Was originally concerned about the location, but it was very safe and secure. My room was surprisingly clean and updated considering the age of the building. Even the elevator (manually ran) showed the building's age. I thought that was cool.

There wasn't anything to dislike...

It was a really cool old hotel, had an old elevator and everything. Right beside it was a bodega. The rooms were clean, bed was comfy, the staff was friendly.

The location was a little sketchy but it's not like we were just hanging out outside so it didn't bother me so much. The water temperature was difficult to regulate since it kind if depended on the use of water from other guests.

It was very good must stay here it's really good the other reviews don't do it justice place was clean all the time. Area is sketchy but remember homeless people are people to. You will be fine it's not the Hilton but great value for money

Nothing everything was perfect for me.

Central to many great restaurants and easy access grocery marts.

Area is bad - tweakers galore, human feces in the sidewalk, screaming until midnight.

Very friendly and service minded staff.
