Almost everything! Room was great with its only little kitchenette-ideal for making breakfast. Loved the history of the place and that each room was named after a sport. Very impressed too that sustainability is part of the ethos. Perfectly located for Innsbruck - J bus stops outside the property and in about 10/15 mins you are in the city. 20 minutes or so in the other direction on the bus you can get the cable up one of the mountains at Patscherkofelbahn . Also free transport on bus / tram with the Welcome card given by the hotel. The village of Igls is small but stunning with a variety of restaurants, coffee and ice cream places. We were there for a long weekend 3-7 July which coincided with Igls local summer festival which was just a lucky extra for us 😀

While the pool was not huge it was a good size for a dip however we found it very cold although the board said it was 28.9c

We stayed at Sporthotel Igls for one night, late check-in and early check-out. It is conveniently located in the center of Igls. We didn't have time to use the spa, as it closed too early. There is a restaurant in the hotel and a couple of restaurants across the street. Parking area was okay and free of charge, right behind the hotel.

My booking included Genius Level 3 breakfast and there was a confusion at check-in whether or not this applies to both guests or just me who booked it. However, this was solved professionally with a positive outcome and we enjoyed the very good breakfast buffet in the morning.

Very nice location. Hotel is located in a nice old building. The hotel has a restaurant. I really enjoyed the food and service - was lucky enough with the weather to sit outside to enjoy the food and evening. There is sufficient parking (although not sure for how long as it looks like the parking is gonna be consumed by a construction in near future. Very tasty and good breakfast. Rather limited choice, but good quality.

The room was ok. A bit of small. But strangely very low ceilings. Also the corridors to the rooms. And certainly the (paid) parking under the hotel (I'm 1.95m tall and felt not being able to walk up straight). I did not like the bathroom. One had to take a shower in a very narrow super slippery bathtub. Very low water pressure. The standards of the room and bathroom were quite different than the impression one gets when entering the hotel. Not sure if I would come back.

The food was great (breakfast and dinner), you should really try their Wiener Schnitzel. Staff was very friendly too. The breakfast buffet was elaborate with a lot to choose from. It's easy to get to and from Innsbruck, a bus goes every 10 minutes with a bus stop right across the street. The hotel is close to the shops, other restaurants, ski rental and supermarket. A smaller skiing area is close too, but it only has a few lifts. The bigger ones are reachable by public transit/ski busses but take 30-60 minutes to get to. The 1 person business room was comfortable, clean and spacious. The bed was very nice too, comfort wise. The bathroom was very spacious and clean.

The room was hard to cool down which made sleeping rather fitful as I like to sleep in a cold cold room, even with heater off and an open window. That made me very alert to the creaking of the bed, which I normally wouldn't be. The shower could have sprayed more powerfully, but it had a water saving shower head so you had to always take it in your hand to use it best. Little storage space for your clothes, closet wise.

Beautiful and convenient location. 20 minutes bus from Innsbruck centre and bus stop is right outside the hotel. The hotel gave us free bus passes for the duration of our stay which meant we could come and go as we pleased without worrying about the cost. The hotel itself was nice and clean. Staff friendly and housekeeping excellent. Great view of the mountains from our rooms which were nice and spacious.

No AC or fans available. It was really hot during our stay but there were no fans were provided. That and the breakfast. A bit pricey for what it was and nothing was labelled in English which meant we couldn’t differentiate between vegetarian and non-vegetarian. We only had breakfast the first day but went out after that.

Lovely location in the mountains, not so far from Innsbruck. Spacious rooms, nice spa but a small swimming pool. The balcony with the mountain view was lovely. Might go back when it is snowing. It was very quiet and cozy throughout the day, The breakfast was ok but having a sparkling wine for breakfast was a nice touch.

The checkin time is at 4 PM and checkout is 11AM and I was given a call at sharp 11 to check out. Since I stayed only for a night I thought it was unfair to not have such late checkin but early checkout. The breakfast is good if you eat sausages and ham and meat but for a vegetarian it did not feel worth the price. There was no one at the spa to help with towels or no instructions, I went to the reception to ask about towels and bathrobes and had to carry them myself to the spa.

Most important the manager Michael was absolutely amazing, nothing was too much trouble, very friendly and helpful and a great leader. The hotel had a very quintessential Austrian feel and decor, the waitresses were very friendly and helpful and there was a good selection of food in the restaurant which tasted very good. We didn't use the spa facilities, but what we saw of them was very good and clean. Location had great access everywhere. A must stay if you are in the area

The room was nice and spacious. I loved that the hotel provided a free bus pass for tourism. I explored so much and loved visiting Innsbruck.

A fire alarm went off at 11 pm and there was no one on staff there, so all the guests vacated the hotel and waited for an exasperated fireman to shrug his shoulders. The front desk person said in the morning that a cook was there, but I think he ducked out early because there did not seem to be anyone on staff there making phone calls but guests. And anyway, I’ve never before stayed at a hotel that was not staffed overnight. Strange, but there was no fire so I guess nbd ultimately. Guests don’t expect to have to be the ones to call emergency services is all.

Got an amazing, spacious room with an excellent view of the mountains. Room got everything you might need and also a very spacious bathroom. Loved the hotel atmosphere, and super friendly staff. Loved it that it was a little bit outside of Innsbruck, in this way you were close to the nature. Perfect for hiking and unwinding in the forest. There is also a little lake close by if you fancy a swim (paid entrance). Bus connection to the city center is superb, and the bus stop is literally next to the hotel entrance. Sadly didn't have time to explore all facilities but would definitely come back.

The hotel is located in a quiet village with a beautiful outlook to the mountains and a free bus every 10 minutes to the centre of Innsbruck. The breakfasts were delicious and we also chose to eat in the hotel restaurant each night - again: delicious! There were also several other dining options in the village. All staff were very friendly and helpful . The spa (sauna and heated indoor pool) were wonderful! And there was free parking too.

It was too hot inside but windows could be opened and there was outdoor seating available on the balcony and in the garden.
