The property is beautiful and very well done. The rooms are clean and spacious and well laid out. We stayed here for a total of 3 nights. Check-in was nice and felt very personable experience. We had an issue with a different guest trying to access our room at 3am whilst drunk. This was addressed throughly and the manager came to us first thing the following morning even though they were not at fault for this. This was warming to see.

The swimming pool although a good size, does not have enough loungers. We found them taken up by people hogging them with towels or bags as they went around for their daily business. As a result people who wanted to relax (us included) did not have the beds to do so. If you choose to walk to the hotel from the Old Town please beware. You have to a narrow bridge/footpath that cars and bikes travel each way on. There isn’t much room for two larger vehicles and on a number of occasions had to press hard against the bridge wall to avoid be hit by a wing mirror of a car or moped.

The service from all staff was excellent. The rooms were large and had a terrific view and had excellent aircon. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The breakfast was one of the better ones we had in Vietnam - lots of choices and with a nice view. There was a short walk over the bridge (on a narrow walkway) to the main part of Hoi An old town. The location was perfect in that regard. This is the 3rd time we have been to Hoi An but the 1st time we have stayed at Bay Resort. The resort is quite new and offers very good value for money.

The pool water was like a hot bath in summer. Not inviting at all and a big letdown for us. We just could not use it.

The location is perfect. Overlooking the Ancient Town. We enjoyed the use of the pool in the warm afternoons relaxing before the Hoi An night life. All waiters and cleaners were amazingly helpful, and we really loved having a chat with them. Our room was upgraded and we can not fault the room it was perfect. A huge bathroom with a lovely bath. Fully stocked bar fridge and complimentary snacks. The breakfast was delicious and served a good mix of western and local food.

We loved it but for improvement we would love to see a concierge or guest services at the front desk. There are so many things to do in and around HoiAn that some extra help would always be appreciated.

Everything was of the highest quality, the staff were excellent and the positioning was just perfect to enjoy the view and experience of the river, and have easy access to all that Hoi An has to offer, Definitely a good place to be based and visit the likes of An Bang beach as you wish with cheap taxis via the Grab App. Food and drinks round the pool were excellent, as was the incredible breakfast buffet. A real treat and really good value thanks to the low season.

We had a problem with one of our rooms but they moved us immediately, to an upgraded room and gave us complimentary cocktails. So an excellent response, and really appreciated.

The hotel, the hospitality, the food, the location. It was all outstanding! I dont think we could have asked for anything better than this for our vacation at Vietnam. I must visit place Hoi An and if Hoi An, it has to be Bay Resort!

We love everything about the hotel from the location which was on a less happening side of Hoi An away from the crowd. Its view overlooking the river was beautiful and serene. Hotel room is amazing from comfort to its size and amenities in the room! Breakfast was great and hospitality is commendable. Amazing service and very impressive stay!

The standard of both building, amenities and service provided by this Resort were excellent. Situated on the river frontage, the Resort provides a clear view of the old town and the colourful night time river activities. Access to the old town is either short walk across the nearby bridge or a shuttle service provided by the Resort. All the staff we met were exceptional. A few examples, first at our first meal the Executive Chef introduced himself and asked if we had any special menu preferences in addition to the great food on offer. Second, I arrived for breakfast with the onset of a cold and a waitress noticed and suggested a green tea might help. Later back in our room there was a unexpected knock on the door. It was one of the reception staff with a packet of Fishermans Friends for me. A memorable act of thoughtfulness. In addition to the swimming, massage and bar services, the Resort also provided a Vietnamese coffee making making class, this was educational and enjoyable.

We chose this hotel/resort for the location, and it could not have been better. We could enjoy the sights and sounds of the Old Town and river from the property (and even from one of our river-facing rooms) and it was so easy to walk over to it. Our teenagers could come and go as they pleased, and we were back and forth for fittings for our custom clothing whenever needed. We had no concerns about security. The lobby staff were very kind, as were the restaurant staff at those amazing breakfasts. We wouldn't hesitate to stay there again if we are so fortunate as to return to Hoi An.

We made our reservation when the property was Bay Resort. We were pleased that the new owners honored our reservation on the original terms. I don't know how the prices and thus value have changed. But this property may be worth paying extra for, given the quality and unique location.

Amazing resort that exceeded our expectations. Exceptionally clean and modern (they can clean your room twice a day if you wish). We had the deluxe river view room and I requested the ground floor which comes with an outdoor seating area overlooking the river. We arrived early and they gave us an early check in which was much appreciated! The room service was reasonably priced unlike most hotels / resorts which are quite pricey and the service is incredibly fast. The service at the hotel is amazing, all the staff are incredibly helpful and attentive. The breakfast is really good too, very good selection and coffees were very nice. The pool area overlooks the river and has a decent amount of seating area. As per the other reviews you do need to cross a busy bridge to go to the main area of the town , it is a narrow walkway , we personally didn’t have issues walking the bridge but it may be more difficult if you are travelling with kids. The hotel does offer a shuttle service several times a day to cross the bridge which is very helpful. Some other stuff to note : Aircon is very responsive and is very quiet. The bed is very comfortable as well. The TV is a smart tv and you can watch Disney and Netflix on it. Everything in the minibar is complimentary and refilled daily including water , juice , soft drink, fruit , chocolate, biscuits and chips. The gym is decently well equipped and very very clean. Wifi is very fast and reliable.

The staff were very friendly, helpful and polite. Nothing was too much trouble and they were prompt in assisting with anything you needed. The bed was comfortable and the room spacious and very clean. The buffet breakfast had a wide selection of food and beverages for all tastes. The pool area was clean and had a nice view across the river. The location was excellent and just across the bridge from the old town, although the narrow walkway on the apron of the bridge (out of the hotel’s control) could be challenging depending on the traffic.
