We arrived very early, 6am and the hotel were very accommodating and provided us a room straight away. We had booked a room with sea view. The wi-fi was not working upon arrival and shortly after checking in we were offered a room on a different floor, the WiFi was working on that floor but the view from the room was amazing. I woke every morning to watch the sunrise during our three day stay there. I would definitely recommend a room with view of the lagoon. See attached pictures of sunrise. The staff have a basic grasp of English and it was more than my Spanish but they were very helpful and where we couldn't understand each other we used Google translate. We had meals in the restaurant, the menu was changed whilst we were there and compared to other places nearby the cost was slightly cheaper. There is a small pool and some seating by the lagoon, it was nice to sit by the lagoon and watch the boats go by and also there was a bit of a breeze there. It was very hot and humid during our stay so the breeze was much welcomed. Our room was a good size, we had two double beds. The air-conditioning was much needed at some times to cool down and worked well. There is a smart tv although we didn't really use this much during our stay. Taxi was arranged for us to go to the bus station when we were leaving. Overall really enjoyed our stay at the hotel, it was a 20 minute walk to where we had arranged a boat trip of the lagoon and less than ten minutes by taxi to a supermarket. Highly recommend and would not hesitate to stay if we visited again.

Upon arrival I had a shower and the temperature was not great and then the water stopped mid way through the shower but when we moved rooms we had no issues with water temperature and the shower was great so I think this was just an isolated incident.

Nothing to do in the hotel, no lobby. The pool is tiny but nice. The deck to the lagune is not very friendly. No elevator can make the stay a bit complicated. Rooms can have a very different view of they are not above 3rd floor. Things to keep in mind

The location is perfect. It has direct access to the lagoon. The view is amazing. The food and drinks were excellent. The staff members were very helpful and professional.

🇬🇧 On paper, this hotel looks like a 5-star: modern building, new and spacious rooms with a large shower, and a truly spectacular view of the lagoon, perfect to enjoy the sunrise. Direct access to the lagoon is definitely a plus, although the water gets deep immediately so you can’t stand. The area is quiet and peaceful, ideal to relax. Too bad everything else ruins the whole experience. Upon arrival, instead of receiving a 5-star welcome, we were left standing with our backpacks on while the reception “organized” to give us the room. Nobody offered to help with our heavy luggage, not even for my girlfriend. And the cherry on top: not a single staff member spoke English. Zero. In a 5-star hotel. We had to communicate through Google Translate. Simply unacceptable. The first room looked nice at first, but was full of problems: the toilet was leaking water, no toilet brush, and of course, you couldn’t throw paper inside but had to use a trash bin (yes, in a 5-star hotel). One evening the door lock broke while we were closing it, and the same night the toilet stopped working completely. After midnight, I wanted to take a shower… surprise: no water. I had to go out in a towel to ask reception. Maybe they turn off the water at night, who knows. The next day we were moved to the top floor: nice view, but no elevator meant climbing stairs every time. And while Wi-Fi was slow in the first room, up there it was completely non-existent. Reception told us bluntly: “Well, Wi-Fi doesn’t work on the top floor.” Fantastic. Our friends didn’t get lucky either: on the last night, when they returned to their room at 11pm, they found the lights, fan, and air conditioning all broken. They had to change rooms in the middle of the night — luckily there were some available, otherwise they would have slept by the pool. Breakfast was another disaster. The “continental breakfast” included barely any fruit, a tiny bit of yogurt, bread, and a coffee or cappuccino.
