The rooms were clean. The property is very well kept and clean. We loved sitting at the main sitting area which is very cosy. The pool is cleaned daily and is clean. The staff was very helpful especially Rebecca who went out of the way to answer any questions we had about our next Dec stay. Nyaradzo was also very helpful. We loved staying here that we extended our stay by another day.

The food tasted good , however, I feel they could have be a bit more options both on ala carte menu and buffet. But otherwise the taste of each dish we ate was very good. Can’t fault it.

Loved everything about the property! We stayed at Windfall Cottage and it was amazing! So quiet and tranquil and what a delight to wake up in the morning to zebra and impala grazing in the front yard! Drive to St Lucia was great. We did the Imfolozi Game drive provided by the hotel and our guide was exceptional.

Everything was really awesome. The Cat Project is interesting. Didn't like how they let people get in the pens to take pictures. The tour I went on had several really small children whose parents allowed them to run around and chase the wild cats.

Room 45 was outstanding! Spacious, modern and very clean, with an extremely comfortable bed and lovely bathroom.

In an upmarket room it was disappointing that there were only two little 20 ml Parmalat milk sachets. These were just enough for one cup of tea. Also penny pinching was the five tiny shortbread nibbles in a huge jar. Two rusks would have been fine. The toilet seat was thin, cheap plastic. All the above contrasted with beautiful luxurious bath towels, a super shower and bed, etc.

I like the nature it’s in a very quite and cossy area far from the city noise and very family friendly and I also like the fact that it has a pool and play area with table tennis and snooker also it has area for the kids to ply as well, there a big area to sit and chill and they provide breakfast as well.

The 2 receptions as we waited a bit on the wrong reception area but we were later informed that the one we waiting on was for day visitors and the other one is for check ins so there was no clear directions from the security,but the receptionist apologised and explained.

The staff were excellent. Extremely friendly and helpful. The food; breakfast, our packed lunches and dinner were really really superb. The cheetah location attached to the lodge was awesome. The 2 guides were very knowledgable and professional. It was so good we went back a second time. Our dinner locations changed every night and the staff really did make such a great effort . A really fantastic lodge with fantastic people!

There was nothing not to like.

The entire staff was exceptional. It was like being with family. It was the staff that tranformed our stay into an experience. We are, because of the exceptional staff at Emdoneni presently planning our return. The Chateau was perfect. The dinner menu was composed of fresh ingredients ie fruits and vegetables, prepared deliciously. Upon learning that we were vegetarian, the Chef prepared a marvelous dish just for us.

Only aspect we did not like was the fact that our stay was so short.

Everything! The staff were absolutely lovely, the venue was stunning. The food was delicious. Our room was clean and looked beautiful. There were zebra and various buck that can be seen around the property. The cat tour is an absolute must! The guides are extremely knowledgeable and the cats were amazing. It was truly a memorable experience and we would do it again. Already mentally planning our next trip there! :)

The room we had had 2 single beds that were next to each other (which was fine) but also had 2 single blankets instead of a double like we had expected, based on images we had seen. There did not seem to be any back up power for loadshedding.

The Lodge is quite and peaceful, the staff are friendly and accommodating. I loved the interaction with the Cats, Tymone and his team are both knowledgeable and entertaining.

I wish I'd known that the park could only be accessed via 20 min drive on the freeway in the open game vehicle. Forewarned is forearmed.

Not far from the main off ramp, very minimal gravel driving. Interaction with cheetah 🐆 and other wild cats was the best. The employees are the best they are friendly and will do anything to make your stay comfortable.

Property needs some damp proofing, the chalets small of mould, it is in the bushes however maybe once in a year check some dampness and mitigate

Stayed in a beautiful bungalow, big windows and outside shower! It was close to the Cat Sanctuary which was purpose of our visit. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Learned a lot about the work being done with the Cats.

We didn’t find much else to view within a short distance from the lodge, but our main purpose was to see the Cheetahs.
