Wow...little gem on our doorstep ( a 5-hour drive, actually lol). Couldn't recommend this place anymore.Chris and team work flatout to provide a service which makes you feel at ease and even during busy periods of the day they are happy to assist. We had lots planned while we were in Cornwall, however. Once we put our bags down and got used to the surroundings, we didn't move. The rooms, the views and hospitality, the breakfast, and the fact that a veach with blue and green water is on your doorstep you could not go wrong! Thank you, Chris and team... we will see you in 2026!!! Best Ajay and Family xo
Maybe the only thing which is not actually the venues fault is parking....be sure to know you will need to pay daily or travel a distance for free parking.

This is a review of both the accommodation and the pub. Our 2-night stay at this B&B was excellent. The location with its views, parking (pay&display), and beach access is outstanding. The rooms and bathroom are perfectly thought through and managed - and we had a brilliant and comfortable stay. The breakfast is also very good - both the continental stuff and the cooked bits had enough variety to keep us going for a few more days if we wanted. The breakfast staff were extremely efficient and friendly, along with the manager, Babs, who was very helpful. We had a really nice time staying there. As for the rest of the food, we had two dinners there - and the pub food is average. Nothing to complain about, but nothing to remember either. All in all though, I had the most positive experience staying at Old Success Inn and would return in a heartbeat whenever I end up in Sennen Cove again. I highly recommend it.
My only complaint was that the cleaning left a lot to be desired. We only needed it once, and though teas and biscuits were refreshed, and the beds were made, the floor had clearly not been vacuumed/swept, and the bathroom didn't look like it had been cleaned either.

Perfect location by Sennen Cove Beach, we loved this hotel. Our double room was in the side extension facing out to the beach and the glorious sunset. Room was excellent, coffee machine and even beach towels. Breakfast excellent, we chose to eat in the main Dining area but would have been just as good eating at the outside tables looking out to the beach. We ate here our first evening, great food choice and service, food excellent and nice atmosphere in a character setting. We parked in the adjacent public car park which was just a few yards away and cost £9 for 24 hours. The beach is amazing. We would also recommend the nearby Sennen Surf lodge for a sunset glass.

Clean, comfortable and well located.
We were incredibly grateful for the staff to arrange some late night food for us while we were out at the theatre. We did not know what we were going to get but that was fine. We got 2 large plates of pasta and tomato sauce with some chicken breast. It was perfectly acceptable if not very tasty. They also gave us 2 desserts (which we didn’t specifically ask for) - again we were grateful, but didn’t eat them. The next day when we checked out I was charged £60 for the food - I paid without complaint due to the late night extra service, but for the quality of the food I would have expected to pay around half that amount. It’s a shame as it left a sour taste to an otherwise excellent stay.

We loved the location and the friendly atmosphere of the pub. The views were beautiful and a good place to escape. The staff were brilliant and welcoming. They were very attentive. Breakfast was delicious in the morning and good pub meals during the day or evening. Our room was very comfortable and well equipped. We also had an Easter Egg delivery which was a lovely touch. Thank you Old Success
The rain. To be honest, it was all pretty good. There are lots of stairs, so be warned but only an issue for mobility. It can get busy, but you need to book to avoid disappointment.

WOW!! We're walking the whole of the south west coast path and after a log walk this place was like paradise! It's right on the path on the sea front and the welcome from the guy behind reception was perfect! not only had they taken our cases up to our room (we're using a luggage transfer service) they'd also put soya milk in the fridge (we'd let them know we were vegan when booking) and there was also a free can of Korev lager in the fridge too. When we arrived in the room it was beautifully decorated, spacious, spotlessly clean and they had the radio on making it feel very welcoming. The vegan breakfast was very tasty, we had a lovely view and we really appreciated the speciality coffee at breakfast too - not just standard filter. This is the 26th accommodation we've stayed at in as many days and definitely the best. We'd highly recommend and would definitely stay again if we come back to this area.
nothing!

The Location of this hotel is 1000 out of 10. The room was modern and spacious. The bathroom is comfortable 10 of 10. They have beach towels. Breakfast was great! Read accurately describe your room. I had a noisy room, but it's my fault. Thank you for your transparent description.
The reception people didn't help order a taxi. They can only give you a local telephone number taxi. If you foreigner, sometimes it can be difficult. Uber taxi doesn't work here. I had a trip to Cornwall and stayed in hotels, and they all helped order a taxi for me.

Excellent Accomodation and very friendly and witty lady at the front desk as well as staff in general. Beautiful rooms with some extra points, i.e. special assortment of teas, extra decoration. Motel like possibility to sit in front of the room at night and listen to the ocean or take a cupper of tea first thing in the morning and have it on a wooden bench across the street , overlooking the sea. Good and healthy relation between commerce and traditionaly warm hearted , old style english/ cornish hospitality .
to many surfers everywhere sometimes going me on my nerves - but Hotel not guilty

Wow, what a lovely stay! The room just kept giving. I was a bit gutted I didn't see that I hadn't booked a sea view room as all the pictures I had seen on the website were sea view but actually the decor in the room made up for it and I would have chosen the decor over the sea view! A gorgeous beach on the doorstep. I love them providing a postcard to remember it by. Breakfast was lovely offering cooked options and continental! wow, for having a coffee pod machine. Lovely deep bath to soak in, although it took a long time to fill! It was very cosy and quiet. Loved the decor and warm lighting. Little light in the bathroom for going to the toilet at night i a wonderful idea. I wish more places provided. The big tv was enjoyed! Hot chocolate was truly scrumptious, and I'm very picky of it! Milk in the fridge was great, and a free drink in there just felt very generous! Would love to stay again and recommend it, just a shame they have no space for private parking. Beware risking the car park for free! I thought arriving at 7 pm and leaving at 8am I had no chance of being fined well the £8 cost for 24 hours is a lot cheaper than £60 when they visited at 7am to fine!!!!

Great location car park close by and reasonable £9 for 24hours. Maybe tricky to find a space in high Summer. Room large and comfortable. Just the net curtain was a little grubby and moldy at the bottom and a few cobwebs but bedding immaculate and bathroom very clean. Lovely Elemis products to use in the bathroom too. Mini fridge a nice touch along with an iron. Also nice to have a table and chairs to sit at especially looking at the sea. Breakfast good a nice selection of cooked options and lovely to have fresh milk in your room for a hot drink. Would definitely stay again.
