This nice hotel had lots of equipment for cooking and a water machine for you to help yourself to, which was useful! The staff were very friendly. The pool was great too and although it is a bit further out of town the location is quiet and the centre and beach is easily reachable on foot. It's close to the dog refuge too, where you can volunteer to walk dogs too, which was great.

The room was quite dark, shower pressure in our room wasn't brilliant and there was an annoying noise of some kind of machinery in the evening behind room 7 which made it a little more difficult to get to sleep

Not the hotels fault but quite a trek to town due to flooding roads in local area.But was do able and good taxi service back from town.

Good value for your money. The beds are very comfortable. It's great that it has a fridge in the room and a small communal kitchen in the premises. The swimming pool was brilliant. What was really surprising was the internet, it actually worked really well during our stay. I had to work online one day and I was able to do it as opposed as it was expected. I guess WiFi is improving.

The location is kind of far from the prettiest beach and part of the island. The streets around the premises are full of trash, almost all the island is full of trash. It's a petty, the growth of the island has overwhelmed the public services. One night the electricity was gone in the whole island for an hour but I understand that in December and August is very common.

The room was very spacious even with a king bed. The kitchen was a great extra and it was useful to have a fridge and utensils. The shower was also spacious. There was a balcony space for each room with outdoor chairs and a table. The hotel itself is quite small so it's a quiet spot. It's also a few blocks out from the centre so no noise in the evening. It only took around 8 mins to walk to the centre of the town/beach from the hotel. The pool and corridors were always kept clean. The main doors to the hotel are shut at night and you have a key to come and go which made it feel extra secure. Definitely a hidden gem in holbox. I would stay here again.

The hotel is set up as apartments so there is no reception desk. To check in you need to walk in and just find the staff, they seem to live there too.

A very pleasant hotel. We stayed there for 2 nights. Kitchen available, fridge, pleasant staff, pool. For such a short stay, everything suited us. Holbox is great.

For such a short time, we found no downside. The only small minus was that on the first night there was no electricity in the district where the hotel is located until 4.00 a.m. and the air conditioning did not work, but we understand that this is not the owners' fault. Thank you for everything :)

We loved staying at Isla Bonita! It was very calm, we didnt care about the little walk from city Center, it was safe, too. We loved the little kitchen to prepare breakfast and really enjoyed to sit on the balcony in the evening! Thank you for helping us with the luggage and the taxi! We would definitely come back

Great stay at Isla bonita. super comfortable with two beds. shower works well (although it stops being really hot after a couple minutes), there's a kettle for coffee and tea in the morning. little patio outside. pool area is nice. 5 min walk from center of holbox. Really clean and staff was really nice.

shower water stops being hot after a couple minutes. staff is super nice but doesn't speak English so be prepared to say a few words in Spanish.

Clean rooms with a fair distance from the main square so it was quiet enough at the end of the day.

The surroundings of the property were quite run down and dirty, Holbox is generally like this in places.

Great location. A short walk to town center. Lovely room with all needed for a comfortable stay. Cool market nearby. Economic stay was excellent.

Not much I didn’t like. Perhaps the place could have a communal bicycle to make short trips.
