Amazing service from friendly staff at all times (check in, use of sauna in the morning, check out, luggage storage). One of them helped with luggage up to our rooms seeing as we were knackered from hiking on check in, even though he didn't have to. Pool, sauna and steam room were clean and very relaxing. Great view from the room as well. Cozy bar and lounge space with sofas and a view. Our room had all the amenities you would expect in perfect condition (mini fridge, kettle, clean bath robe & towels, TV with English channels, etc).

As it was summer the hotel is not as well located - 8 min walk from bus or train stations, including through a trailer park that was a bit hot. If arriving from the airport with luggage, I suggest booking a transfer that drops you off directly at the hotel. Would be great if there was a small convenience shop within the hotel or nearby for essentials or food so we wouldn't have to leave the premises. However I note the bar does at least serve some snacks and frozen pizza/ready-made pasta so there was at least an option.

My stay at The Les Grands Montets was exceptional. The hotel is decor is in a quintessential Alpine style, which made it feel super warm and cozy. The view from my room was incredible! It felt more like I was coming home, instead of staying in a hotel! I was always warmly greeted by reception, and all of the staff I interacted with were extremely welcoming and kind. They were ready to help with any questions I had regarding buses to trains to walks and restaurants. They truly went above and beyond to ensure my stay was as perfect as could be. Highly recommend a stay here!

The mattress was too firm but mostly worked it out with an extra duvet. The hot tub gets crowded and it's very small, so get in there before people return from skiing! Wifi does not work very well when everyone is in their rooms at night. Adding ports to the rooms would be helpful.

Clean and spacious rooms, wonderful spa, helpful and friendly staff, delicious breakfast, very close to Grands Montets ski area, comfortable lounge area for mingling with other guests.

‏The hotel was absolutely amazing and indescribably perfect, nestled in nature and surrounded by mountains, making it very suitable for families. My booking included a suite with two bedrooms, a living room, a kitchen, and a balcony overlooking the mountains. The hotel is about a 15-minute drive from Chamonix city center, which gave me a sense of privacy and tranquility. ‏There are free parking spaces available within the hotel premises. I especially loved the elegant hotel lobby in the morning and before bedtime. The hotel staff were wonderful, friendly, and helpful, making us feel comfortable and welcomed throughout our stay. ‏My stay with my wife and children was truly unforgettable. A big thank you to all the staff, and I will definitely come back again!

We stayed at this hotel for 1 night during our TMB. I think this was our best hotel stay of the trip. The room was a good size and came with a balcony. The beds were comfortable and the toiletries provided were high quality. The hotel had a nice spa and a green space in the back, which was great to hang out in after a long day of hiking. We had an early start the next day and hence didnt have breakfast.

The facility is 10-15 min walk from the main street but completely doable.

Perfect and clean hotel, the SPA pool sauna and jacuzzi were outstanding, a perfect place to stay during hiking the TMB. A few restaurants in the city centre but we were too exhausted to walk another mile after the hiking so stayed for small dinner in the Lobby

We liked the pool which was luxurious with an outside hot tub and sauna and steam room. The breakfast had a nice variety of local produce and included fruit, jams, vegetables and fresh baked goods.

The room was cramped with the bathroom barely being able to shut (the toilet was so close to the door). The paint work was chipped and a little shabby. We have a room with a balcony, the outside furniture and umbrella stand needed a clean down.

The hotel grounds and accommodation were beautiful, but what stood out were the staff. Very kind and welcoming on check in, and when I unfortunately suffered an injury they were professional and caring, called medical care and really took care of us. I couldn’t ask for more and will definitely stay again when I come back to complete the Tour de Mont Blanc, or to ski.

The breakfast was good and there was a very fine selection to chose from. The hotel seems a bit oldfashioned, but in reality it is very charming indeed. The spa area is top notch luxury! I had a great massage and there were many other spa options, and the staff were all magnificent, from the reception staff, who borrowed us a backpack when they noticed that we did not have one, when we were going on a small hike, and put up with our many questions in a very service minded way, to the bartender, and the cleaning- and breakfast staff. Our room on the 3rd floor had a fantastic view of the mountains, and the vast garden was so charming, both for relaxation during the day, and evening drinks. The most quiet and relaxing hotel experience I have ever had and with big mountains on each side of the hotel. Just awesome! I would love to go back some day.

Lovely location set with wonderful view from our room of Mont Blanc. Very cozy atmosphere with fantastic pool, sauna, spa area and quality gym. The breakfast was well worth the extra and had plenty of options. The bus stop is only a couple minutes walk and although there’s no on site restaurant, there’s plenty of places within a walk.

The room we had a duplex for 4 adults. Main room was a little small and the large windows during the day unfortunately needed the blinds drawn as otherwise the room would heat up too much, however that wouldn’t be a problem during the winter. The upstairs was very roomy, with its own toilet and basin.
