First off, the staff is the best in the world, and we have stayed many places. So many smiles and so helpful. Secondly, so clean. Third, the most comfy beds ever. Fourth, great comfort items, ez tv and internet. Fifth, location, near everything in northern WV, Cheat Lake, WVU, Coopers Rock, other state parks, trails, travel and hikes! We are planning another trip to stay here,

I came here to stay because my daughter had a softball tournament in (granville) Morgantown. The other hotels I looked at cost more for one night than this one did for 2 nights. I loved the location because when we had extra time we were able to go to Cooper's Rock and Cheat Lake and do activities in nature instead of being in town and not having as much to do. The place was a little on the older side, but it was very clean and comfortable and so quiet compared to others where you hear doors slamming all night. And the indoor pool was also great and no one was their either time we went. I'm not gonna lie. I booked this hotel and then read all of the reviews and considered canceling it because of the reviews, but I decided to stay with it, and I'm so glad I did. We spend a lot of weekends at hotels for softball tournaments. This is the third hotel in a month and a half and by far the best stay we've had!! It's about a 25 mins drive to granville to the ballfield, but with the beautiful views of the lake and all of the things to do made it worth it!!

I have zero complaints at all. This place was absolutely great!!! Great prices, beautiful views, and plenty of outdoor activities, but you're still not far from town.

I booked here at the last minute and the price for the room was the best around the area. When I got to the property, I was told they'd have to upgrade my room to a condo. That in and of itself was a welcomed relief, as I had been driving for 13 hrs and just wanted to get some rest. Although I used little more than a bed and bathroom, it was quite a nice experience and I will now seek this place out when in the area..

Got an upgrade from my room to a 2 bed, 2.5 bath condo since the hotel is currently being renovated. Staff was great and willing to answer any questions at check in. I didnt interact with them after since i was in a lone condo, as opposed to the hotel. Thecondo itself was quite spacious, well equipped with full kitchen, washer and dryer, as well as a very comfortable master bed, and furniture.

The condo itself was a little rundown/dated. While still very comfortable, wallpaper was starting to peel a bit in places, and the carpet was fairly tattered in a few spots. Also, many of the vents were rather dusty, but again, this is the off-season so I'm sure that there's less staff around to deep clean/turn over rooms, so not the end of the world. Of course, these condos are pre-renovation, so it's to be expected that they'll be a bot lacking cosmetically. I have no doubt that these will be top notch once renovated! Very small gripe, but the soap/shampoo in the room were pretty poor, left my skin super dry even just washing my hands.

The privacy. Out of the hustle and bustle.

There were people across our hall that kept us up all night long both nights we stayed at the hotel. They fought all night long and pounded on the door of the hotel all hours of the night. We did not sleep at all. Security had to be called both nights. It was not a classy scene.

The room was clean and comfortable. Indoor pool is nice and the bar and restaurant at the hotel is nice. The golf course is very nice and it also has a nice fitness center.

My room was far away from the pleasures of the hotel. The breakfast bar could be better.

Every staff member went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable.

Our room floor hadn't been vacuumed, we noticed peanuts, hair, rubber bands and a few other things that made it clear it was not cleaned. The rest of the room was good.

I thought the location was great. I also thought the price was really affordable.

I thought the room was a little dated however, we just needed a place to stay the night before my daughter had surgery. It was clean and had a pool so it worked great.

Always enjoy staying here, we were upgraded to a condo during our stay and it was lovely! Great location and plenty around to do

We had some internet issues with the wifi during our stay.

It was all clean, no bad smell. Good sized rooms. Great price compared to other hotels in the area.

The roadways around the resort had a lot of potholes. The rooms do not have a refrigerator.
