This is a beautiful b&b located in a very tranquil area. It is a private family owned house and guests are made feel very welcome. It was absolutely spotless. We look forward to coming back. This was our second visit and would certainly recommend it to anyone who values very peaceful and very lovely welcoming and helpful owner.. Also Mary ,prepared a lovely breakfast and makes all guests feel very welcome..

There was nothing we didn't like. But I think it is worth mentioning that this b&b is not walking distance from any local village or town , and therefore you would have to either drive or get a taxi if you wished to go out for a meal . Good idea to have your meal first before booking in so that u can then just relax quietly in the lovely house .

Duncormick is not the centre of the world, but its location between the historically interesting towns of Wexfrord and Waterford made Ambrose Mews a great stopover for us. And we were not disappointed. The hostess is incredibly friendly and we received a very warm welcome. The room was large, the bed comfortable and the bathroom huge (but unfortunately not en suite, but we were given super-soft bathrobes). As we had announced in advance that we were vegan, our hostess made every effort to veganise our breakfast. And it was a complete success! A really rich and very tasty breakfast. In hindsight, it was a bit of a shame that we only stayed one night, as we felt very comfortable.

There is nothing to complain about. The bed and breakfast exceeded all our expectations.

Beautiful house, tastefully decorated, friendly and hospitable hostess, happy to share her local knowledge and stories, plenty of safe parking, beautiful grounds and good breakfast.

Pillows were too flat for us, could’ve done with plumper pillows or a couple more of the same. We only stayed one night and didn’t realise this until gone to bed, otherwise I’m sure this would’ve been sorted by a very attentive hostess.

Mary is the perfect host - very welcoming, caring, relaxed, friendly and informative. One of the very best stays I have had in a family B+B. There is nothing like an Irish welcome. Could have stayed for several says if I did not have a cycle tour to do. Bedroom and bathroom were superb and I had a fantastic night's sleep in an extremely comfortable bed. Lovely breakfast and plenty of it to set me up for a long day of cycling. THANK YOU MARY.

There is nothing to dislike

Mary was a great hostess. She met us at the door, provided details about the accommodations and nearby attractions. The room was clean and well appointed with a mixture of antiques and modern furniture. The bathroom was clean with plenty of hot water for showers and amenities. The breakfast was a great traditional Irish breakfast along with fruit, cold cereals, juice, etc. Mary and her son were attentive but not obtrusive.

Nothing.

Fabulous B&B, 5 star property. Mary is an absolutely fantastic host and nothing is a problem to her. We were leaving early in the morning for the ferry and Mary made us up a breakfast pack, it was fantastic and really appreciated. Ambrose Mews is only about 25 minutes drive away from Rosslare harbour, so it is the ideal location to really chill before your trip. I would highly recommend this property.

Nothing, we loved everything.

This was our second visit to Ambrose Mews and Mary. It really is a beautiful house, welcoming and spotless. Our en-suite room was large and very comfortable. The choice for breakfast was endless and all cooked to order, nothing is too much trouble for her. Mary Barry's Seafood Restaurant in Kilmore is first class but you do need to book early. A walk around Kilmore Quay was a good finish to a perfect stay at Ambrose Mews.

Absolutely nothing.

Would highly recommend Mary's brown bread. This high end B&B was not too far away from Kilmore Quay and the beautiful Mary Barry's bar and restaurant in the village of Kilmore. It is worthwhile paying a visit to the church in Duncormick. Duncormick also has a riverside walk. Also, not too far from Johnstown Castle and Gardens. Book the tour of Johnstown castle. Approximately 30 minutes from Rosslare Europort.

Place looks amazing, very clean and decorated like luxury house, big room and bathroom, worm and quiet. You just want to stay longer. Mary is when you need her but also discreet, but is very nice to talk with her.. Breakfast was tasty with all you can wish. I love this place, hopefully come back soon. Thank you for the luxury time 😘

Great traditional Irish breakfast with plenty of options and additions.

We would recommend this place to anyone. Coming from Duncormick, it was easy to find on the road north just past the viaduct on the left side. The queen bed was very comfortable. Mary was very welcoming and a pleasure to stay with. Beautiful quiet surroundings.
