The host Trev was warm and welcoming, offering us complimentary tea and cake in their sunny courtyard garden, on arrival. The take away breakfast on the the day of our departure was lovely and just what we needed for our boat journey to the Isles of Scilly, only beaten by the the delicious breakfast we enjoyed on our return visit. We stayed in room 4 for our first visit then room 3 when we returned from our Scilly holiday. Room 4 was beautiful and spacious, room 3 was beautiful and had everything we required but the bathroom would be unsuitable for large people as it is quite bijou. All the rooms are furnished to a high standard and the walls decorated with his talented wife's art work. We chose this B& B for its location near the ferry harbour and because of its reviews. We were not disappointed. I would highly recommend this delightful B & B, where nothing was too much trouble.

Extremely helpful and accommodating owners (allowed luggage storage before check-in) and offered great local recommendations. Also offer a convenient packed picnic lunch - hope to make use of that on our next visit (and there will be another visit). Excellent location (we comfortably walked with luggage from the Railway Station). Good variety of fine restaurants within easy walking distance. Excellent night's sleep in quiet location (despite open window) and sumptuously comfortable bed. Spotlessly clean room, well appointed with all necessities and more. Not a single-use plastic container in sight. And ten out of ten for providing a little jug of fresh milk as an optional alternative to UHT. A host of clearly well thought-out details such as these for the benefit of guests is clearly and widely in evidence at this immaculately run property. My wife was way off when she tried to guess the cost, proving excellent value-for-money. Highly recommended and we intend to return in future ourselves. Note: Didn't make use of the compact car park, so can't comment on that aspect of things.

Beautifully appointed room and hotel. Every need you might have has been considered. Really lovely gesture to be offered tea and cake in the garden which we really appreciated after a long drive. Very attentive owners who did everything they could to accommodate us. We live in luxury and it often seems impossible to stay in luxury when we go away but this couple have absolutely achieved it.

Only criticism and it is small is that there was very limited space in the bathroom to put your ' toiletries ' down easily - maybe a shelf would help.

We loved the summer house, and had such a relaxing stay! Delicious breakfasts, a spotless and comfortable room, lovely garden and amazing hosts Kirsten and Trevor! They were so welcoming and we felt at ease straight away. Tea/coffee and snacks available at the larder were a great touch too - especially enjoyed in the garden! Having evening drinks available was wonderful too. The summer house is perfectly situated too to either stroll into penzance or explore newlyn/mousehold on foot. Really recommend!

Kirsten and Trevor have put a great deal of thought into making The Summer House a most welcoming and comfortable guest house. We received a warm welcome from Trevor, together with a nice cup of tea and slice of lemon drizzle in their lovely courtyard garden, which was so nice after a long journey to Penzance. The Summer House is beautifully decorated and includes some of Kirsten's lovely artwork. Everywhere is spotlessly clean and our room and bed was very comfortable, with everything we could possibly need, and there were snacks available in the pantry if we were peckish. Unfortunately we were unable to sample the breakfast that has received so much praise from other guests as we had to leave early due to Penzance Helicopters messing up our plans. However Trevor was kind enough to get up early to organise some croissants for us so we had some food inside us. We had hoped to stay on our return journey to Penzance but once again Penzance Helicopters ruined our plans and we were unable to.

Everything about the Summer House was perfect. The house itself is a delight, the hosts were really lovely people who welcomed us like we were family then discretely withdrew but were always available if needed. Our room (with a tiny sitting room beside) was tastefully decorated and very comfortable. Breakfast was top restaurant quality with excellent choices. We walked to the Summer House from the train which was a bit of a hike but quite doable (I'm a fit 76 year old). We walked to restaurants (need to book ahead) and around the town and hired bikes to cycle to St Michael's Mount.

I can't think of anything that was not just as I would like it.

Absolutely loved our stay here. Trevor and Kirsten went out of their way to make us feel welcome and the personal touches are so genuinely thoughtful. It’s rare to experience hospitality like this. We really appreciated the local tips and tourist advice, and the breakfast was the most wonderful way to start the day. Location is perfect, right on the beautiful promenade and a short walk into the town centre. The rooms are cosy and inviting and I wish we could have stayed longer.

This is a very unigue place to have a stay in Penzance. Kirsten and Trevor runs the Hotel with only 5 rooms. Kirsten is an artist, and he lovely paintings is all over, together with different fine art, so it is mostly Trevor who you meet. When you get into the house, you do not think you are in a hotel. You feel you are in a very, very fine private house with fine styling, and a quite small garden, where you can relax with a glass of vine. Breakfast is splendid and Kirsten/Trevor who are so friendly, will do their allmost to fulfil your needs. Do not miss the opportunity to have a stay in this lovely hotel, but you have to book early. In this Hotel everything was splendid.

Everything! Trevor and Kristin are delightful hosts. we were plenty close enough to walk to the train and buses. we walked to Mousehole and back. the bed was comfortable. the bathroom was large and clean. we enjoyed treats and drinks in the lovely garden each evening. breakfast is superb! I tried just about everything on the menu. Trevor’s Greek yogurt and compote was delicious. the Hollandaise was perfect. best bacon we have had on our 14 days in the UK. gorgeous poached eggs. And even the toast and jams were special! They made us feel very welcome and go the extra…

We’ve been walking the South West Coast Path for about five weeks and this was definitely one of our favorite accommodations. The rooms are impeccably decorated, beds are very comfortable, there is a sitting area and a garden to relax in, the breakfast room is charming, breakfast very tasty and the hosts are welcoming and accommodating. The wife is a painter and her art work hangs in the house and in the rooms. And it’s very good.
