Stayed in room 717. Top floor and good view. Breakfast was varied. Hotel in good location. Check in staff helpful.

Was disappointed to find no 2nd bathroom in this room as had room 630 last year which did. And the room type booked was the same! The indoor swimming facilities need a re vamp. In fact the indoor main pool is dangerous. Watch out for the sunken concrete structures around the pool pillars!. They are an accident waiting to happen. Our room had no plates or bowls or cutlery etc etc. Again last year we did. Attention to detail is missing.

The grounds were lovely. The hotel was very quiet. The room and bathroom were a good size with nice ameneties. The kitchenette was an added bonus. The spa was very nice but see below re pool. Breakfast was very extensive. 2 suppers in hotel also good especially the buffet starters and desserts.

I paid extra for a sea view. My room was on the side of the hotel on the 5th floor. The view was obscured by trees. My brother, two floors below and only a few rooms along from mine had a much better view- not obscured by trees. He had paid less for a side sea view. I should have asked to be moved when when I arrived but didnt do this. By the time I saw my brothers room it was a bit too late to change. The outdoor pool was very cold. Perhaphs expected but at 25C the indoor one was a bit chilly too 2 degrees more would have made all the difference.

We really enjoyed our beautiful room, the entire property is very clean and located in a perfect area to reach all of the beaches and restaurants. The staff were always very helpful and kind. Pool and spa areas are also very nice.

Our only disappointment were the drinks at the outside pool area. We tried 3 different drinks and each of them were not good at all. We did not even finish them. Either they did not know how to make the drink or the ingredients were horrible. Other restaurants in the area made great drinks so I am not sure what happened.

Great location, on a cliff next to two different beaches. The facilities are a bit old and worn down, but the room still felt comfortable, and there is a mini kitchen I didn't use. There are some places to eat out and the breakfast was quite nice. The swimming pool is a bit old looking, but it does the job - helps to refresh.

Good value for the money for this resort. A wonderful calm area with one pool inside (heated), big enough to swim in and one beautiful big pool area outside with space enough with magnificent sea view and beautiful, dramatic cliffs in front. Quiet, clean and safe. Very friendly and helpful staff. Richly, tasty and fresh breakfast. We had a room with sea view. We came by bikes and could bring them to our room and store them safely on our balcony which was big enough. We hopefully will come back.

Staff were great Food was lovely Outside pool was open (but cold) Room has a kitchenette, not just a fridge. Nice view even though a side room. No Annoying Children!!!

Inside pool was cold Sauna and Jacuzzi worked intermittently Dining room n bar carpet tired n worn Broken light fitting in lounge should have been replaced. Give it was Nov and the hotel was quite empty could have offered us a full sea view or bigger room.

I had a great experience at the Pestana Viking Resort. Everything went smoothly during my stay, and I truly enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere and beautiful surroundings. What stood out the most was the friendliness and attentiveness of the staff — everyone was welcoming and always ready to help, which made a big difference. The food was also very good, with a variety of tasty options available throughout the day. Overall, I would definitely recommend this resort for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy a comfortable stay in the Algarve. Great service, delicious food, and a peaceful environment made it a very pleasant experience.

The propert is excellently maintained. Neat and clean. Staff is polite and courteous. They upgraded my room as well as welcomed me with a bottle of wine, something that will clearly fall into the "exceeded my expectations" category. Also, they accommodated late checkout to suit my travel plans. Truly thankful and looking forward to another visit sometime soon!

Probably due to some maintainence work going on in the area, there was a pause in the water supply for a morning. Maybe, if they can talk to local authorities to get scheduling information so the guests can be informed and plan for it accordingly, that will be good!

Excellent hotel in a beautiful location. Very clean, great staff and good breakfast. All really good.

The property itself was great. Only negative was that I had higher expectations of the nearby beach. It was packed all day as it is very small. Still, a stunning location and well worth a visit. The town itself does not have a lot to offer in my opinion.
