We stayed at this hotel for two weeks and had a great experience. The location is very convenient—situated on Al-Maha Street, it’s surrounded by various shops, supermarkets, and restaurants. It also offers easy access to the Muscat Express Road and Sultan Qaboos Main Road, making it ideal for exploring Muscat’s main attractions. The staff were friendly, professional, and always attentive to our needs. A special salute to the reception team for their excellent service!

The hotel furniture is somewhat outdated and could benefit from refurbishment. Additionally, the lighting in the rooms is a bit dim; it would be great if it were improved to make the rooms feel brighter and more welcoming.

The stay was great, the staff was friendly and helpful in everything. Everything could be resolved, for example, early check-in and late check-out. We received new water for each member of the room every day. There was always room cleaning as well. The rooms were equipped as expected. Everything was clean, but it showed signs of use. The breakfasts were excellent and varied; however, there was a problem with the service during breakfast, as it was clear that one employee could not manage it. This repeated for three days, and then there were two employees, and everything worked smoothly again. The price-performance ratio was great.

I had a pleasant 2-night stay at Centara Life Muscat Dunes Hotel from May 9 to May 11. The property is well-maintained and located conveniently close to key areas in Muscat. The staff was courteous and responsive throughout my stay, and check-in/check-out procedures were smooth. The room was clean, modern, and comfortable, with all essential amenities provided. I especially appreciated the peaceful ambiance and good air conditioning — perfect for the Muscat climate. Breakfast was decent with a modest variety, though there's room for improvement in the freshness and range of options. Housekeeping service was consistent and efficient. Overall, a comfortable and convenient choice for a short stay in Muscat. Would consider returning on future visits.

Pool is not suitable for Kids as its 1.53 M depth at all levels

Value for money. Very clean room, well maintained by the housekeeping staff. Location: plenty of restaurants, grocery stores, rent a car, laundry shop, barbers around. the Room: comfy bed, perfect room temperature, toilet and shower. kitchen: i didnt check though if the stove is working, fridge and kettle with complimentary water, coffee&tea. The bfast was included in my booking. I love the breakfast, plenty of options to choose from. My favorite was the croissant. special thanks to the approachable staff who works hard to give quality service: Mr Subodh, kumar & sulaiman at the reception and mr sohabe at the restaurant. I had great stay and will consider to stay here again.

The kitchen needs cookwares and other utensils. But maybe thats available for request (unsure of it coz i didnt need to cook since so many restaurants outside and ordering online is also convenient).

Everything was picture perfect! The staff were very very kind and helping, especially Mr. Kumar (at the reception area).. The room was very clean with a nice view! The pool was also very nice and clean, except for the last day of our resort which required a bit cleaning.. But it was ok.. The breakfast was also very delicious with lots of options. overall, the hotel and the experience was really outstanding with regard to the low cost compared to other hotels. I want to thank all the staff, and the manager of the hotel for such valuable experience.

I liked everything.

The property boasts a superb location with convenient on-site parking. Its main road position offers excellent visibility and proximity to numerous shops. Prayer room facility available, spa + swimming pool available but was closed when we arrived just before 9pm. Room was super clean, cold AC. Fresh towels and clean shower and bathroom. Shower 🚿 speed was superb and hot water. Complimentary water etc was in room which was helpful. Front reception staff was extremely helpful and excellent mannerism. Highly recommended especially when exploring through Oman. Location is 10/10.

Breakfast variety could be a little more.

Everything! We were supposed to stay only 2 night and we ended up staying 5! The hotel has a great value for what we can have: very good breakfast, the fitness center has great conditions and the swimming pool is also nice! The location is good as the distance to sultan mosque and airport and the staff are all super kind and friendly!!!! There are plenty of restaurants and supermarkets nearby. I stayed one night alone and as a women solo traveler I didn’t feel any discomfort or fear! Highly recommend

Fridges make a small noise and during the night might be a nuisance for some people.

- Much better than expected. - Fairly big room, cleanliness was okay. - Rooftop pool area looked nice, good view - however, we haven't tried to pool out. - Very nice staff. - Our room was cleaned daily. - Water provided; little fridge & kettle in the room. - The breakfast was AMAZING - great selection. It was in normal breakfast times even during Ramadan. - It was a great great value for money, I would recommend staying here when you're on budget - this place truly exceeded my expectations. The hotel had everything that we needed. :)

I had a good stay at this hotel. The room was cozy and quiet, and the staff were friendly and helpful. When we arrived, our room was on a smoking floor. However, the staff kindly moved us to a non-smoking floor, which we truly appreciated. The hotel’s location was also convenient.

There were two small issues: the lighting in the room was low, which made it feel a bit dim, and the bathroom was relatively small. These were minor things, though, and overall we were happy with our stay and would recommend this hotel to others.
