The staff were lovely and very helpful, especially when we requested we leave our luggage in the office so we could go out to the beach for a few hours. The waffles were great. We stayed in the "honeymoon suite" which had 2 rooms and a nice balcony. Right next door was the best diner, Ocean Diner, and Trader Joe's is a stone's throw. The beach was a 15 minute walk, and the library was a 5 minute walk.

Hermosa Beach has alot of humidity, so the carpet and the furniture have a musty smell. The screens were broken on the doors. The jets didn't work in the jacuzzi tub. The breakfast could have used some more fresh fruit. But, for the price, we couldn't complain. The staff were really nice and the location was perfect.

The pool area was well kept, and the lobby was clean. I’ve was easy to access and even though there was a large group of children staying for a baseball tournament, my room was quiet. The Mountain views were really nice 🙂

It could use some upgrades. The bathroom wasn’t clean particularly on the walls where the trash cans sit, there was dried blood. The pillows were not good

I arrived a bit later than I wanted to but the staff was so friendly and professional to get me checked in so quick.

The room had a faint smell, it wasn’t bad but it wasn’t good either. Just like a room that hasn’t been used in a while you know? Everything looked clean but just the first impression was that. Also I told the FD person on my way out that the shower pressure was very weak, and the temperature was inconsistent which made my morning shower quite difficult and uncomfortable. I hope they get that fixed soon.

The lobby was pretty and staff was nice. We stayed for a few days and most hotels knock on your door every day for housekeeping but this one did not. Which was amazing, but when we needed anything the front desk was very accommodating. This hotel is located close to a busy Rd and highway but never heard traffic and was very quiet and peaceful.

Need more options in the little store in the lobby. Very great idea since vending machines always mess up but only had about a handful of options.

This is my 3rd time at this hotel and it seems to improve each time. Room was clean and well furnished. Breakfast was much improved from the last time I was here. Restaurant attached to hotel is now open.

Road and parking lot are still in bad condition. No elevator for 2nd floor rooms. Hallways need renovation.

This was a decent hotel for the price. The bed was comfortable, the rooms were clean. The hotel has been recently updated and it looks very nice. The pool was clean and inviting, unfortunately, it started to storm and I was not able to enjoy it. The staff was nice. I work in and out of this area and I will be back.

The coffee bar is less than desirable. There was only one carafe and you had to repeatedly pump it to get coffee to come out and there was a line waiting to get the coffee. I ended up going back to my room and using the coffee pot there. There were no sugar substitutes and no flavored creamers. That is really the only complaint I have.

We loved the location which was conveniently off the highway, the staff was extremely nice, and check in/check in was so simple. The rooms was kept and mostly clean. You can’t beat the value of the stay!

To be honest, the coffee was disappointing and the common areas were in need of a more deep clean. Other than that we really enjoyed our stay!

My favorite part was meeting mama the kitty cat. She is so sweet. I lost both of my kitties recently and meeting her and the love she showed my made my day. Room was great. Breakfast was well lets just say I ate a prepackaged muffin and a glass of juice.

The staff was amazing and super friendly check in was a breeze. One girl was in training and she was so sweet we didn’t mind her taking time to ask questions. We were from out of town so I think that made it a bit more confusing.

Breakfast could have used more selection and kid friendly items. Maybe fresh fruits or fruitloops and maybe some sort of meat. I heard one family say a couple of their kids couldn’t eat anything because they couldn’t have dairy and all the items available contained milk or egg.

It was updated, good TV, quiet. Just what I needed at a decent price!

Could be a little cleaner, there was dirt on the ridge of the front of the bathtub where they miss cleaning. The phone didn’t work and the hairdryer didn’t work. But they brought a new hairdryer in for me.
