A very pleasant place the only thing is the amount of snakes on the walkway to restaurant which was a bit disturbing for my wife

Look and feel. Nature at the centre with our South African tribes also strongly represented. Lovely touch! Trainee at reception is an amazing personality and attitude. Perfect person to engage with after a long trip. I also lost my way to the venue and she was super accommodating and patient. Left my bank card at the dinner table and the amazing staff kept it safe until I returned in the morning. Peace of mind with such honest people.

No wifi or television. I understand the concept of disconnecting from technology for a while but at least have wifi + tv available in one or two rooms.

When i was there i think the the building the painting showing African art and learning about different leaders of different Nations ,the fire place just the traditional set thumps up

The location in the google map is bad takes you straoght to Bonamanzi gate and the visibility i think you still need 2 or 3 sign boards

The staff were exceptional. Bhekie the maintenance gentleman is such a wonderful person. He ensured that we had what we needed during our stay. Reception and restaurant staff were also so accommodating. Wish the restaurant catered single meals as some of us don't have big appetite. I requested for a portion of dessert and was told R150 per person for peppermint tart and fruit salard. Overall the facility had a lovely facilities and was a very relaxing stay

Masisi at Reception was amazing, very friendly and helpful. An excellent peoples person, happy and helpful. Joyce made some great tasty meals and is also a very friendly warm staff member. The rest of the pub and kitchen team were also all great. Room, linen and bed quality excellent.

Room shower not draining properly. Aircon blue light at night not great for sleep. Squeaky toilet door. Main door difficult to open/lock. Pub mens toilets needs maintenance and TLC.

We were traveling group of 9 people around 4 countries. We booked Gooderson DumaZulu Lodge beacuse of references and photos. We were not disappointed. Everything was just great: the setting itself, green garden, big huts, pool and the romantic walk trhough wooden path to restaurant. The dinner was excellent, everything fresh and tasty. Breakfast perfect as well. After breakfast we took a show at cultural village (including dances and songs). We highly recommend visit at this lodge.

Although you advertise that you have a restaurant there was no choice when it came to dinner. It was an extremely limited buffet.

Everything was good actually but the food they prepared for us was excellent 👌 and honestly we couldn't believe it, it was a 5-star rating level food.

Nothing except water they gave us some allergies but we have very sensitive skin.

Breakfast was delicious, no complaints. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Thank you for a excellent service. Well done!
