My family and I booked in last minute.. Staff at the reception was excellent as I reserved 2 rooms short notice and to be close by each other.. Staff recommended the rooms next to each other with door opening to 2nd room.. But I decided to take Room 8 & 12 as my parents are older and easier to walk to ( Rm 8 ) Staff gave Milk ⭐️ Room overall is good value for your dollar!. Comfortable bed, everything you need for your stay ✌🏽

So my kids are glue to their gadgets normally when they know we’re staying for the night.. Wifi was a little on the poor side.. Would connect then disconnect, Staff gave 100gigs coupons for wifi. But we went out before resting and lost that coupon… But can connect to wifi but doesn’t last long. So I kinda brought unlimited data with my plan on my phone.. And that was fixed but overall great stay, Staff was awesome.. And honestly would book again in future.

The location was great, facilities were what was expected, it was quiet even though it is on a main road.

The room was a bit cold, but it was a freezing wet day. It would have been good to have the heater on earlier. The heater cord wasn't that long so it had to be put on the bench top or right next to the bed which was a fire hazard. There were a couple of stains/cracks in the Spa bath so didn't want to use the bath incase there were other germs unseen.

Everything was really good very impressed with the cleanliness The managers were so lovely I was a bit grumpy when I left because of the lack of sleep which wasn’t the managers fault Sorry managers such lovely people.

The place whilst clean and very comfy was dated and our room was quite dark it could do with a lighter colour and modernising but having said that I was very comfy it met our needs I WOULD RECOMMEND TO OTHERS it’s a great central location and easy access

The parking needs lines painted, other guests parked silly. We had to park on the grass behind our unit. Reception male said my credit card declined. In actual fact, my card was quite topped up. I think you mistyped my account number. I slipped over in the shower. Once the soap rinsed off into the bottom of the shower, it became slippery. I'm all good, though. No pain. Just my pride 🤣🤣🤣 Our rolled up face cloths had dead moths on them, probably blown in by the open window.

Clean and comfortable. I really liked not having to wash the dishes.

We advised that we would be arriving between 7 and 8pm and this was approved by the motel. When we got there at 7.30pm the office was closed, but did answer when we knocked. To be fair Cortez did try to ring us but large parts of the roads we were on had no cell coverage. They were wondering when we didn't answer if we weren't genuine. We did say what time we would arrive and they did agree. I think they were a little suspicious because booking.com omitted our credit card from the booking details, but that was no fault of ours.

From the moment we arrived everything was great, check in was quick and easy. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Our room was super clean and tidy and had everything we needed,we totally loved the room. The biggest draw card was the pool which was just big enough and refreshing after a day of travelling. Thank you very much to the staff, we will definitely be back to stay again.

Easy to find, great signage, easy to check in, friendly hosts, clean modern facilities, great shower gel and shampoo!

The only thing that we found was the tv remote was missing the volume keys and there were no buttons that we could find on the actual tv, so we couldn’t turn the volume down at all. So when my daughter went to bed in the other room, the tv had to turn off.

The checking in process was simple and straightforward with great communication from the initial online booking with a follow up phone confirmation. The room was clean, with everything we needed to have a comfortable stay. The spa bath was fabulous. The cleaning person was so friendly and professional. Great location and we didn't even notice the noise from traffic in spite of being on the main road. Good parking as well.

Very convenient to where I needed to be for work. Ample of free parking is a bonus. Room was very big and well equipped.

Due to no aircon the only way to get relieve from the heat is to open windows, use the fan. Sadly (and I know this is not the property's fault) this was made hard by room neighbours with a nasty smoking habit who came to sit right outside the window. maybe no smoking on premises or a smoking area away from other rooms would be an option.

It's was clean and the hosts and the workers were lovely. We were there only over night but it was great for our needs. I had a spa bath my needs were met👍🏾 Loved it, it was sooo what I needed!

Completely out of their control as there were road works happening right outside & the road workers cut the power. So we couldn't shower. Had the road workers told the Motel they were turning the power off at 9am we would of showered before 9. But not Cortez fault I had to sit in the car with my smelly sister to Auckland 🤣🤣
