Everything was great at The Muse . We know the area well it is away from the centre of town so quieter but still in walking distance or you can take a bicycle from The Muse or rent a motorbike. Airport pick up was organised for us and went very smoothly. The family suite was just right for us with our grown granddaughter privacy if needed but with enough room to get together . The pool was clean , plenty of sun lounges and pool towels . This hotel was very clean plus they have a great restaurant on site if you just feel like not going out . All meals cooked fresh and delicious . Most importantly though the owner and her staff are fabulous nothing is a problem and some of the best smiles around . We will be back to stay again soon .

The staff, the food at the restaurant, the pool. All were really good. The breakfasts are great value. Food & drinks served up by the pool if required. It's family run and it shows in the care and enthusiasm taken.

The sorrounding area - it's quite scruffy and there are, as in all of Sihanoukville, unfinished or empty buildings.

Don’t usually leave reviews but we had a fantastic 5 night stay at the Muse House, would highly recommend. Great accommodation and pool in a quiet location. Staff were so welcoming and kind. Thanks for having us to stay :)

This hotel located on the island next to old town, it takes probably 10 minutes to get there pn foot, but you can also take bicycle for free , which is a nice option since you can’t access main part of old town on motorbike. Breakfast was sufficient, there is a selection of 2 food option and 2 drink options for each person, so it is not a buffet. The rooms are just enormous size compared to everything we’ve seen here, also a huge balcony. Hotel is older, but well maintained. Swimming pool is super nice, very clean, private, surrounded by lots of greenery

I expected it to be more quiet, but there were a lot of motorbikes on this street, and also a construction (March 2025)

Everything ticks the boxes here! We booked based on the great reviews we read for 2 nights. We quickly decided once here, to stay the rest of the month of July! Mainly because everything is perfect for us and the family is so helpful and lovely. We feel so relaxed here! Location is an easy 700 metre walk to old town/markets. They will easily organise anything you need to see or do so you will have a good experience in Vietnam. The rooms, bathroom facilities are very clean, spacious and comfortable. The property has a lovely pool area and great restaurant where you will also eat breakfast. The food on the menu is delicious and cold beverages at hand. Bicycles and scooters available. We have been travelling through 4 different countries since March - The Muse House is a hidden gem!

Typically like a lot of pools that we have come across- no shade over pool, water gets very warm.

We really liked the location – perfect for a short stay or as a base to explore the area. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and they can arrange a variety of tours, from cooking classes to the Hoi An Memory Show and lantern boat trips. They also helped us book airport transfers to and from Da Nang. Everything they offered was cheaper than what we found online, including the tours and transport! The laundry service was excellent – they washed different colors separately, and everything was done quickly and at a great price. Super convenient if you’re traveling for a longer time.

Breakfast was okay—nothing fancy, but it did the job. The pool wasn’t very clean, so we didn’t spend much time there. Luckily, we had so many other exciting things to do that we barely noticed. Overall, it didn’t affect our stay!

Our room was nicely appointed and right next to the pool. The Muse House is only a short walk away from the main Old Town bridge, so very handy to all of the markets, restaurants and bars. The staff were very helpful, and there are bicycles which can be borrowed so you can go for a longer explore. The pool is great - lovely to cool off after a day's cycling or walking around the markets. A very good place to base yourself while exploring Hoi An.

We received a very enthusiastic pitch for all the local attractions when we checked in, and although I'm sure that was well-intentioned (and was actually very useful too), we were tired and just wanted to get to our rooms. We would have preferred to get the tourism briefing once we'd relaxed a bit :) Not a big deal though, and the hotel is a great place to stay.

The staff is very friendly, willing to help, they organize all sorts of day trips, transfers scooter rental, laumdry etc - anything you need they can help with. 15 min walk to Hoi An center so tucked away in a quiet location, excellent for a good night sleep. The hotel and garden are well maintained. Good breakfast. Great value for money. Definitely recommend :) A couple of small nice to haves though: - swimming pool is not filtered so the water is not as clean and clear as you would expect or see in the pics - beds and pillows are a bit hard but no biggie though. - if you return at the hotel after 10pm or so use the ring bell next to the main entrance as the gate is closed and there is no contact phone available displayed.

Location was good on Cam Nam island out of the way of the hustle and bustle of the river and old town. The Muse House was exceptional with a beautiful pool to relax by in the heat of the day with free towels and sun loungers. The pictures are true to life. Phuong on the front desk was a total gem and organised our onward transportation, with a smile every day. She speaks English and will go out of her way to help with tours and recommendations. Breakfast was plentiful with rice, noodles, omelettes, baguettes etc. We used the free bikes but found riding across the bridge at certain times a little hairy to say the least. The bikes themselves are functional and we rode to the beach on the flat roads, but do test the brakes beforehand as they’re a bit dodgy! All in all, a lovely stay.

We love staying at The Muse House. This is our second time, the first time for 5 nights and this time for 7 and we would definitely come back again. We have stayed in the family suite and the 2 bedroom apartments and both are fantastic for a family of 4, with plenty of space. The value for money here is excellent. Breakfast is tasty, everything is clean and tidy, the atmosphere is friendly. The hotel is family-run and the owners and staff are so kind. We particularly love that there is a pool and sunbeds to cool down during the hot day. The balconies are also great for relaxing. Walking to town takes around 10-15 minutes but rental bikes are available for a 5 minute ride. There are also plenty of small bars, cafes and spas on the way.

Bring some earplugs and a sleep mask if you don’t like to be woken up early. It’s bright before 6am and the town, children and dogs wake up very very early.
