The staff was so nice and the location was perfect. Very beautiful hotel and they own a very cute en social puppy.

One small comment: although the dog was very cute, she was not disciplined when needed and roaming around freely. Since she is a pup, she was constantly trying to play with you and she ripped my new dress in the process in front of the hotel owner. And we noticed that a lot of other guests did not want her near, but could not get rid of her haha. So, it would have been better if the hotel owners payed a little more attention to her. But that is the only note we have. Our stay was amazing :)

The hosts were very nice. We got a very nice big room with a big bathroom and balcony overlooking the pool. Too bad it was bad weather or else we would've used the pool. Every evening Wally (our host) would text us what we wanted for breakfast, so every morning we got very nice breakfast by the hostess (sorry didn't ask for her name, but she was so sweet and nice). Breakfast is between 7 and 10 AM I think, I'm not sure because we get breakfast every morning at around 9 ~ 9:30 AM. They also cleaned the room every day and clean towels every day. They also gave us a map and tips for sightseeing in Hoi An. The hotel is close to where all the markets are, so very walkable and also 10 minutes walk from Hoi An Memories Land, which I highly recommend going too. I would definitely recommend this place.

There are some small spots on the bed but that is pretty much everywhere in Vietnam.

Wally is a great host, super helpful with recommendations and helping to sort out posting clothes back to the UK - someone came out to the hotel to pack everything up for me! The villa is super clean, breakfast is generous and tasty with multiple cooked to order options. Room are big, light and airy, comfy beds, clean bathrooms and regular cleaning service. Location is good, short walk into the old town but far enough away from the action that it is peaceful and quiet! Loved my stay here and would definitely come back.

Wally was an excellent host who helped us with any task we needed, there was also a lovely lady who cooked breakfast on demand every morning. The room itself was spacious and clean. The aircon worked very well and the bathroom was modern with a lovely big shower. Wally and his team helped us with transfers to the train station and also with laundry. Me and my partner had a great stay and so far out of all the places we’ve stayed in Vietnam, Sunny Pool Villa has been the best. The pool is clean and though there are chickens nearby, when the windows are closed you can’t actually hear them with the balcony doors closed. There is a lot of nature nearby and when walking around the island the locals greet you with smiling faces. I think the location of the villa is perfect as it’s away from the main touristy area but still only a 5 minute walk. There are (at least) two incredible food places within a 2 minute walk away which offer fantastic vegetarian options as well! All-in-all me and my partner cannot fault this wonderful property and gracious hosts. 10/10.

Genuinely cannot think of a single bad thing.

The location is ideal for exploring Hoi An without being in the noisy part. The rooms & outdoor facilities like the pool are well taken care of compared to other accommodations. I absolutely loved the fact that you got to choose your breakfast the evening before. The get the ingredients freshly at the market and it just means less food waste compared to a buffet.

The tour to My Son, which I booked via them, was probably a bit overpriced so I would book activities via GetYourGuide or Klook.

Without a doubt, one of the best stays of our entire trip. We were in a room right in front of the pool, the breakfast was delicious (I need the pancake recipe), and the people who run the place are super friendly. We used the laundry service, and they had it ready the same evening, and it smelled great. It’s a bit away from the most touristy area, so it's quiet, but a 10-minute walk gets you to the center. We asked if we could check out later, and they said unfortunately our room was already booked, but we could move to another room on the upper floor for a small extra fee, which was worth it. The room on the upper floor was also very nice and comfortable. If we come back, we’ll definitely stay here again. We fell in love with the little dog.

The staff was always very nice and welcoming and the place itself is also really pretty and quiet which is perfect for calming down after a busy day in Hoi An. They provided us with a map and some recommendations for restaurants, tailoring and activities in the beginning which was very helpful. We also loved the many different breakfast choices as there was lots of variety and they were all freshly cooked and really tasty. If we come back to Hoi An we will definitely stay here again.

Only one minor thing: the pool could have been cleaned for leaves and bugs a bit more often.

Fantastic location - away from the busy centre but close enough to walk (although if you have issues with mobility the bridge over the river may not be accessible as it has a very narrow path.) Good size room with one of the most comfortable beds we’ve had in the 6 months we’ve been in South East Asia. The owner Wally was incredibly friendly and happy to help with anything. Easy to contact via WhatsApp if he wasn’t at the desk. Cheap, quick laundry that actually smelt clean! Nice pool and good breakfast

Room was a bit tired and could do with touching up Shower only stayed hot for a short while (though did retain some heat) - note this is normal for a lot of places in Vietnam.

All of the staff are very helpful and welcoming (with a cute little dog) and I would recommend booking a driver through the hotel to the airport as it was cheaper than Grab. The breakfast was great as well as the pool which was clean and a good size. The room was large and very clean with a balcony overlooking the pool, and good air con. Location was quiet and away from the busy place but ideal for exploring Hoi An- there are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby but then only a short walk over the bridge to the main area

The property was in the perfect location. Far enough from the busy old town but close enough that it’s only a 5-10 min walk in. Nice size room with everything you need. Breakfast was really nice and Wally and his family were so lovely and helpful with anything my friend and I needed, including buying a couple of bags of the delicious Vietnamese coffee and showing me how to make it. Wally was also really helpful with booking a couple of tours we went on. I would really recommend anyone looking for a place to stay to stay at Hoi A Sunny Pool Villa.
