Leonardo Hotel is easy to find in central Sheffield and has pleasant, friendly and helpful staff. My room was of a respectable size with a comfortable bed. There was a wide choice of things to eat at the breakfast buffet which was also good value for money.
The hotel does not have on-site parking, (although the public multi-storey car park is just a little further down the road). Initially 24 hour parking rates look a little daunting, but the hotel discounts the rates for you. Although I had a good rate for the room, even better if the parking charge could be brought down a little more to around £8 per night or less.

We were upgraded to a superior room, which was nice as it came with biscuits, bottled water and a later checkout, but was a little on the small side. The staff throughout the hotel were lovely - everyone from Louise on reception (excellent staff member, give her a raise) to Gabor the duty manager, the bar staff and housekeeping staff were friendly and welcoming. Great job by your hiring teams!
Annoyingly, the AC in the rooms switched off somewhere around midnight so both nights we woke up in a sweaty mess in the small hours to go switch the AC back on. The rest of the hotel was ridiculously hot - corridors, reception, even the bar area. Invest in upgrading your AC - even if just for your staff's benefit.

Great location for a stopover after a show at the City Hall. Good sized room, extremely comfortable bed, choice of pillows, tea-making facilities and even an iron and ironing board. Very quiet room. Great price which included an excellent buffet breakfast.
Air conditioning automatically turned off at night, and I could not find a way of turning it back on. Fortunately the weather had cooled down a little, but I still woke up too warm in the middle of the night. I would have thought that many guests would have wanted air conditioning at night, to have a more comfortable sleeping experience.

It is a modern hotel and very quiet in our room. The room was spacious and it was very clean. Bed very comfortable. The staff were helpful in sorting some minor issues and the 11am checkout was helpful. They were also helpful about a potentially early check-in/storage of bags. Hotel was close to the amazing classic Indian restaurant Shapla which is a 5 minute walk away - beautiful food and excellent value for money.
Not a great location for those without a car (apart from proximity to Shapla and the room was dark given the window was on the side so we needed lights on all the time. It was a spacious room but for some bizarre reason they only had one chair for the freestanding table when there was plenty of room for a second. Easy fix :)

Spot on stay – good value Stayed in an executive room on a Sunday night and honestly can’t fault it. The room was super clean, had a big bath, a mini fridge, loads of TV channels, and a kettle with coffee – the works. Even had a decent view over Sheffield. All that for about £70? Absolute bargain. Would 100% stay again.. we had a late check out, which was at 2:00 pm, which was great. Has snacks and drinks available in the lobby, has a gym, bar, and restaurant. Parking is over the road, and hotels guests discounted to £10 per day when scanning the token at reception. Right in the centre of Sheffield bars and restaurants within a 10-minute walk. 9/10 for value and cleanliness

Everything I booked very late to arrive only 20 minutes later, and I was already on the system. Reception is as ever very helpful and friendly.I was even able to ask for a room I've become to really like 910. As it's airy, bright with a nice view over the city. I slept like a dream as the beds are so comfy. The lounge bar was still open, so I had a good price wine, beautiful taste. Breakfast, which is a hot and cold buffet, was good, especially the sausage of good quality. All staff are very organised well trained and very friendly.
Nothing to not like. Best city centre hotel in Sheffield.

Short bus ride to Sheffield Botanical Gardens, which were very pretty but not surprisingly very dry because of the prolonged hot weather. Receptionist in hotel very helpful was able to tell us where to catch the bus. Hotel is convenient for walk into town to shops and Winter Gardens. More to see but we were only there for one night and had been before. Few minutes from train station so hotel very convenient. Also found large indoor Market which was great and had loads of fresh fruit amongst other things.
Nothing we didn't like. Sheffield is great for a short break especially by train.

Loved the look and the cleanliness. Room was lovely and the staff were always helpful. We arrived too early and asked about leaving our luggage there before our check-in time so we wouldn't have to lug our bags around while we waited, but the person behind the counter actually checked us in right there and then, letting us relax asap. Top service, and the breakfast was brill too. All you can eat brekkie for 13 quid a person is great value, especially with everything on offer.
There were a few issues in regards to other guests and even staff making unnecessary noise, but luckily this was kept to waking hours (for the most part). There were times where rooms next to ours were being cleaned, and the house keepers would continuously bang against the a joining walls with their hoovers as they cleaned, which was a bit jarring. Another slight thing is the equipment in the fitness suite, which had a lack of any sort of equipment that wasn't cardio based. Not too much of an issue since there were other gyms nearby, but as someone that trains lifting weights, it left a lot to be desired.

The overall experience from check-in to check-out. Fabulous hotel design, exceptionally clean, and the staff as ever top class. Andy, on reception in the evening and the young lady who I'm afraid I didn't get her name are an asset to the hotel. I've been many times, and these members of staff I always hope are on shift. 5* in every department. This stay wasn't for leisure, but for my dad's test results, both Andy and this lady made my stay special and couldn't do enough. I really want to express my thanks. (My next stay is for leisure in June), I will be staying longer. I can't wait. The breakfast was good quality, and good choices are available. My room 703 was spotless, a good size with a great view, especially in the evening when the lights are put on.
Nothing exceptional as ever.

Nice hotel on a just-out-of-centre location. The staff is friendly, the hotel bar is a warm and cozy place to have a drink. The breakfast area is roomy and nicely situated. The breakfast itself is decent and contains just enough choice to have something satisfying for everybody, Continental or English. The rooms are clean and roomy enough. The bed (including pillow) is good, that's always an important one. The bathroom is just about decent, with a nice firm shower water jet. A very nice and decent hotel for the price!
The bath is a bit small to stand in when showering. And a shower curtain is always a bit......yeah well not poverty-stricken, but it could have been a bit more luxuory/modern. The toilet-flush is not very powerful, so sometimes something is left behind after 1 flush. There is no mini-fridge in the room
