Staff were friendly and approachable which created a positive atmosphere - always willing to help and go above and beyond. Central location, beside Rotterdam Blaak station. Hotel overlooks old harbour and easy walk into central to Erasmus bridge and harbour. Excellent breakfast with good variety. Water is provided for your room which needs to be collected in the lobby/bar area which is open 24/7 and includes room service. Rooms were small, but had everything needed with a big comfortable bed. I could not fault anything and we had a wonderful stay 10/10 and would stay again. Thank you :)

Our stay at this hotel exceeded all expectations! The cutting-edge modern design was a highlight - sleek, minimalist rooms featured iPad-controlled everything (lights, blinds, TV, temperature!), blending innovation with comfort. It felt like stepping into the future, yet remained incredibly user-friendly. The staff were exceptional - warm, approachable, and always ready to assist. Their hospitality paired perfectly with the hotel’s effortless self check-in/checkout system, which saved us time and made the entire process stress-free. No front-desk queues, just smooth, tech-savvy convenience! And the location? Perfect. Situated in the heart of Rotterdam, we were moments away from bustling cafes, iconic landmarks, and transit hubs.

It was modern yet relaxed, and very well-designed. The room was not very big, which is understandable as a hotel in Rotterdam, but it felt more spacious because of the design. The location is super convenient to go everywhere, the breakfast was also good. (Proper croissant end coffee!) And the staff were helpful and kids-friendly as well. We’ll come back :)

It would have been perfect if we had an electric kettle for coffee/tea (as I was traveling a young child, whom I can’t leave alone in the room) and a small fridge. But it’s not a big deal when I thought of the price and all the other good elements this hotel provides with.

Honestly this was one of my favourite stays Location was perfect, there’s literally a tunnel from the station that leads to the hotel if you look properly The whole room, lighting, Tv , window shades and temperature is digitalised (Your ipad gon be your best friend in the room lol) Digital Self check in perfect for introverts , you can choose your views upon check in depending on the options available You can mirror your phone to the TV which is perfect! Quiet, Even with all the fireworks on new years eve it was still bearable. 9/10 highly recommend. The staffs are amazing and friendly and soo nice.

Honestly the only downside someone might complain about is the breakfast options but it’s a buffet and it’s just 18 Euros so completely up to you to choose that.. Other than that All good Oh and no room service which is okay not everyone wants that tho

Really nice place, great location near the Markt and a one minute walk to Blaak tram and metro stations. Hotel has a lovely modern welcoming design, huge comfortable beds, nice bar. The free cocktails for first time guests was such a nice touch. Staff were absolutely lovely - so helpful and friendly they really made the stay special. You have the feeling that nothing is too much trouble for them.

Because the bed is pushed up against the wall on one side you have to climb over your partner to get to the toilet in the middle of the night. In addition, I wasn’t really convinced by the breakfast. Bad coffee and just adequate food. €19 seems steep.

The decoration was oustanding, really made us wanting to spend more time in the common living room. The fact that our bed was right next to the window was a great experience, being able to wake up and stare at the view in the morning! In addition, the bed was very large and comfy, and the fact we could control all lights and equipment via a tablet and choose the atmosphere we wanted for the room was amazing! The breakfast was very diversified and yummy, the staff very welcoming and nice, and the presence of a locker room for luggage very practical. We'll definitely come back!

The rooms could be a bit better soundproofed between themselves (e.g. when someone knocked at the room next to ours we were surprised and really thought they were knocking at our door)

Very friendly staff at the bar. For breakfast I ordered - two cappuccinos, two croissants and prosecco for my wife :D Proseco for your wife??? :D The bartender was very surprised and at the same time delighted that his wife’s morning began with proseco! The bartender didn’t take money for the proseco, he realized that he had a reason to celebrate something :) Thank you very much to the tall bartender, you made our day!!! And then I gave my wife flowers and the girl from the bar gave us a flower vase and said you can leave the vase in your room. It’s so nice to start celebrating the birthday of my beloved wife in the morning! Thank you very much for your attentive attitude towards visitors, you are a good team!!!

Nice central location, with parking near to the hotel. Nice comfortable rooms with surprising home controls for lighting, curtains, tv and other features. living room areas comfortable and atmospheric.

There nothing in the room to place and access an open suitcase, other than on the bed or the floor.

The visitor lounge areas at Citizen M Rotterdam are wonderful when you are part of a big group of friends. The staff are exceptional - very professional, engaged and friendly and always willing to help you. Breakfast is fantastic with a huge range of options to choose from including superb fresh breads, cold cuts and hot grill items - it really sets you up for the day! The location in the centre of Rotterdam near Blaak station and the Market Hall is perfect for exploring the city or heading direct to Schipol.
