Every area was clean and organized and felt safe. Also, it was within walking distance to the Hermosa Beach- about 22 minutes to walk there and Mapquest says it’s also 22 minutes to walk to Redonda Beach too. Staff responded to every question with concern, and timely satisfactory response. The pool was very nice temperature- indoors but with a lattice type metal in opening in wall- like a big open window. Only concern was it’s across from a Marine shop and while swimming there was a loud pop type weird noise outside that seemed to come from the shop or the street where cars parking nearby. Also the water in hot tub looked slightly yellowing so did not use it. Did not use exercise room although we could see it from pool. I liked the fact that there are only 3 floors so elevator is pretty quick to use. It was a quiet atmosphere inside and outside hotel. Although our room was right next to the main busy thoroughfare, the traffic noise was tolerable (although I did bring lots of earplugs and eye mask plus regular face masks to cover eyes if needed. At one point I did use them for a little while). The view outside room was of a huge car lot for used exotic cars and I could see mechanics working on the cars late into the night. But it still was nice view of the hills and if you go out front you can actually see a big arch nearby saying “Redondo Beach” or Redondo Beach Pier so it must be close by. I also appreciateciated the coffee maker in room, the small refrigerator and very small microwave. There is coffee downstairs too. In morning there’s a pretty good hot and cold breakfast offerings. And we especially appreciated the little snack store inside hotel- it even has microwaveable dinners for sale for $6 and most drinks are $2 to 3 although the coconut water is $5. They will charge it to the room. Our room did not have a bathtub but it did have a shower and lotion, shampoo, conditioner is on the wall. Free parking.

Unfortunately it is not right on the beach but the walk of 22 minutes to beach was pleasant. There is a bit of steep incline on 8th street going to Hermosa Beach though. We took a little detour on the way to check out the cool trail (dog friendly) that had soft bark on the ground to walk on, lots of greenery and trees and community garden with public restrooms nearby.

This was a great Hotel, good size room, good king bed, absolutely fantastic breakfast menu, very well maintained. Very clean, very friendly and helpful staff. Towels were changed and bed made each day. Most food places closed at 9pm, so we tried the Thai, which was the closest to us, and it didn't dissapoint. Great food!

Location was a little out of the way without a car. We did walk to the beach but it was a stretch and hilly. Most food places closed at 9pm.

Signed up for Holiday Inn rewards and they allowed us to check-out late at 2pm. Although the view from our room faced the busy PCH, the combination of room darkening shades and the A/C fan let us get great sleep every night!

It would be nice if they left the breakfast area (tables/chairs) open throughout the day. Wifi was better in that area than in our room.

The location, room, and breakfast are all excellent. The neighborhood is safe and the dove soap is always a nice plus. It was a pleasure to deal with the accommodating and pleasant staff. Covered parking is included and in LA that is definitely a privilege.

The breakfast wasn't always hot and fresh as I remember it. I stayed here in 2019 and I remember the quality of the breakfast being much better.

The beds were extremely comfortable!!! Front desk staff were exceptional!!

Small complaint but thought it’s worth mentioning. Room 243 has a spot in the corner where it appears there was a leak. The ceiling paint is stained and coming away. Otherwise the room was great and very quiet!

Nice location with parking, however the beach was still a 15 minutes walk

The price is very high for this class of hotel. I think it is just the location. I don't like the one-time use plates, cutlery a and cups at the breakfast but that is more a USA thing.

Good value. Met or exceeded my expectations at this price point would stay there again.

Clean, large room. Comfy bed. Close to beach and a fun saloon a couple of minutes walk away. We stayed one night, and it was perfect for that night.

On a major road, so we had a bit of road noise. Blockout blinds were great for the light though!

This ia our 2nd time here,we booked it here because of the location,the cleanliness of the rooms and facility.All front desk are nice

The room is large, very well appointed and nicely decorated. The hotel has laundry facilities, delicious complementary breakfast, coffee round the clock , and a small shop with take out food.
