The family in the hotel could not do enough for us, one day we managed to break the door handle and they went above and beyond to help us, not so much as eye lid was battered for the damage either. Always happy to advise us on things, from laundry, to suits, tours, and where to find a pharmacy. Additionally we had a vegan, a vegetarian and a meat eater on the trip and they adjusted and adapted everything to our chaotic needs.

The property needs a bit of tlc, a lick of paint, but that’s purely for aesthetics.

This place was a true sanctuary—peaceful and serene, offering a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of Hoi An, yet only a quick 5-minute motorbike ride away. The exterior design was stunning, and the pool provided the ideal way to unwind after a day of exploring. Every meal was fresh and absolutely delicious. The warm-hearted family who runs it made the experience unforgettable—genuinely kind and attentive, they turned our stay into an 11/10. The room was incredibly spacious and exceptionally comfortable. I wouldn’t hesitate to return—I'd come back in a heartbeat!

No complaints!

Very soft, comfortable and large bed in a large room. Excellent location being only a 10 minute walk into the old town. The host family were amazing and couldn’t have been more welcoming and helpful. They helped us organise trips and taxis when needed. The breakfast was incredible. Large, fresh and tasty meals served with a variety of fruit and a small sweet dessert. The free bicycles were also a great addition and we enjoyed cycling around Hoi An. We can’t wait to come back and stay in the future and highly recommend this homestay to anyone!

Only a small thing but the bathroom floor took a long time to dry as it is one big wet room but it really doesn’t impact the stay too much!

The villa is located about a 10–15 minute walk from Hoi An’s Ancient Town, which made it easy to explore the city while staying in a quieter area. Our room was spacious and comfortable, perfect for a family stay. The owners were incredibly kind and helpful – they not only arranged our transportation from Da Nang at a very competitive price but also let us use the kitchen to prepare a meal when one of our kids got sick. That level of hospitality really made a difference. Breakfasts were simple but good, with four set options including both Asian and European choices. There’s a small pool with sunbeds, just right for cooling off and letting the kids splash around. A convenience shop is located just 5 minutes away on foot. The combination of comfort, friendliness, and thoughtful service made it a great base in Hoi An. Definitely recommended, especially for families!

The swimming pool isn’t very large – good enough for kids to play but not for serious swimming (though that was fine for us).

The host family who own this Villa are so lovely. We arrived early by sleeper bus (0500am) and they still woke up to ensure we could put our bags in their reception area and then let us know when we could check in. We checked in early around 1130am. Breakfast is delicious & regardless of which option you pick, you also relieve a tasty fruit and cake platter alongside it. Also the room was clean & spacious with everything we needed. It's close enough to the old town that you can walk there every day but also in a quiet enough area that feels peaceful and close to other lovely coffee & food spots. Thanks for our stay!

Nothing ... all was great and amazing value for money

We loved our stay, everything about it was perfect. The family were so friendly, welcoming and kind. They would always offer to help if needed. The room was the nicest we’ve stayed in, perfectly clean and spacious with great balcony. The pool area was lovely and the breakfast varied and delicious. We had seen a negative review about breakfast but we found it to be delicious every day, no complaints at all. The area was great, really quiet despite being an easy walk or cycle ride into town.

My room was spacious and bright with a big window leading into a small balcony and 2 smaller windows at the sides of the bed. The bed was comfy and the bathroom is functional - everything super clean. The villa is located about 5 mins cycling from the city centre, which makes it quiet although fully accessible (walking is also possible and short-distance). There is a beautiful pool that unfortunately I didn’t get the chance to use due to the rainy weather. They have plenty of bicycles (for free) and motorcycles for rent - I cycled through the rice paddies towards the beachfront and it was awesome. The highlight of this property is surely the family that runs it. They are all lovely and super friendly. Breakfast is cooked to order with a selection of 4 different dishes (2 Vietnamese options and 2 “continental” ones) with a drink of choice + fruit and little cakes on the house. They go above and beyond to make you feel like home!

Impossibile to fault it.

Yen villa is a fantastic place to stay. It's super quiet and peaceful, but only about 10 mins walk from the old town. It's spotlessly clean and the rooms are huge. Aircon was excellent and bed comfy, great bed linen too! Bathroom was a good size and I loved having a fridge. The pool is a nice area to relax in and breakfast had a few good options. The most important thing though is the owners: they are so friendly and helpful. They helped me navigate important bits of Hoi An like finding a reasonably priced coconut boat and not getting ripped off by the lantern boats. They were also super kind and made sure I could shower before the night train. Highly recommended.

Such a great stay. The family are wonderful people, so much so that when we accidentally mixed up our dates upon checking out making us a little late for check out not only did they not charge a late fee but happily helped us to sort cheaper transfers to our next destination and continuously confirmed there was no rush for us to leave. Great location and great breakfast. Spacious and comfortable rooms with AC and daily cleans! Would highly recommend this stay. Pool was a very nice touch too for chill days. One of our best stays throughout Vietnam :)

We stayed here for 7 nights and it was great. A relaxing place to stay in a quiet area of Hoi An, within walking distance of the old town (10-15min) (and right around the corner from a mart, too). The room was very spacious, beds were very comfy, AC was great, and the pool was also very refreshing. There is a large selection for breakfast and it was great!!

The hot water was very temperamental, making it hard to have a warm/hot shower sometimes. There was also no fan in the bathroom, so mould on the ceiling.
