We have 4 weeks’ vacation in the Philippines in April, 1 of the weeks in Panglao and after some searching around in January, we went for Tip Top Hotel, Resto and Delishop. And we were not disappointed at all. We can really recommend this nice hotel. From the transport to the hotel, the receptionist and the staff, it was all perfect and always helping with a smile. We only ate one time in the restaurant, but also here service and food were perfect and to a acceptable price. And the Delishop so you can buy nearly everything if you don’t feel like having a big meal. The beach was close, but you need to walk around 10/15 minutes to get to it, because a big resort blocks the way. But in the positive way, there is not a lot of traffic down the road, so we take that as a advance. And a nice swimming pool just in the middle of a nice arrange garden. And Alona beach is really a nice one. As we say, everything was perfect

Nothing to complain about

Everything we need is in this hotel. The hot water and its pressure is the best we ever experienced from other hotels, the swimming pool is very clean and family friendly. The beds are very comfortable and we were able to sleep well. The extra snacks provided for free made my kids very happy. They were happy to provide extra bed for my baby for free too! And the best is the water heater and drinking water provided for free inside the room! And then, the cloth hangers outside is so helpful, because we always.swim everyday! Everything is perfect!

I booked a big room and it was great! Clean, good size bathroom with a nice shower, balcony with table, chairs and clothes rack. Good laundry service as well. The pool was very nice too. It was great having water dispenser, kettle and coffee in the room :) Location was perfect for me: away from the busy roads and just 10/15mins walk to the beach, very safe at night and not dark ;) However, depending on the guests it can get loud at night, I used earplugs.

Some guests went to the pool at night and were quite loud until late. Not ideal when all the tours have a very early start. They don’t accept card payment. Don’t book transport with them, it’s overpriced. I went from Tagbilaran port and get a shared van on the spot for 350. Just outside the hotel up the road you can get a trike for max 400 to the port. Airport is much closer so it should be even less. ;)

The staff is really accommodating. Nica is very approachable and has excellent customer service skills. The owner was also really accommodating guests. The restaurant in front of the hotel held a nice schnitzel night and even has a live singer. The room was really spacious and clean. I love that it has a balcony and has a drying rack which allowed us to dry our wet clothes. You really get what you pay for and even has a pool you can have a little dip in. Overall stay was great and surely will book again here.

All meals (7) that we had in the restaurant were delicious and good value for money. It was evident that expats that lived locally also frequented the restaurant for a good meal. The menu was extensive with Swiss, western and Filipino dishes. The rooms were of an old style which meant that they were spacious but the aircon was a modern split system - cool and quiet. The shower pressure was good with plenty of hot water. The staff were pleasant, friendly and well trained. This place is a gem we will be back. They also organized a tour driver for us who was excellent.

This hotel was a hidden oasis that allowed for a relaxing stay in the middle of a very busy Alona Beach area. Our unit was at the back, away from the street, with a serene pool surrounded by lush foliage. The room was reasonably large with a small fridge and tv. The on site restaurant is amazing, with a mix of Philippino, European and Western dishes. The staff went above and beyond during our stay. Would highly recommend for the price.

The only downside to the hotel is that you must walk close to one kilometer to the beach. Not a big deal for us, but something to consider.

This hotel had the best restaurant in town! There were such a variety of items that we ate there for every meal. The prices were very reasonable and the staff were all excellent. Our room was huge with everything we needed, and we really enjoyed having a pool on site. A special thanks to Nika who arranged all of our tours and transportation. She did a wonderful job! Thank you, Nika, you were awesome! Bob and Angela from room 10.

Very friendly staff (especially the on-site restaurant which is really handy and has a solid range, good food and decent portions: thanks Stella, Ina and everyone else), huge room, great pool, plenty of drinking water available, hot showers.

In the hotter parts of the day it was a longer walk to the beach. You could take a trike if it was a problem.
