The Host: Exceptionally friendly and hospitable — one of the best we've met. Very flexible with late check-in and check-out, thoughtful with welcome gifts, and impressively responsive (resolved a minor issue within an hour on a Sunday evening). Also provided great local tips. The Apartment: Like new, spotlessly clean. Fully equipped with everything we needed. The AC was great — based on our experience, a rare find in Greece where outdoor units are often noisy. Though some reviews mention traffic noise, our apartment faced a side street and was very quiet. I'm a light sleeper, but had no problems at all.

The owner, Irini, was very kind and helpful from the beginning waiting for us to check in and personally showing us our apartment and later checking in if we were ok, if we needed anything, and also recommending where to visit and when. The apartment was perfect - modern, clean, comfortable, great location. We loved having the little balcony to enjoy breakfast on facing the pool and mountains. Pool area was great - clean and quiet - perfect for relaxing! Beach was also so close - 2min walk, just had to cross the main road! Also lots of shops and cute restaurants within walking distances, as well as mini golf and arcades. We also appreciated the private, off-street parking behind the property.

Nothing - everything was perfect!

Small peacefull hotel. The rooms were big enough and clean with a small balcony. It had chairs, table and a drying rack. A lovely family runned the place. They were warm, welcoming and very helpful. We loved the poolarea in the backyard. It was clean and very quiet. It was enough sunbeads, and we had the wole pool to our self a lot of the times. The area had everything you need with restaurants, shops, supermarked and a bakery. You just had to cross the Road to go to the beach. We highly recommend this place!! No more big overcrowded hotels ever again!

We loved it all

The staff are very friendly. My two yound boys love hanging out at the lobby and chatting with the owner. They run downstairs to the lobby to read and socialize once they wake up in the morning. It was a very safe environment even it sit on a main street. The pool is big and clean. My boys spent alot of time there. The beach is just few minutes across from the hotel. The room is very spacious and clean. The balcony door has good soundproof which blocks all the traffic noise. New and modern renovation. Big parking lot on site. Cafe, bakery, supermarket and bus stop are within 1min radiant. My kids demand to come back to the same place next time Thank you!!!

We had a lovely experience at Irini Apartments in Stalos. The room was clean, spacious, and exactly what we needed for a comfortable stay. Although it's a 2-star hotel, the service felt much higher — the hosts were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our visit. They kindly arranged a late check-in for us, which made our arrival stress-free, and even surprised us with a thoughtful gift at check-out — such a nice gesture! Highly recommended if you're looking for a cozy, clean place with great hospitality close to the beach.

We had a perfect stay at Irini Stalos, the owners are very warm and welcoming people, they made us feel like home. Everything is spotlessly clean, starting from the room and also the pool and outside area. The beach is very close, you only have to cross the road and it is also a good location if you wish to explore the famous beaches of Balos, Falasarna and Elafonissi. Thank you very much Antonis and Irini for welcoming us, we will definitely choose to stay here again when we return to Crete.

+ Irini and Antonis were amazing hosts- nothing was too much trouble for them and we really appreciated their kindness throughout our stay! They gave us a wonderful warm welcome and were so quick to help. + The hotel was spotlessly clean and we loved the beautiful pool area (much larger and nicer than the photos). + Conveniently located for the beach and a handful of really lovely restaurants within walking distance. We also made use of the bus stop into town which is just opposite the hotel. + Great value for money with a lovely fresh breakfast included at nearby cafe run by very friendly staff.

The only thing was the noise from the busy road. Appreciate this would not be such an issue if your room was at the back of the property / if not sensitive to sound. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.

We absolutely loved our stay at IRINI Stalos Apartments. We arrived on a late flight, and Antonis waited for us and showed us to our room. He and his family made us feel so welcome, they would chat to us everyday about what we’d been up to. Nothing was too much trouble. Apartment was like new, modern, spacious, very clean and it had everything we needed for our stay. Beds were made every day. Pool area was clean and quiet. Easy car hire parking on land behind apartments. Kato Stalos beach just over the road. Lots of choice for cafes, tavernas, bars and supermarkets nearby, and the bus stop close by for Chania, bus every 30 minutes. Highly recommend and we will definitely return

They also provided us with great recommendations and handy tips for exploring Crete, which made our trip even more memorable.
