As always the staff and owners welcome you like family. Every time we stay there it is memorable. The Bushbaby feeding at night remains a highlight of our stay. We had to leave very early the next morning to go to Mkhuze Game Reserve and the owner assured us it is not a problem. At the gate there is a little post box where we could leave our keys and so we did not have to bother anyone when leaving. I love the owners, they are warm caring people.

That we could not have stayed longer but we had a lot of things we wanted to do in a short period of time during my daughters visit.

Really friendly staff make you feel right at home, a special shout out to Rosie, you were amazing! Room and facilities cleaned everyday to a high standard. Amazing location with loads to do around (Phinda reserve 30mins away, HiP reserve 25 mins, shops 10 mins, cheetah sanctuary 5mins, Snake Pharm 5 mins, etc.). And value for money is like nowhere else! Also can't forget to mention the Bushbaby feeding every night.

The chalets are lovely, warm and comfortable. The communal kitchen was clean and easily accessible. Bushbaby offers a relaxing atmosphere where it's easy to de-stress. All the amenities you need are available and staff and owners are friendly and helpful

The property was amazing. We saw bush babies while eating an incredible home cooked meal (we got to take our leftovers to our chalet). Meals can be provided for a price if they are notified in a timely manner. The owners and other guests were so welcoming! We truly felt like family! Thandi & Pim are amazing hosts. We saw zebra the first night. The Nyala were epic! The prices can't be beat. We chose to have shared facilities and was amazed at how nice they were even for backpacking standards. Some of the staff walked with us to a Cheetah preserve around the corner...SO NICE!! There were children my son could play with. They were delightful. The next time I'm in KZN I will definitely stay here again!

Load shedding & Transportation. But that's not because of the lodge, that's just the location and how local power & transport works.

Loved the camping and social vibe and rooftop bar. Very friendly staff. Watched them feed the bushbabies. The budget room was spacious and comfy with verandah. The pool area and cottages were in a lovely setting. Good ablutions and communal kitchen . Host was very accommodating.

Should have a sign to Bushbabies at the Bushlands turnoff .

Excellent breakfast and dinner, be sure to make the reservation for dinner before 16.00 hrs. I stayed 5 days. The lodge is not far from iMfolozi park , the Cheetah project and iSimangaliso Wetland park. I enjoyed it a lot, great stay.!

The location is great. Staff all very friendly & helpful. Peaceful surroundings & lovely forest

The swimming pool was not very clean. The communal kitchens were very clean but could be better equipped. No pots& very basic utensils

Excellent reception, very friendly and accomodating. Breakfast was good. Beautiful setting. Everything was very well run and efficient. Ablutions were very clean and neat and room was clean.

Would like to have coffee/tea as an option in the room as there is a kettle, but I did not have any coffee or tea to make in the room. The entrance door had frosted glass on the top panel and the outside light shone through during the night which kept me awake - would suggest a blind or something to cover that as an option for the guest.

The hose was very friendly and its so nice going away, knowing I can take my small dog and she is safe and welcome.

Very nice accommodation with friendly and helpful owner and staff. We had a perfect rest. And the experience with the Bushbabies was really fascinating! Thank You a lot!
