Beautiful accommodation. The hotel, rooms, spa and grounds were lovely. Would definitely recommend and will definitely revisit.

Information about the spa was not clearly stated before booking. I was disappointed on booking that even a room with spa access we would only afford us an hour in the spa. This was a shame as the spa facilities were lovely and I would have hoped to spend more time there. I found this a bit misleading, and had it have been clear on the room information on booking.com I would have perhaps selected a differing room option.

Location Food in restaurant excellent. Service in restaurant really good, except for the cat.

No kettle in room. Coffee machine didn’t heat the water enough to make tea. A cat being allowed to walk through the restaurant. Then staff picking it up and then continuing to serve food. No internal phone working. WiFi not working either.

Breakfast was great. A good selection to try, the waitresses were really lovely. I particularly liked an older lady who did a few shifts a week. she was really helpful and fun to talk to. The food at the wedding reception was excellent, there were plenty of staff, all well dressed and very polite who worked efficiently and hard through out the event.

I found the room a little stuffy, not very well ventilated. It was the hottest day of the year so I suppose the heat in the room was to be expected, but I felt air conditioning would have helped. Also there was condensation in between the double glazing panes. The room was really clean and the be was made up every day which I liked.

The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. I appreciate hotels with proper blackout blinds. The bottle of water and coffee machine in the room is nice touch. The breakfast options are good also.

My room was in the main house and there is little to no sound proofing i could hear everyone going down the hallway and the bar downstairs. The spa was a lot smaller than expected. Bar staff had no training on how to make cocktails they sell. When youre paying £12 for a drink you want it made properly. They had no idea what it should even look like and were trying to put it together like they were following lego instructions.

Lovely tranquil location. Exceptionally clean hotel. Well maintained and looked after. Well trained staff. The spa was so clean. Cleanest we have ever stayed in the UK. ALL OTHER hotels could learn a very valuable lesson about cleanliness and hygiene from this one! WELL done to the entire team. We also want to particularly thank Elisabeth the resturant manager. She REALLY knows what she is doing and you can tell she has a PASSION for her work! We will be back!

The spa hours could be extended a bit. We are early birds and would have liked to go into the spa before breakfast. Or at the end of a busy day just before bed.

Lovely hotel, our room was amazing, nice and big. The room was clean and had all the necessities. We enjoyed a coffee in bed in the morning. The spa was so relaxing (2nd visit we timed with the no kids times to relax more). The food was great both evening and for breakfast and all the staff were super friendly. A great location to explore the surrounding Cotswolds.

The only downside was the temperature of our room. It was super warm and gave us trouble sleeping - no room controls and only one fan for a big room - would not cope in the middle of summer.

The hotel was clean and my room was comfortable. The spa facilities were clean and just enough stations to not get busy ( ie sauna, steam room, jacuzzi etc.

This is being very picky, but I ordered my evening meal (both the steak ) but they were very different in taste, presentation and extras on each night. I was informed that it was a different chef but I think a standardisation should have happened. The first night had a great salad and the steak was fantastic, there was plenty of sauce and the chips were great. The second night my sauce was 3/4 the size less (£3 extra) and the steak had no way near the flavour. Like I said this is a very picky point, but a point nonetheless.

Perfect, food was lovely, service was great and i even got a sausage for my puppy for breakfast. I like that there was an area i could bring my dog to sit for breakfast, alas was not allowed in the restaurant area. The spa was AMAZING.. I would come back just for the spa.

More bins to be located around the grounds. Hard to find. The pillows were too hard, and I did not sleep well due to this. uncomfortable. The seating outside was not set up. It would have been nice to sit outside with the puppy to enjoy a meal. Due to this, we ate elsewhere in the evenings.

We absolutely loved the stay that much we have booked for January 2026. And can't wait to come back. Food was so lovely stunning views. Staff super welcoming and friendly and receptionist very helpful on our arrival and any help we needed. Night porter came to our aid when we needed a fan as our room was very hot. Room facilities was high quality and very clean and tidy. SPA facilities was amazing we absolutely loved it staff super helpful. Highly recommend to anyone looking to get away and enjoy a luxury spa holiday

The staff were welcoming, and the room was clean, modern, and comfortable with a lovely balcony overlooking a walled garden.. However, the lighting was faulty, and one of the spotlights had been removed, so it clearly needs some much needed maintenance. The spa experience was incredibly relaxing (access included with the doom) and made up for some of the negative experience we had at the meal.

We had a mixed experience during our stay. The staff were friendly, and the food was delicious and served quickly. However, we were there to celebrate Valentine’s Day as a couple, and unfortunately, four women were seated next to us who became increasingly loud after drinking wine, which disrupted the romantic atmosphere. We decided to leave early, but getting the bill was frustrating, we asked twice and eventually had to go to the front desk to request it from the manager. This put a damper on what was meant to be a special evening.
