It was not far from railway and taxi service was excellent. The manager was cheery and helpful. The room was basic but nice and clean with microwave, fridge, TV, air conditioner and complimentary tea etc. The manager showed me how to order take away food from chinese which was delicious. I ordered a taxi to early morning train and they were right on time. Nice experience all round. Thank-you.

When I arrived the reception was closed and it was not made clear what I should do. I pushed what looked like a communication box but did not make a sound, then the manager was opening the door. He was cheery and helpful.

It was great that it had a Microwave and Crockery and Cutlery. (only used the Crockery and Cutlery on this occasion)

Parking was a bit disorganized. No Breakfast at the venue and I didn't see anywhere near by. A lot of light came in through the vertical blinds as the lights were on outside during the night. Black out curtains would be good.

My greeting at reception was friendly and very helpful. Location excellent. Room was large and had everything you could need. Some of the room was tired but they had it presented very well and it was extremely clean which I find much more important.

The owner had done his best to set up our room with things we might need He was very attentive and even came to our room at 8:40 at night to assist when I asked for help.

Like most motels, this was quite old and could do with some renovating. It was flooded a year ago and insurance had taken a long time to come through, so it is understandable that renovations have not happened. It was clean and our beds and bedding were comfortable.

No restaurant in site, but very close to food outlets and restaurants. Great location. Very clean and awesome value for money. Needed an extension cord and they brought one over straight away. Staff were really lovely and so helpful.

Someone upstairs was showering 11pm-12pm, which kept me awake, but that is no fault of the proprietors merely thoughtlessness on the part of other customers.

Strange noise on and off all night outside my room, but it didn't stop me sleeping.

Very clean and comfortable, bed was very comfy, the room looked really good and carpet appeared new. Bathroom whilst a little old was clean and inviting.

A great place to crash for the night if you’re attending the Queen Elizabeth parkrun (starting line within walking distance). Room was comfortable and spacious enough. Hassle free checkout - just leave your key in the room.

No other facilities except a room and some tables and chairs outside facing the car park.

I liked mums room more than mine.Mum was really happy. Location was perfect. A neat little town . Great parking . Great that smoking isnt permitted in the room.

Mums room was perdect. We had rooms side by side. My room smelled of nicotine. My kettle was still full. My shower glass was dirty.

Beautiful location across from the river! Very close to business centre. The manager was very helpful with my late check-in, thank you. Sheets were beautifully laundered and great quality.

There are stairs to many upper level rooms, if you have heavy bags. I was a late check-in so it couldn't be helped. Latex pillows would be a great idea.
