I was a little sceptical when I opened the door to my room because the room itself looked like it was out of the 50's (the funny little telephone recess, the pull-cord lights, and the built-ins in the bedroom). However, I had to take that all back! The room was warm, the bed was comfortable, I had a tonne of space, and the shower pressure was insane! The whole space was beautifully clean and had no funky smells at all (good or bad). I also liked that the motel cat came to visit me when I was stuck working at the dining table all day :)

On the first night, I couldn't figure out how to turn the main light off. (It was one of the pull-cord switches that I noticed the next day)

Nice quiet motel, room was a good size. Kitchen had a full sized stove (not that I used it). Bathroom had body wash, shampoo and conditioner. The lady who checked me in was very friendly. Good parking right outside the door. A little out of the main city area.

The outside door needed a curtain on as a bright street light shone through the glass.

Very centrally located, clean and tidy, very quiet and a great place to stay. plenty of coffee, tea, bickies, etc. Proprietor put us on to a very good fish n chip shop. A visit to Hayes Hardware store a must. Also plenty to do and places to see.

Tayesta is clean and comfortable. Owner was friendly and accomodated us for an extra night. Good facilities, not bad location .. about a 1/2 hour walk into the town centre. Easy walk to Transport World and about a 25 minute walk to Mptorcycle Mecca. Great night n day just round the corner - literally! Many thanks to housekeeping refreshing towels and the like .. we were happy to reuse for the couple of days we stayed .. also must add for the ladies, much appreciated the sanitary product disposal bag! Such a welcome touch not usually thought of .. 10 out of 10 there.

The Only negative was not with the motel as such .. it was a yappy little dog somewhere in the neighbourhood that yapped almost nonstop for quite some time each evening .. however thankfully it was quiet during the night.

Enjoyed the cleanliness,comfortable bed and lounge,large tv in lounge and smaller tv in bedroom,modern amenities and friendly reception and staff. Will stay there again on next visit.highly recommended.A+A+A+

The location was close to town. There’s a little store almost next door for food etc. a botttle shop just up the road. The shower was the best we had come across, the unit was roomy enough with all you need. Highly recommend

Morning and evening there was a regular hum and beeping electronically. It would put me off staying again as it was intrusive. It was in the bedroom area.

Friendly and welcoming staff. Not to far from city centre. Provided all our needs for our stay.
