Very nice and clean, great swimming pool, rooms were tidied up each day.

Quiet far to the beach. On the beach there are not public showers and toilets. No sunbeds and parasols available. Electricity falls down very often and as we were accomodated upstairs, you can not use even toilets or shower, no water for cleaning at all. Recommeded to buy backup source for electricity, as this was big disadvantage of our stay and compared to paid price it was quite expensive.

We absolutely loved the property and everything about it. We stayed in 5 differend hotels during our 3 week stay in Zanzibar and Mimi na Wewe was the best of all. We had two bedroom apartment with living room and kitchen, rooms were clean and tidy. Working air con in all rooms, mosquito nets on all windows. They were cleaning the pool every day. Staff is extreamly friendly and were ready to do everything for you. We had few chances to spend some time with the owner - she is very nice and friendly lady from Switzerland. It is quite small and cozy place, so not too many people, you always have a chair by the pool, feels very chill and relaxed. Local Beach is about 10mins walk, Kendwa beach is about 15mins drive. Less then 10mins walk there is a Cocobello Bar Night Club (works 3 times a week) with music and dances and fit beach boys who does a show at midnight. Nice African vibes and good local experience.

Beautiful villa and amazing staff, comfy rooms and a the owner is lovely too! A lovely oasis!

Location is quite far from restaurants (15 mins along dirt track then a main road) and about an 8 min walk from the beach again down not great roads. But the villa and its beauty and peace do make up for it!

Staff is very friendly and forthcoming. There is always someone around. Food is available 10am-10pm all day. Options very tasty. Breakfast was good. Pool, room and the garden is very beautiful and you feel at home. very tasty drinks and juices.

We have never felt so comfortable in a hotel before. The team is incredibly friendly, and the food is outstanding! Compliments to Ibrahim and his team. Although we had only booked breakfast, we ended up having lunch and dinner there several times because it was so delicious! The rooms are very spacious and always clean. The hotel itself is rather quiet, which makes for a restful sleep. At the reception, Nice and Raffa are always available and ready to help. We would love to come back again. We already miss everyone!

Everything was perfect! If I have to say something: maybe the wifi in the rooms could be better. But it’s not that important to us.

This property was great overall. The rooms were comfortable, the pool was lovely and the gardens were beautiful. Everything was very well maintained.

The only thing that was disappointing was the location. Whilst this is nobody's fault, Mimi na Wewe is situated in an area where a lot of development is happening, so the general area is a bit of a building site. The surrounding area was a little rough, the roads hard to navigate, and whilst we were happy to walk around and find our way, I think this may put some people off. The closest beach was about a 10 min walk, so that in itself was great.

Excellent food from the restaurant and the room was spotless . Aircon. Lots of space for clothes. So relaxing. A real gem. Best time ever. The staff are super friendly and I learned a lot of Swahili. Irene the owner is lovely and asks if everything is good. The grounds are spotless and garden is magnificent, maintained every day. Pool cleaned every day. We cannot recommend this hotel enough

Very beautiful place, decorated with love. The property is not so far from the beach (app. 10 minutes); it's small, so not too many people and you can relax near the pool. We loved our room, which was clean and tidy. The owner and the staff are extremely friendly and were ready to help us every moment. We checked out in the night and were given the take-out breakfast. It was so sweet :)

I stayed for 5 days and had a wonderful experience at this beautiful villa surrounded by nature. Among the many highlights, I would like to highly commend the swimming pool and the food. The pool is kept at a comfortable temperature, and the villa’s buildings provides shade, allowing me to swim under the sky without worrying about sunburn. I also appreciated that the pool stayed open late, making it possible to swim while stargazing. The restaurant being open all day was another great advantage. The breakfast was absolutely delightful, and I chose to have all my meals at this restaurant without feeling the need to dine out. The manager and staff were incredibly kind and responsible, working together with nice teamwork. When I needed a tour guide, the manager promptly arranged one, helping me fully enjoy my time exploring Zanzibar. The owner also checked in to ensure everything was doing well.

What isn’t there to like about Mimi na Wewe… the staff is incredible, welcoming, friendly, and extremely accommodating. Anything we needed they immediately helped with and were very patient with any and all questions we had. The hotel itself is incredible. The design was well thought out and it makes you feel like you’re truly in an oasis. It’s close enough to walk into the main part of town but just far enough that it’s quiet and extremely peaceful. The rooms are sooo spacious! It feels like you have a suite in a fancy hotel and everything works marvelously! Cold AC, shower with hot water if you feel you need it, large area for storing your clothes, and a safe to keep certain things… safe. Thank you to Justice, Chuga, Rebecca, and the rest of the staff for making our stay truly amazing! Can’t wait to come back.
