I liked the value of the hotel for the amount of stays. This was the second time we stayed at this hotel. There has been some improvements as they now do offer a restaurant service.

Comparing to our first stay two years ago, this time around we didn't have full access to the kitchen. The cabinets were locked and there were no pans available. There was no paper towels. The toilet paper was limited as they only left one roll at a time. This time we were on the 3rd floor which is technically the 4th and there is no elevator. If you are not in good physical condition, it can be a bit much.

Located a bit far from the center which we like. The room we had was so pretty and nice and comfortable. The beds are great, everything is was super clean and they tidied the place every day and provided fresh towels. The internet was good, which I didnt expect in Isla Holbox. The rooftop bar and pool was amazing hangout place!

Breakfast was quite simple but it seems the same everywhere in Mexico. In our bedroom, there’s a ling size “bunk bed” as seen in the pictures. We were slightly bothered by the ladder as it was always blocking the way. All in all it was a really great place!

Casa Astral was fantastic, beautiful and welcoming, it really felt like a home away from home. Each room had their own mini-split AC unit with individual temp controls. We were in Holbox as Hurricane Beryl was hitting the Yucatan, and we felt comfortable and safe with the building construction and foundation being very solid, concrete all around. The staff... I can not say enough about how amazing the staff is. Incredible humans, so very kind, always ready with a smile to help with anything. We felt as though we had known Angel and Lorena (reception). My husband and I wanted to speak Spanish as much as possible, there was no need, as their English was excellent! The continental breakfast was absolutely delicious; fresh fruit, toast, yogurt, granola and delicious coffee! The additional breakfast and lunches were amazing. After the storm they went out of their way to make sure we were fed and had everything we needed. There was a shortage of some food deliveries, as would be expected, but the staff did not miss a beat. They improvised and created amazing food for us they were able. Again - delicious! Our server, Gabino was also excellent, always very polite, courteous, fun and funny. We often kept him at our table chatting, in our mix of Spanish and English, all of us helping each other in the foreign tongue. He was always with a smile and on top of our needs and making sure we had what we wanted. We absolutely LOVED Casa Astral and all of the things that went with it.

the Mosquitos - but this is not the hotel's fault! They did all they could to help combat this. They had their fans going, kept their area and sand well groomed and manicured as much as they could. Also they had bug spray if you needed. The mosquitos are all over the island.

The hotel was nice, great design, great bed, the shower was perfect (nice water pressure), good value for money

The location is not that good, walk of 10-15 minutes to city centre. There was no fridge in the room and overall the room felt so tiny.

The hotel is really nice and confortable, the location is perfect if you want to be close to the beach. The staff is friendly and helpful. Fernanda always provided information and guidance about locations and restaurants. To avoid flooded streets, you can walk along the coastline by the beach. This could get you anywhere. This is a great place to stay will recommend 100%

The rooftop bar area was closed during our stay, however, Fernanda provided accommodations for us. Breakfast is fruit, yogurt, bread, and coffee, nothing wrong with this, but you might need something else later.

Great hotel! We had a junior suite, it was lovingly and hygenically furnished in every detail. Room service cleaned every day on request, changed towels, washed dishes and took out trash. They always responded to additional requests. The hotel is 50m from the beach and beach towels are included. On the roof there is a bar, pool and relaxation area. The bartender is very nice and makes great drinks. Sunset-view is a amazing from the rooftop pool. The hotel is a bit away from the center but within 5min walking distance. In general, the service of the hotel is GREAT! Particularly noteworthy is Victor! A great person who cares lovingly for each and every guest. He has excellent tips and is very helpful. We liked it so much that we even extended our stay by 3 days (again, Victor took care of everything). Thank you Casa Astral Luxury Hotel! Thank you Victor and team! :)

The hotel is really comfortable and clean. Our room was perfectly prepared for our arrival. They even remembered to cool it down :) The stuff was amazing: every day ladies in the lobby greeted us with a smile and a little chat, so after couple of days we felt like home. Our room was being perfectly cleaned every day. The hotel has a nice pool on the roof, with hammocks and nice chairs. And the place is just 100 meters from the ocean, and in 2-3-minutes walking distance from a beach. We had a great staying!

A beautiful hotel in a great location right on the beach but away from the hustle and bustle of town but close enough to walk to and from to enjoy the bars and restaurants. My room was a good size, lovely and clean, comfy bed, great shower, I slept really well. Breakfast was tasty and all the staff were so genuinely friendly and helpful.

Although breakfast was nice, it could have been a bit more substantial and with a bit more choice of food items.

Excellent journey in this hotel. I saw some bad comments on booking before to book, but finally i decided to do it and i was right !! The staff was welcoming, the rooftop is amazing and there is a good bartender coming at 12 ! So you can have drink during the day ! The room was a little bit small but the confort was good ! It 's important to say when it's good and not only when something bad happened. Great journey in Holbox, great journey in this hotel ! Quality/Price is a 10/10.

Super clean. Really good air con. Location is perfect

Nothing - it was all great. The only thing to be aware of is that it is a little bit of a walk from the main shops and restaraunts - however the scenery for the walk is beautiful so it’s not a problem
