Large spacious room, overlooking the natural hot tub on the back deck and the farm beyond. Common areas were superb-large dining table, well stocked kitchen (a little tight with more than two guests trying to cook at a time), large living room with comfortable leather couches. Outside sitting areas that we could not enjoy due to rain and wind:(

Hot tub needed a scrub. Kitchen was for guests in the guesthouse as well as the main house-got busy at times.

Nice accomodation in very good location. The owners were nice and very flexible. We were only stayed for one night and that place perfectly suited our needs.

One small issue was the bathroom with toilet which was shared between about 10 people. Perhaps there should have been an additional toilet to serve everyone on time during the morning "rush period".

Either the hot tub was broken or it didn't exist. The host was very brief. Sharing the WC with 3 rooms (up to 9 people, I think) was fine, but it would be better if the hair dryer and a sink were not only in the WC as well. Not a problem, but just an FYI that all the rooms in our building were up a steep flight of stairs. Not for everyone.

The guesthouse was easy to get to and along our planned route. Breakfast was quite good with good selections. Nice bucolic setting.

We arrived later on a holiday. Just late enough to miss restaurant meals not so far away. We made do with food from a small grocery nearby. Not the proprietor’s fault. It would have been quite bad without the grocery.

Lovely views ! There was chilled water as well as hot water for tea or coffee available .

Our room was on the third floor up a very steep staircase and the bathroom was on second floor . It was nice and quiet and very private.The kitchen was in another side building which wasn’t convenient .

The property was accessible, the rooms very clean, the stay was comfortable and affordable. The property is close to the Secret Lagoon and at short distance from to other attractions The free WI FI 100% functional, free parking OK.

Kitchen well equipped, but a paper roll and some kitchen drying napkins were needed to dry the washed dishes (they were missing). The single room booked should have had access to a hot tub (stated in the booking confirmation). We were not guided/invited to it, and not knowing the status of such a facility, we did not enjoy it Suggestion a TV screen in the room-though not promised in the booking contract- could be a welcome bonus.

Blackout curtains were not that dark. My mom hit her head 5 times in the room due to the sloping roof. and she is very short, 153 cm. The oven was left dirty by the previous tenants, so the smell was a bit bad.

Guesthouse as a guesthouse should be. Has two houses: one with the kitchen and one with bedrooms/bathroom on the second floor. Kitchen is fully equipped and we were greeted by the owner. Beds are very good. Free coffee/tea available.

Shower on the top floor is in a bath and the showerhead cannot be fixed on 'standing' height.

Guest house in rural area in farmland with spacious views all around. Super quiet, had the house to ourselves. Nice & clean kitchen facilities in adjacent house. Common area was pleasant with comfy couch. Plenty of parking. No complaints, great place to recharge to continue our exploration of Iceland. Restaurants and other stores are about a 8min drive to town.

We only stayed for one night but would love to stay longer in the future! The host was very kind, and breakfast was plentiful. The surroundings are absolutely stunning. Even with just one night we enjoyed a soak in the hot tub in the evening and a bounce on the trampoline in the morning. Could absolutely spend a week here.
