Classic laid-back well maintained stylish country hotel Very accomodating very friendly Runners treated as heroes Pasta dinner the night before Specials on beer buckets Check out postponed by hotel to have a shower and a nap before driving back after the race Fouriesburg the little quaint town set back in history is worth a visit as such, from the dinosaur foot print to the highest vineyards in SA to hiking trails in magnificant scenario, so much to do and see I promptly booked a weekend in this facility later in the year

As I booked late, (2 days before the event) I happen to be accommodated in their last room available (at a reduced price I have to admit) which had minimal natural light and was situated next to the hotel patio which was lively at times

Everything is absolutely beautiful. Loved the garden and the coolness of the lapa. Rooms were comfortable - very much needed a vacuuming under curtains though ;-)

Too little staff. The staff we did have help were wonderful, but it was very slow or we had to go and look for waiters. Also on the first night I had to show the waiter how to open a bottle of wine as he had not been trained.

The staff was awesome, every single one of them from the receptionist to the cleaners and waitresses, particularly Happy who lived up to his name and ensured we are as comfortable as possible.

The food is horrible, suffered a food poisoning that lasted throughout my stay. I also didn't like how the staff is being treated by the owner who is not exactly friendly.

We booked for the weekend as we were attending a wedding in Clarens. My husband, myself and our two grown children booked the family room. It was more than roomy enough and comfortable. My in-laws booked a room for two which was lovely. everything was perfect. We had a walk in closet, a bathroom with a shower and toilet, and next to that a separate toilet. The hosts were super friendly, as were the staff from the lady who helped us in the bar to our very attentive waiter at breakfast. I highly recommend this place if you want to explore Clarens and Fouriesburg.

The only problem was that the toilet kept running, but I am sure it's nothing a Plumber can't fix in a jiff.

Neat, clean rooms. Clean, fresh linnen & towels. Fresh milk available in the rooms fridge for coffee was a pleasant surprise. Friendly staff, good food at the restaurant and superb cocktails from the pub.

The shower cubicle was a bit small and too many shower holders - foot stand, 2 x soap dishes - maybe just one holder for soap & shampoo will be sufficient and free up some space.

They were willing to change our room for the 2nd night They even moved and approved our dates 3x times. Very friendly staff Will go back again

The coffee cups are a bit tooooo small...lol Would maybe like mugs better...then we can relax longer on the stoep...lol

The staff were all fantastic and so very, very helpful. They bent over backward to accommodate us. I wish there was a word that means more than fantastic. I would use that word to describe our stay.

The staff and receptions were excellent. It was our first visit at the Inn and I would most definitely go again. Once again thank you for all the help when asked and the friendliness

the property was well kept and very clean. the staff from reception to the kitchen was very friendly and always ensured that we are ok and checking if we needed anything. Thanks to Chef Markus for the lovely breakfast and taking time to chat to every guest at the table. we will definitely be back for another visit

Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The food was great. We enjoyed breakfast, lunch and dinner at the Inn both days. All the servers were excellent.

We enjoyed everything about our stay. From the reception, servers at the bar and restaurant, Maintenance crew and housekeeping staff were all amazing.
