This room is definitely the best option to stay in Essen. The location is simply amazing - stepping outside Lime Home, you are literally in the middle of the city, close to all tourist attractions, 2 minutes from an underground station and 7 minutes from Essen's central train station. Access to the building and room is all done through access codes, which is very practical and safe. The room - a kind of loft, is very spacious, clean and comfortable. It has everything you will need for a great stay. I will certainly stay here next year.

In a few moments, I could hear some very low noise of conversation coming from the next room - which certainly doesn't bother me.

Everything..the apartments location, 10 mins walking from station, restaurants bars and cafes nearby. The apartment was fully equipped, fridge microwave, two burner hotplate, dishwasher, coffee machine. Fabulous shower bathroom, comfortable bed.

The inane and long winded check-in procedure before even arriving. Uploading id's, selfie picture...if I could drop 1 1/2 stars I would. The apartment fabulous, the check-in procedure and absolute pain.

The place was a small studio with all the facilities a house would need. The room is cozy and the building is well located. It's self-check-in via a link they sent to my email and everything went smoothly. The instructions to access the building and my room were also very clear. There was a welcome gift when I arrived - that was cute! It was a surprise to find that there was not only a blow dryer but a diffuser as well, that's not very common to find and definitely useful for somebody with curly hair.

The walls were not very noise cancelling, although it was not strong enough to wake up from that. I didn't need to use the earplugs provided in the gift box. However, in my room, the light from the microwave was too bright at night and it was a little annoying, so I needed to cover it.

The information was clearly communicated online. It's like a tiny apartment, which is suitable for business trips. There was space, clean room, privacy and everything one can wish for an end of a working day.

It's a digital hotel, so there's no staff. There was a slight clogged in the shower and I didn't find an option to communicate it.

-the apartment looked gorgeous. It was better than I expected with complementary tea and coffee left by the staff. That was a very nice touch that I sure appreciated. -very comfortable beds. I slept very good in them. -good shower kit and bonus items. The goodie bag left by the staff included a tooth brush which I found useful. -self check in worked well but I did panic a bit as the unlock mechanism didn't work immediately after inputting the correct code.

-the area. It's not the fault of the limehome folks. Their apartment is great and I had an amazing time in there. But the area was far too noisy. People being out on the street and shouting at 1 am. I have also been accosted by at least 3 individuals on the way there. I don't speak German so I just remained silent but it was still an uneasy experience especially when people block your way and want something from you. -if you visit during the warm season it might be a problem if you have to choose between open windows and noise, or closed windows and no cool air coming from the outside -i didn't take pictures of the outside because I just wanted to rush inside and avoid getting mugged or something XD

It’s very close to the train station, there are good shops around, for food, shopping, eating. The bed is very nice, I like it. The room is not big, but it’s organized with good design.

The check-in time is a little late. Not very easy to find it on the street since there is no sign out of the building that tells the name of it.

The location was amazing. The apartment was compact but had everything you needed. It was clean and the bathroom and shower were lovely.

The only thing I would suggest is fitting aircon rather than a fan as having the windows open you could hear the church bells from early. But this wouldn’t stop me from staying again.

- great location, right next to the Christmas market; - very clean; - amazing design with fake plants making the place so cozy! - two separate blankets are a wise choice ;) - most of the essentials were covered for us, including the kitchen appliances; - stunning bathroom; - 24/7 service; - no contact Check in and out (perfect!); - very precise instructions on how to access the room; - coffee in capsules! - haribo welcome gift; - very big TV with Netflix, YouTube, etc.;

Nothing really, but there is of course always a room for improvement, therefore my feedback: - hygiene female products in the bathroom would be appreciated; - walls are quite thin and therefore everything is audible; - shower drainage seemed a bit clogged - water overflowed; - no state channels - could not watch fifa inside;

Clean, comfortable, walking distance to train station.

Did not have WiFi during our stay, which made things difficult. Curtains would not stay up due to crack in mounting frame. Loud delivery overnight (noisy if you have windows open). Garbage in stairwell. Took hr to hear back from staff regarding issue initially.

That was one of the best experience with the hotels ever! The check in is contactless, every step is explained and very easy to follow. The room was surprisenly big, cosy and clean. They left some nice sweet presents for me. The location of the hotel is very comfortable, everything that you need is 3-5 minutes apart. Extremely pleasant stay! I will absolutely definitely book it again if I will go to Essen. Thanks a lot!
