The pool and beach facilities were amazing. The location was right next to the beautiful old town. We were given a 2 storey villa, so had lots of room to spread out and relax. The air conditioning worked well in both rooms and the shower was powerful with plenty of hot water. If we wanted the room cleaned/towels refreshed (we chose every 3 days), we only had to put the note on the room door and it was done. The view from the balcony over the sea and the old town was spectacular. We found the staff to be pleasant and helpful and there was a plentiful choice at the breakfast buffet, which was great for a 14 night stay!

Very clean, plenty of spacious, comfortable public areas to relax in if you wanted. The location was superb. The breakfast was plentiful, very varied and well laid out in a spacious restaurant. The staff were all very pleasant. We had booked a sea facing room with balcony but was upgraded to a suite which was, of course, a lovely treat and the room was fantastic. Snacks and drinks around the pool and beach were reasonably priced, between 3.5 to 4.5 euros for a beer depending on size and type, approx 2 euros for a coffee.

The hotel had policy that you couldn’t take your own food and drink into the rooms or the pool/ beach areas. People still did take their own water and no one really said anything if you were discreet about it. The room had no tea or coffee facilities which was a shame as you either had to splash out on room service for a coffee in bed or go to the restaurant when it opened. This is the only reason I gave it a 9 instead of a 10. Despite this, the overall stay was excellent.

The great location only 100 meters from the old town and 200 meters to the port as we took a boat tour one day and the ferry to Dubrovnik the last day. We had booked this hotel especially for it’s very excellent location. Upon arrival we were blown away at the elegance of the property. The reception area was royal and we were treated royally by the reception staff. I had requested a room on the lower level and they accommodated me by giving us an amazing suite on the main level near the reception . The receptionist checked us in then helped us with our luggage and accompanied us to our room. We were blown away at how fancy our suite was. It had a great seating area with very comfortable couches , a minibar, lots of cupboards , then another huge room with 2 beds , 2 desks and chairs and a huge bathroom with a bathtub , shower toilet and a bidet. It also had a balcony with comfy seating. The swimming pool area was amazingly beautiful with a great view of the fabulous view of the old town on one side and the Adriatic Sea all around. The pools were so lovely and we were able to order food and drinks by the pool. The umbrellas and chairs were free and plenty were available the 2 days we were there. I had a great buffet dinner with many choices and delicious dishes at their lovely restaurant for only 25 euros.

What I did not like was the very difficult access to the sea at the beach. For younger people who are fit they could walk on the pier and jump into the water with ease and use the ladder to get out with ease but not for an older person with some accessibility issues like myself. I also could not get into the sea even with my aqua shoes as there are huge Rocks in the water that have algae and therefore very slippery . The beach offers free towels and free chairs and umbrellas for the guests which was great , however there was a very strong sewage smell which made us want to leave. The beach was packed with chairs and umbrellas. Again not the hotel’s fault since this was July and the high season.

We we're lucky enough to get upgraded to the luxury suite, which was incredible The breakfast was very good, and had a great number of options for both the meat-eater and vegan alike (also noticed gluten free options) The pool is fantastic! I prefer swimming in the ocean, but the view from the outdoor pool had even me convinced! :D

It's a small thing, but the terrace flooring definitely needed some upkeep. Not a problem for two adults, but I would have been concerned, if travelling with young children.

Outstanding hotel. Amazing location- right outside the old town and with views of the sea. Spa was enjoyable. Room was super nice and seemed brand new. Staff are fantastic.

Location was excellent. Fantastic views, probably worth splashing out on the grand Avala rooms overlooking the old town.

Staff could have been more attentive and nicer. Pool was excellent but due to its design there wasn’t much space around it.

The best hotel in Montenegro near the old town. We lived in the amazing 2 levels penthouse room with a wide terrace, with a stunning view of the old city and the bay. Checked in early, upgrading room, as soon as we arrived. Everything was great in the hotel: location, nearby restaurants and shops, it has its own access to the beach, provide sunbeds and towels. Carefully cleaned the room every day, snow white bathrobes and linen, served breakfast, delicious cafe on the beach, pool, spa and sauna, everything was comfortable. Thank you very much Milka on the reception for hospitality and attentiveness. She greeted us warmly, so there were pleasant impressions and memories. And to all the staff of the hotel for the excellent comfort!
