I had a lovely stay at the Dragonfly Hotel in King’s Lynn! The room was cosy, nicely decorated, and spotlessly clean – a perfect retreat after a long day. It was a particularly hot weekend (28–30°C), and I really appreciated that the hotel provided a fan in the room to make things more comfortable. The staff were very friendly and welcoming throughout my stay. I want to give a special mention to Irena, who was serving dinner on the evening I dined in – she was incredibly kind, attentive, and made the experience feel even more personal. All in all, a great stay – I’d happily come back again!

The only small suggestion I would make is regarding the breakfast – it would be great to have a few fresh vegetable options like tomatoes or cucumbers, as not everyone enjoys baked beans.

Room wasn’t made up after the first night. I was told at reception the following morning that it was my fault because I hadn’t left the sign on the door. Nonsense! I’ve been staying in hotels for work for 30 years and never heard such rubbish. Restaurant food was poor but it wasn’t expensive either. Plenty of places in Kings Lynn to eat. At breakfast my table was regularly cleared while I made tea. This resulted in food that would have been eaten thrown away. If travelling alone you can’t protect your table all of the time.

The breakfast was really nice, but surprised that it was help yourself. It was well cooked and presented.

Breakfast was help yourself, which we felt a bit let down, there was a gentleman cleaning tables who didn’t acknowledge our presence at all, even to explain it was self service. It wasn’t until we had eaten that we found out we could have had fried egg( partner doesn’t eat scrambled egg) but there were no staff around to ask and guy cleaning tables ignored us. Apart from that, we enjoyed our stay and would stay there again. Other staff were very nice and friendly.

the staff were so helpful. Logging in the car and at check in. kindly provided a second duvet as we like two even on one bed due to caterpillar roll by one of us and we'd forgotten to bring one! Breakfast hours from 7 to 10 meant all of us were happy as two of us early risers and two lay inners. Beds really comfortable. Quiet despite the nearby A road and ony heard neighbouring room once. Clean, tidy and comfortable. Gives a great option rather than the chain budget hotels and if more than a few nights as we were there are chain burger, chicken and pizza places around the corner or Kings Lynn 40 min walk, a bus or 10 mins by car. It was a great choice for us.

Did exactly it said on the tin, I was there for a one night work stay. Staff super friendly and helpful, as an example I pitched up at 8:55 pm to ask for food, the kitchen shuts at 9pm and they hadn't cooked anything for a couple of hours, rather than a surly response (which seems common nowadays) I was greeted with a smile and a "yes of course we can" ... good honest pub grub style dinner. Breakfast had good choices and great coffee !! Room, clean and tidy and everything worked The whole place had a friendly feel. Highly recommend it for a short functional stay and much better value than its national chain competitors.

Superb location, ample parking with many chargers for electric cars, cosy rooms, bar and restaurant, modern facilities, very clean. Staff kind to replenish supplies on request. Food and drinks available at the bar/restaurant.

No lift to the upper floor, having to drag heavy luggage up the stairs albeit staff at reception kindly offered a hand. The heating in our room was not working but a very good electric heater was provided and felt warm and cosy. Only one plug switch under the TV, just above the room desk, not being able to use the kettle and have the TV on at the same time. No hot chocolate available at the restaurant or at breakfast time when travelling with children or as an alternative to coffee or tea.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Food was amazing. Chife was very Accommodating. The room was very clean and didn't need to use the radiator as it was lovely and warm.

Unfortunately on Last night the was lots off Commotion throw out the night due to a drunken guest was very noisy coming in and out off a fire exit report to staff but the staff on shift didn't seem bothered and also 2 Vehicles would park up side not in the proper bar park and there was parked in front of the property on a drop down curve Also the key cards got deactivated at 10 AM instead of 11 AM

A good, inexpensive motel. Comfortable bed, and a decent size work-desk with a hard chair for those, like me, who had work to do in the evening

The lighting! There are two, dim, amber-coloured lights in the bedroom, both at waist level and attached to a wall, so situated that when you sit at the work desk and try to work your own shadow completely obscures the keyboard. There is no overhead ceiling light. This arrangement might be good if your visit was intended for romantic purposes, but not otherwise. Unless you are good at touch typing, make sure you pack a lamp in your luggage!

This hotel is ideally located for getting into Kings Lynn and beyond. The staff were all very friendly and helpful both in terms of the services they provided and local information. Reminded us to log the car in for the stay and check in is easy. Eating there after a long drive was welcome and the chef accommodating for specific needs. Breakfast is set out and the team refill it regularly. Rooms were clean and tidy, with hanging space, shelves and bag space suitable for three nights. Shower once mastered was great. A bonus green woodpecker out the back each morning and rabbits on the lawn!

The room was quiet and comfortable. I had requested a room with shower rather than bath due to mobility issues and was mailed straight away to advise that not only had they met this request but had placed us on the ground floor to save having to navigate the stairs

The bare minimum food was laid out for breakfast so we had to ask for more bread for toasting. Would have liked a fried egg with my full English, however what was supplied was tasty. Navigating that massive roundabout to get to the hotel was a nightmare!
