Beautiful and peaceful layout. Very nice location - walk 10-15 minutes along the river to Hoi An Memories show or to the entry to the Ancient Town area. Breakfast is quite good, and the in-resort "ArtSpace Cafe" is highly recommended. Many other restaurants within a few blocks.

CONS: A bit more expensive than it should be IMO. Rooms are not well soundproofed, and connecting a laptop to the TV was impossible due to the malfunctioning ChromeCast and TV app that disables the HDMI input option

I had booked a premier suite, and was at first given a 3rd floor walk-up. When I expressed dismay, it was immediately changed to the ground floor, and was a larger suite. The two restaurants, one western, one Asian, had great food, and being on the river was just so soothing. Nice boardwalk, good boat and people watching. Location not central, but not out of the way either. Easy to get everywhere, while still having an oasis of calm. Staff is fantastic!

Good rooms. Great houskeeping. Eco-friendly with glass bottles for drinking water, bamboo toiletries etc. Usual Anantara amazing-ness. Striking distance to Old Town. Friendly staff who made an effort getting a cake organised for my mum's birthday. Thank you!

The sunken bath (in one room) poses some risk getting in and out - just be careful and take it easy if you have mobility issues. Pool was odd shaped with it being deeper in the centre.

Excellent location, easy walk to the historic old town but shops /cafes just outside the hotel are worth a good look.The Hotel is an oasis of calm and competence. staff wonderful, rooms great ,loved the pool side area with cafe/bar. The food at both main restaurants was exceptional and good value for money.

Loved it all, stayed 4 mights will book longer next time.

The rooms are spacious, great breakfast, and lovely central location, the pool is also very relaxing. the staff were very friendly and made an effort to know names

unfortunately the prices of food and drink at the hotel are extortionate compared to surrounding restaurants.

Pool was fantastic as was the location of the hotel. The staff were very helpful and the buffet breakfast was great.

Only disappointing factor was having to pay for coffee at the buffet breakfast, I would assume that would have been included in the buffet price.

The facilities are under construction, the restaurant is very nice, food is great,but half of it is under construction,noise is sometimes disturbing The rooms are nice, but somewhat uncomfortable, many steps inside, in the bathroom, there is no shower curtain, and you have another step down, it is uncomfortable

I loved the tropical resort vibe and had a really relaxing, comfortable stay. The room was nice, and I especially enjoyed the balcony — it was perfect for just chilling out, reading a book, and recharging. The staff were super friendly, and the sparkling wine and prosciutto at breakfast were amazing.

The staff at Anantara was unbelievable! Everyone from reception, to the restaurant, to the spa employees treated us like gold and we're so incredibly lovely. They even had a free 15 minute shoulder massage for us when we first arrived. The location was fabulous, the property was beautiful – will for sure return when we come back to Hoi An!

The pictures don't do this place justice. It exceeded my expectations. The facilities were excellent. The room was a better in reality than in the pictures and the Riverside location of the resort being a short distance from the old town is ideal. The staff were very friendly and attentive and the breakfast was excellent. The pool is also fantastic.
