Really good location. Hallstatt, Gosau, Gosausee and Bad Ischl all very accessible by train or bus. The train and bus station is a few minutes walk away. Breakfast was basic but good. The room was clean with a nice view of the mountains.

Only a 6 minute train ride to Hallstatt & just a 5 minute walk to the train station from hotel. The check in/check out instructions were detailed, the staff were wonderful, the cost was very affordable & the free parking included was a definite bonus considering parking in Europe is extremely difficult. The included breakfast was convenient & delicious. I would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone looking for a place to stay when visiting Hallstatt.

Room was quite small but manageable

Nice clean comfortable room. Small bathroom but clean & good shower. Comfortable beds. Side tables with lamps & sockets. Plenty of space to unpack if needed. Room 6 mountain view. Plenty of free parking in front of hotel. Arrived after 3 so had to get key out lock box but no problem. Kettle on landing area so could make hot drink if you take your own things. Fridge as well for all guests . Eateries in area but close quite early so check times.

First what you may notice here is a magnificent location. The view is breathtaking and even overwhelming. The whole vibe is something beyond reality. The hotel is very comfy with special own aura. Here you have everything you may need: parking lot, good breakfast, nice place to stay and even a place to rest next to the hotel (several tables under trees with astonishing view on the mountains). The hotel is pretty neat and clean, it is also in a process of restoration, so they upgrade some new rooms. Pretty easy check-in method, just call and get instructions. I was pleasantly surprised, that staff here speaks different languages including Ukrainian. The breakfast is another good point for this hotel.You won’t be hungry after it. Coffee, tea, juice, veggies, fruits and all other continental breakfast usuals. Here you may also try a buffet for lunch (unfortunately we didn’t have time to do it). I am really pleased with staying here. It was a good relaxing point in our journey.

The hotel is in a small village with relaxing surroundings, such as small meadow with some flowers, mountain view along the way from the little train station. A peaceful and charming stay.

The restaurant in the hotel mostly opens only until lunch time. And the last boat from Hallstatt is so early at 18.15. If you plan to have dinner at the hotel, it’s good idea to ask whether their restaurant opens in that evening.

Nice, large, well equipped and cozy room with a warm atmosphere. Nice view to the mountains nearby. Breakfast was more than okay. Able to park right at the entrance for free - that's a treasure. Staff was helpful and friendly.

Large, but quite old bed. Mattress was a bit worn out so was not very comfortable to sleep on it. Even with the windows and blinds closed traffic noise was so loud from the outside. Would not say I slept well but still, enjoyed staying here.

The breakfast here was really good, you can notice that it's related to the butcher. Personel was also nice and helpful. Check in was a bit weird regarding the keybox but didn't pose any real problems.

The rooms were a bit small and although we booked 2 rooms (1 for the wife and me, other one for my 9 year old child) the rooms weren't next to eachother. That wasn't a real problem, but still felt a bit weird not being next door to your child.

Extremely close (About 5 minutes walk) to the Steeg/Hallstätter See-Gosau train station. Breakfast was included which was a buffet. A friend and I rented bikes also which was free of charge. Extremely quiet area.

The bathroom is smaller than what I'm used to. The restaurant closes relatively early in the day in case you want to eat there after breakfast.

Location was nice, it took five minutes from the train station by walking. Breakfast was good, I think there were enough options for a facility of that size. Employees were really nice and friendly. Our room was clean and bathroom was really new.

Although our room was clean, there were a couple of spots on the bed sheet. It doesn't mean that it was dirty, I guess these spots were permanent on the bed sheets.

Superb hotel near Steeg Gosau train station. 500mtr walking. Very well maintained rooms with all amenities. Location one of the best. Can easily move hallstat & nearby locations from these station. Rooms have exceptional views. Would definitely come again if got a chance.
