Nice room/facilities, location close to train station, outstanding/prompt service from host I can't say enough good things about the host. I would IM them through the booking app and there would be a quick response within a few minutes. They were extremely helpful about things in the room or other information about the area. The Imamiya train station is a short 5 min walk from the location so getting around is very easy/convenient. People in other reviews commented about the washing machine not drying the clothes. You need to hang the clothes in the restroom on the bar above the bathtub. There is a set of buttons just outside the shower room for drying clothes. Use google translate on your phone to find it. It starts a timed dry of 5.5 hrs. You can even increase it to 10 hrs. We hung the clothes before we left the room and it would be nice a dry when we got back.

The location is next to a JR station (2mins hop, lift in station) and ten mins walk to the Osaka subway. So very convenient getting everywhere. There is a preschool nearby and I didnt think the area was dodgy. It is also next to a supermarket and pharmacy and also daiso (mega centre). Of course next to lawson. And we also tried Uber eats. It is spacy for family of four - 2 sinks which is great. Check in and out is very convenient. Clean beds and sheets

No receptionist but instructions were clear. Check out timing is non negotiable and no luggage storage Washing machine is available but no dryer so you got to air hang - hangers are provided. Also, two pillows per double bed 😅 No change of towels or cleaning during the 6 nights stay but you can dry your towels in the bathroom.

The property was great! A very good size. We are a family of four and found the property to be very comfortable size wise. There are build in wardrobes that can fit luggage. The property was very clean and comfortable. I loved that it had a washing machine, and there is a drying room function on the shower/bathroom (there is also a place on the balcony for hanging clothes if needed). The kitchenette has a cooktop and there are items for cooking. The property is just a few minutes walk from Imamiya train station, and you can catch the Osaka loop or other connecting trains from there. It took about 20 minutes to get to Universal Studios, and about 10 minutes to get to the central of Osaka by train. If you really wanted to walk, it’s about 40 minutes to Dontonbori. The building itself is very safe, clean and quiet. There is a convenience store next door where limited grocery items are available, but it’s great for snacks and drinks. The owner of the property was very responsive throughout the booking process and fantastic to communicate with.

This is not a problem with the property itself, but rather its location. This is a more residential area, so there are limited food and shopping options. You need to plan your meals ahead of time to make up for it. If you are travelling with children this may be a consideration.

The room was so big that i think it is okey for 5 or more people, since they have 4 queen bed but you cant open your luggage at the same time 😅. All room has an aircon that helps beat the heat in this summer. I love the toilet and the wash room is separated, washing machine was very easy to use and the detergen smells good tho. Kitchen equip is complete, microwave and stove works well. It has big balcony and thats a point 👍🏼 The staff is extremelly nice that reply my message right away. This is no man hotel, but the check in time went smooth. The lobby has a large dining (?) Area so if you want to have a light bfast from lawson next door before going out but too lazy to go back to ur room, you may have it there. Lawsoj is nezt door and the hotel has a beverage vending machine. The loc is actually okey, just 5 mins away from imamiya station. Near a private residential area, there is daiso as well. But if youre coming from shinkansen stat and stop in daikokuchi with luggages, the 1 km walk is pretty hard because of the the asphalt 😭 Overall it was a good stay althought it was only one night. But hopefully the check out time can be more than 10 a.m permanently. We had an amazing time at Ostay Vermillion. After the train from the airport, there was no elevator at the other side of shin immamiya station so we took a taxi instead which was a better choice because we have huge luggages. We paid about 1000 yen. The place was perfect for us, and we communicated with the staff via whats app. A short walk to Immamiya station which is our go to, for all the places we want to visit in Osaka. There is a Lawson downstairs. For 6 days we brought our trash downstairs which is an easy task. Towels were changed once. It would be nice if there is a free cleaning service at least once for the 6 days stay. Good thing Im ok with cleaning. We loved the sofa with table an throwpillows, so we can eat or hang around before and after our trips, instead of laying immediately on our beds. The rooms have doors so it can be private. I like the small plastic chair in the bathroom where I can sit while bathing. There is bath tub. Complete set of kitchenware and washing machine wtih free detergent. Hang your wet clothes at the bathroom and it will be dry overnight because they have drier in there. We have enough space for the 5 of us. The place was clean, and I hope they would keep it that way so we can come back. There is a very good ramen place called Kappa ramen near by. I hope there would a be a supermarket walking distance by the place. We didn't check, but maybe you need a taxi to get there or train. I like the floor. I don't like carpeted floors at hotels because I am sure they are dirty. Good thing their floor is not carpeted, my toddler liked crawling by the floor after a long day, so I hope they clean it well. There is a not shoes in the room policy. I hope all would be diligent doing that, because our shoes carry lots of germs from outside. I notice that Asians do leave their shoes outside which is a good practice. They have free slippers but very thin tho for 6 days. Would be nice to have a bit stronger slippers.

Just for improvement. Wish there was a free cleaning even once for 6 days stay. One mirror for doing make up maybe. We are glad to have booked this place. :)

For the price the value was awesome. Great place to rest after a long day exploring. Lawson's straight over the road for some snacks/beers. Washing machine was great, house cleaning every 2nd day with fresh towels.

Seating / Resting common area. The accommodation sleeps 8 but there is seating for 3. After a long days exploring we were mostly showering / cleaning and getting ready for bed but a little more seating would have been nice, even a set of stackable stools that don't take up a lot of space but offer a few more people a chance to rest while waiting for the shower would have been a welcome addition.

The hotel was in a highly accessible location, making it easy to get around without any hassle. Whether arriving by car or public transportation, everything was conveniently within reach. The hotel itself provided all the essentials, from toiletries to fully stocked kitchenware, ensuring a comfortable and stress-free stay. My favorite part was the bath area—it had a heat option that made for an incredibly relaxing experience. After a long day, being able to unwind in a warm, soothing bath was the perfect touch. Overall, a well-equipped and thoughtfully designed stay!

The only downside was that the ventilation in the toilet was quite weak, which could be improved for better airflow. Other than that, it was a well-equipped and enjoyable stay!

The flat is about 5-8min walk from the Imamiya station. There's a Daiso supermarket right outside the station and a Lawson just across the road from the flat - these are life savers for foreign tourists. Check-in and out is simple, quick and hassle-free - so kudos to the hosts here. It's a really nice neighbourhood of Osaka - quite but not boring. The flat itself was generally well appointed. It was exactly as shown in the Bookings or any other site. We were a family of 3, and had no issues. Instructions for everything were clear and simple to follow. The building itself feels new, nice and squeaky clean. That could apply to all of Japan, but I digress. There were 2 king-sized beds which were super comfortable - we got good sleep in there. All in all, its great value for money. The host was kind, and super responsive.

If you're planning to use the kitchenette, you will find a few things missing.

Very nice accommodations. Very modern. Had a full Japanese kitchen. Staff was quite responsive. Also had a washer machine and balcony with drying rack. Responsive staff. They provided more hangers and changed the towels when we requested them, One of the air-conditioners had a problem. and they quickly offered a discount to the cost of the room as they could not get someone in to fix it before our stay was over.

The kitchen had minimal kitchen supplies. One cooking knife and one pair of scissors. One of the air-conditioners had a problem. There is no place to eat in the apartment. There is a couch and a coffee table only.

The accommodation was located in a quiet area within easy walking distance to stations connecting to central Osaka (5 min walk to Imamiya station and 15 min walk to Daikokucho Station - both providing quick access to Namba, Osaka and many other stations. 20-25 mins to Universal Studios). It is also within walking distance to some great eats and a Lawson across the road. Finding the accommodation was easy and check in was a breeze. It’s self check in but very clear instructions (including photos and video) are provided to make this really simple to follow. The hotel fit out appears to be quite new and it was all very clean. The room itself was clean and tidy with very basic amenities - shampoo, conditioner, soap, some kitchen utensils and crockery. A fridge and microwave are provided also. The bathroom facilities were great - separate toilet and a shower/bath room, and separate sink area. The shower/bath room also doubles as a drying room so if you make use of the washing machine you can easily dry your clothes inside (we did a few loads of washing during our stay and they dried overnight). The bedrooms are small and provide ample wardrobe space and firm but comfortable beds. There is a small balcony off the bedrooms which also had drying room for washing. The living area had a small tv and small sofa, which wasn’t very comfortable but we were out exploring Osaka anyway. When eating in the room there was not enough seating for the 4 of us, but this was not a problem. It was a good size for 4 of us (2 adults and 2 teens). We stayed for 5 nights and wished we could stay for longer. Communication with the property was also very easy with prompt replies to questions. We’d highly recommend this property for families who want to have easy access to the city centre and a quiet place to retreat to after the sensory overload.
