I loved my stay at My Friend's house Karon! Everything was perfect. Everyone in the staff was wonderful, both in the reception and the cleaners and other staff. Everyone was so sweet, nice, helpful and they were all hard working. I don't think I've ever stayed in a cleaner hotel room - it was cleaned for at least half an hour every day, and the sheets were changed 3 times a week. There were no bugs of any kind, but we saw a couple of cute geckos outside, an animal you want near your room as they eat bugs. We could hear them almost every night. The reception had a 24h service, and they were very helpful. My roommate has trouble walking, and was helped on several occasions. The hotel also has a laundry service. The rooms with pool access are beautiful, and equipped with a fridge and a kettle. Two bottles of water was provided every day, as well as instant coffee, teabags and sugar. The pool area is just dreamy. It is so beautifully designed. The pool is super clean, with salt water. There is also a bubble pool in one corner, and a kiddy area. We stayed in a room with pool access, and it was worth every penny. We used the patio a lot, but also the comfortable sun beds. It's about one kilometre to the beach in either direction. For most people, that is no problem, but if you are tired when you are going home, and don't want to walk uphill, you can always use the Bolt app and get a taxi. It is way cheaper than using one of the taxis that are waiting for customers near the beach. There are several nice restaurants near the hotel, as well as a few different shops. You'll find that this is the hotel that has everything! When I come back to Karon, I will stay at the same hotel again, that's for sure. It's worth the distance to the sea.

There's nothing I didn't like.

We had a room service every day and it was spot on. Clean rooms. A lot of space. Very good place to stay at. You need a scooter if you want to go somewhere because it’s a little bit far from karon beach and you need to walk on the highway

The water in the shower was not draining well

Easy to find. Lady at reception was super sweet and kind! Loved the pool

The beds… could barely sleep on my side they were so so solid! No soap to wash your hands and the dispensers in the shower were broken and were not filled. Location - too far to walk if you have little legs or are old

Be a good idea if they had microwaves in the bedroom for solo travellers, we don’t wanna go out walking at night where they can go to 7-Eleven get a meal and heat him up in the bedroom

For the price, it’s an excellent hotel with a pool. The pool is shallow, with soft cushion chairs instead of sun loungers. Rooms facing the pool are quiet. The hotel is quite far from the beach and cafés. If you use a motorbike or car, the city center is a five-minute drive away. Convenient parking for motorbikes and cars. Within walking distance, there’s a gas station with a 7/11 store, a laundry, and an Amazon coffee shop. Daily housekeeping is provided. Very responsive staff.

The bedding has a synthetic blend, which isn’t very comfortable. The air conditioning is weak. Sunlight shines through the windows most of the day, making the room very hot.

Place was great, and comfortable. staff very friendly and helped us with local transport. Rooms cleaned everyday with new towels and free water. Pool facilities were great nice place to chill

Close to Karon beach (15 min walk), on the way you can find nice restaurants and fruit stalls, normal shops (unlike the very touristy Kata). The place itself has a pool, other guests were quiet, very friendly staff. Spacious, clean room, balcony. Fast wifi for video calls. Everything is nice and there is such a friendly atmosphere. In the Karon night market area (10 min walk) there are bars if you want some nightlife.

Small detail : It's next to the road so during the day you will hear the scooters.

Location, room size, ensuite facilities, cleanliness and kindness & politeness of the staff. I don't usually require my room to be cleaned everyday, however I was still asked if I still wanted clean towels, tea, coffee, waters etc... which I thought was very kind of the staff. Approx 1mile/1.6Km walk to the beach. Lots of places within easy walking distance to eat and drink. Also, plenty of Scooter hire nearby. The hotel also has a small swimming pool, which was very clean.

Nothing. It was a positive experience and a great 5 day stay.
