Beautiful accommodation. The hotel, rooms, spa and grounds were lovely. Would definitely recommend and will definitely revisit.

Information about the spa was not clearly stated before booking. I was disappointed on booking that even a room with spa access we would only afford us an hour in the spa. This was a shame as the spa facilities were lovely and I would have hoped to spend more time there. I found this a bit misleading, and had it have been clear on the room information on booking.com I would have perhaps selected a differing room option.

Location Food in restaurant excellent. Service in restaurant really good, except for the cat.

No kettle in room. Coffee machine didn’t heat the water enough to make tea. A cat being allowed to walk through the restaurant. Then staff picking it up and then continuing to serve food. No internal phone working. WiFi not working either.

The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. I appreciate hotels with proper blackout blinds. The bottle of water and coffee machine in the room is nice touch. The breakfast options are good also.

My room was in the main house and there is little to no sound proofing i could hear everyone going down the hallway and the bar downstairs. The spa was a lot smaller than expected. Bar staff had no training on how to make cocktails they sell. When youre paying £12 for a drink you want it made properly. They had no idea what it should even look like and were trying to put it together like they were following lego instructions.

Lovely tranquil location. Exceptionally clean hotel. Well maintained and looked after. Well trained staff. The spa was so clean. Cleanest we have ever stayed in the UK. ALL OTHER hotels could learn a very valuable lesson about cleanliness and hygiene from this one! WELL done to the entire team. We also want to particularly thank Elisabeth the resturant manager. She REALLY knows what she is doing and you can tell she has a PASSION for her work! We will be back!

The spa hours could be extended a bit. We are early birds and would have liked to go into the spa before breakfast. Or at the end of a busy day just before bed.

The hotel was clean and my room was comfortable. The spa facilities were clean and just enough stations to not get busy ( ie sauna, steam room, jacuzzi etc.

This is being very picky, but I ordered my evening meal (both the steak ) but they were very different in taste, presentation and extras on each night. I was informed that it was a different chef but I think a standardisation should have happened. The first night had a great salad and the steak was fantastic, there was plenty of sauce and the chips were great. The second night my sauce was 3/4 the size less (£3 extra) and the steak had no way near the flavour. Like I said this is a very picky point, but a point nonetheless.

Perfect, food was lovely, service was great and i even got a sausage for my puppy for breakfast. I like that there was an area i could bring my dog to sit for breakfast, alas was not allowed in the restaurant area. The spa was AMAZING.. I would come back just for the spa.

More bins to be located around the grounds. Hard to find. The pillows were too hard, and I did not sleep well due to this. uncomfortable. The seating outside was not set up. It would have been nice to sit outside with the puppy to enjoy a meal. Due to this, we ate elsewhere in the evenings.

The staff were welcoming, and the room was clean, modern, and comfortable with a lovely balcony overlooking a walled garden.. However, the lighting was faulty, and one of the spotlights had been removed, so it clearly needs some much needed maintenance. The spa experience was incredibly relaxing (access included with the doom) and made up for some of the negative experience we had at the meal.

We had a mixed experience during our stay. The staff were friendly, and the food was delicious and served quickly. However, we were there to celebrate Valentine’s Day as a couple, and unfortunately, four women were seated next to us who became increasingly loud after drinking wine, which disrupted the romantic atmosphere. We decided to leave early, but getting the bill was frustrating, we asked twice and eventually had to go to the front desk to request it from the manager. This put a damper on what was meant to be a special evening.

We were upgraded upon check-in, and my partner and I unexpectedly had the bridal suite which was amazing! Never been upgraded before so this was a lovely surprise. The bar/ restaurant and spa looked all refurbished and new, one of the best spas I've been to! All staff we spoke to were very attentive and friendly - especially when we ordered iced coffees in the outdoor spa area! Felt welcome at the spa as hotel guests (amongst the spa package guests) and spa time wasn't strict as it sometimes can be, though we did stay Mon-Tue off peak.

Only fault would be the hotel seems to be right next to a small airfield with small, noisy planes coming over quite often. Though this did stop at night.

Stayed before (pre-COVID) and it’s as lovely as I recall with an evident refresh. Room was nice, bed comfy and bathroom well appointed and spotless. Staff friendly an extremely helpful and breakfast nice (B&B included continental with cooked costing extra, that said Eggs Royale was only an additional £3). One hour use of spa facilities/ gym included in my (very reasonable) room rate. Swimming pool, hot/cold spa facilities lovely. Didn’t use gym but it looked as good as any hotel gym that I have seen. Cannot comment on spa treatment or treatment facilities.

My room had shower over bath rather than shower cubicle (personal preference), although the shower in the spa changing room was brilliant

Stunning property with a lovely spa. Room was a spa room and was lovely and clean. Staff were friendly and the ladies that served us at breakfast were so helpful with my dietary requirements and put me at ease. Lovely breakfast included and catered for GF.

Room was a little stuffy at night, could’ve done with a fan or air con we did turn heating off and opened the window but didn’t help, also sounded like constant water running throughout the night which was a little annoying. We booked our time for the spa but unfortunately it was extremely busy considering people need to book, no lounge beds available as people had laid towels and left them to use spa, also very chop and change in regards to spa usage as too many people in certain things at a time, making it feel uncomfortable ie sauna, steam room and jacuzzi.
