Friendly welcome at reception, which also contains a large array of material for local sights. This was also complimented by a good guest compendium in the room. Room was of a studio type, containing a large comfortable bed along with two single beds. Also had a large table with chairs. Heating took a little while to take effect but once achieved, maintained a comfortable warmth. It had a separate kitchen containing all essential items. Ensuite was of a good size and contained a shower over tub that had good water pressure and hot water. While located on a main highway, room was quiet. A little travelling is however required to reach Invercargill’s CBD and dining options (apart from a local takeaway). Excellent Wi-Fi.

Ensuite was of a good size and contained a shower over tub that had good water pressure and hot water. Only a bar of soap was supplied instead of shower gel, and no hair wash.

A good location close to the city, relatively quiet, taking in its location alongside the main route north.

The offensive notice saying that cooking of ‘seafood or curries’ was not allowed. This information is not in the ‘booking.com’ information - motel policies. Whereas, I would not think of cooking fish in someone else’s home, I see nothing wrong with curry. I would not have booked this motel if the ‘policy’ information was correct!

The room was exactly as described. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Although on the outskirts of town the motel was only three doors away from a comprehensive block of shops.

Although clean and in good condition the decor was a bit dated.

Basic accomodation, spacious and everything you could need, great value and was fabulous to have a room for the kids and a room for the adults plus communal space. Customer service exceptional

Staff were helpful and supplied a room that suited our needs for easy access. The location is good, easy to find on a main road but still quiet. The room was clean and well equipped having everything we expected.

Nothing really, it was a bit far from town but I chose the place to be close to the Ascot Hotel.

A very last-minute find, having been disappointed with the place we had originally booked. We were made to feel very welcome and the spacious apartment had everything we needed, although slightly tired decoration. Lovely setting. Washing machine and tumble drier available.

Jo, our host was unbelievable. And I mean in a great way. She is so bubbly and helpful. The tips she gave us on what to see and do was exceptional. Very clean and quiet room. Plenty of bins for recycling.

Could not fault our stay there. Felt so homely and relaxing.

Invercargill s clean streets well presented homes and businesses. The roads were great and easy to navigate. 10 out of 10 Invercargill. Bluff however seems to have been forgotten.
