Lovely friendly staff and very attentive friendly hosts. The room was great, and the shower was excellent. Food was very good and reasonably priced as was the beer! Included cooked breakfast was very good.

Our room faced the road and we needed the windows open as it was hot. Even though i always sleep with earplugs i still got woken up occassionally by passing traffic throughout the night. A fan would be a good addition to the room as it did get very warm as there wasn't much of a breeze. I would stay here again, but i'd definately ask for a room at the back next time :-)

Our room was fantastically clean and comfortable. There was plenty of tea/coffee/milk and biscuits. Toiletries were supplied, and the bath towels were huge, and I love large bath towels, so for me, this was a huge positive. Bed was comfortable, too, and the room was bright. Plenty of storage for clothing and bags and good quality tv. Staff were friendly and welcomed us in with big smiles. Explained all we needed to know with regards to eating in the pub downstairs to breakfast timings and leaving/entering the pub during closed times. Although our room was on the roadside, beyond this, the views were beautiful to wake up to.

I am a bit of a light sleeper, so I found that I was up with the morning traffic, 6am, as the pub is located on a main road and our room was alongside it. I don't want this to be a negative, though. I should have taken my earbuds and would recommend you take some just in case you find you're a light sleep too.

Room was very clean and offered what we needed. Everything was lovely and clean. Dinners were lovely we ate there 2 out of our 3 night stay. Breakfast was also good.

Pillows in room were very flat and could do with being replaced, I woke up with headaches on two of the mornings due to these being so flat. Room felt a little dated. Breakfast times could be extended as we were limited between 8 and 9 am.

Right from the star, the parking was right outside, the first meeting was very welcoming, the room was perfect in every way, all we needed, plenty of storage, plenty of hangers too! The room was lovely and clean likewise the bathroom/shower was great, the creaky floorboards just added to the charm of the room! Our evening meal was superb and the menu had plenty of choice and the following mornings breakfast was also great, with plenty of choice too. After a whole day of walking around the Brecon Four Falls you could not wish for such a nice place to come back to, it ticked every box, thankyou so much.

Great location for the Brecon Beacons. We were going up Pen Y Fan for an event and it was perfect - just 15 minutes. Really friendly pub with superb staff. Rooms were great, really comfortable beds and plenty of space. We ate breakfast and dinner in the restaurant both days we stayed. The food was faultless - some of the best pub food we’ve had. Chips are next level and the breakfast black pudding was excellent.

Linda, Andy, and all the staff were so welcoming. Lovely room with a comfy bed and a great shower. The food and service were fantastic. Spotlessly clean, and nice little touches like having plenty of tea, coffee, biscuits and milk, and toiletries in the room. I would highly recommend staying here.

There was nothing I didn't like. Parking can be a bit hit and miss because of the unique shape of the building.There is a large community centre car park just across the road which we used so this was no issue at all.

Very comfortable beds and room. The Inn was also very quiet during our stay. A special mention to the owners that arranged a late check-in for us at the last minute and was available to talk to us late in the evening. We enjoyed a typical full breakfast in the morning. The location is convenient to visit Brecon Beacon and you will find tourist information in the room.

On arrival we were worried about parking as all the spaces outside were taken, however there was resident parking to the rear of the building :-). Both morning and evening meals were excellent ( fast service but we did not feel rushed and was told that the table was ours for the evening ). All the staff were amazing, nothing was too much trouble and they were very kind and happy.

When we left on the Sunday I explained to them to just keep doing what you are, these people have really got this lovely business worked out to a T and should be really proud of themselves. 10/10

We stayed for one night to do some walking in the area. The welcome in the evening was lovely and there were 3 other dogs in the bar which made us feel very welcome with our dog. Food was okay - great for meat eater, a little less so for vegetarian. The room was good - had everything we needed. Breakfast was back in the bar and restaurant (bar for us as we had the pooch) which was a bit lacking in atmosphere in the morning. The food selection was okay on the buffet, the cooked breakfast was excellent.

The biggest issue was that it was right on a main road which was quite noisy in the night, especially as we like to sleep with the window open. Would have been nice if the fire was lit in the bar for breakfast - was cold and a little lifeless in there.

We had a nice time just a few little things that could have been better. The owners were kind and friendly. Room was pleasant and enjoyed the sunshine. Kettle with tea and coffee in the room. Nice breakfast.

Would have liked a pot of tea at breakfast rather than make cup with warm water. Room was a little noisy from what we think was a fan from another room and early morning traffic noise. It was quite a step up into the shower and no handle to help steady.
