Very nice place, and I stayed in the one bedroom apartment, the same pictures, so clean apartment comfy bed and the shower was the best. next to the cathedral, so quiet for sleep, just a few minutes walking the town, near shops and pubs and tram and bus. High recommended. When I am back again to Sheffield, I hope to stay there. Thanks

Very friendly manager and on-site cleaners Location superb at the back of Sheffield Cathedral. Within walking distance of several supermarkets, bars, restaurants and the city centre. Supertram and bus stops nearby. Very quiet location. Comfortable beds. Good shower. Very clean. Dishwasher was a bonus but not sure why this wasn't listed on the website.

Minimal crockery 4 plates, 4 side plates, 4 mugs, 4 glasses, only 1 sharp knife, 1 wooden spoon, etc. No mixing bowls or can opener. Only one bedside table (although nowhere to put one) and no shelf for glasses / phone either. No hooks for spare towels or to hang up towel to dry and only small towel heater in bathroom. Second key to the flat would have been helpful. Broken cooker hob. It worked but not pleasant to use. Alerted the manager who said a replacement hob would be fitted. No toaster - although there is an oven grill.

Great location centrally located, comfortable bed chairs and TV. Can't fault it for the price.

The photos are misleading, I wasn't expecting the wine and fruit but thought there would be tea and coffee. These aren't part of what I'm getting so don't put photos of them in the listing. Yes there is parking but it has nothing to do with the property and costs £10. Again I don't think it is in the spirit of booking.com to say there is parking offered when it's just the city carpark. The key was left in the door and not in the safe which could have caused a problem if some one else spotted it. The cleaners need to do a better job, the floor was dusty and sticky and there appear to be chips in the oven from a previous guest. All that said I think the owner would be better to remove these elements from the listing as it represents good value without the need to oversell the property.

I liked the central location, convenient for Sheffield City Centre. The apartment was quite spacious, clean, quality bathroom fittings, comefy double bed, lounge with two sofas.

The booking system may seem a little cumbersome, needing a security deposit, and an age proof i.d. emailed, and apartment access codes accessed only shortly before commencement of the booking. The company emailed me for my details that I had sent them the previous day, so it seems that they hadn't checked, but they were happily responding fairly promptly after a few hours to my messaging. It seems rather impersonal to just rely on messages although a direct phone number is available if things go wrong. So don't be put off, it's a city and checks are part of the system where you don't meet the proprietor i suppose. For me it's better than being in a hotel, more space and a kitchen as well. Recommended.

Great location, and it was easy to find. Everything was there that was needed. It could have just been a bit more luxurious. Basic decor that wouldn't take a lot to make it look more expensive. It would be helpful knowing which pictures relate to which apartment when booking. I would stay here again if the price was right.

The bathroom window could do with frosting. You had to pull the blind down every time you used it, as in full view of the houses across the street.

Great instructions for use of cooker etc. Not too many utensils (I preferred) places can sometimes be crammed with too many. All rooms were well laid out and presented. Washing machine was in a separate cupboard

It was a little on the warm side but I did stay whilst 30+ degrees (most places would of been the same) however there was a big fan available to use. Maybe there should of been a sign on the back of door asking other guests not to slam doors (was quite loud when guests were coming in and out)

Totally recommended!! Their photos are genuine! Completely value for money. 'Spacesavers' at 12 St James Row in Sheffield did truly their best to accommodate us in the best way. Our flat was actually on the 1st floor, which was reached only through a convenient staircase and where our keys were safely kept in a key box at the front door. But a secret pin is needed too, in order to enter the main entrance of this Savespacers's building. Even further specific other pins are needed to reach the separate garbage building's safe place. It is a red brick traditional style building outside, but with really nice and modern useful renovations inside, just next to the Sheffield Cathedral and at the heart of the city Centre. You can reach anything on foot or even take the tram, bus or taxi just outside the flat. Our renovated flat was Nr 3, a very convenient 'place like home' with two soundproof bedrooms which had a large bed for two each, with really soft and clean bed linen and mattresses, and with separate ensuite wonderful private bathrooms with all the relevant toiletries and towels each, facilitated by a storeroom, a hall and an open-space stylish spacious kitchen with a salon of 2 sofas, coffee table, smart tv, strong private wi-fi, and even a special complete dining table place. We had a refrigerator and freezer, a dishwasher, a washer-dryer clothes machine, a powerful well used oven with an electric kitchen and hood, a new microwave, a new toaster, a kettle, and all the necessary kitchen equipment and more. The whole flat had unique strong heating, a central one and even separate in the bedrooms, hall and the kitchen, too! We stayed there with our night light clothes, while outside was snowing and showed -5 degrees, and we really felt nothing of that bad weather! The staff and especially the Spacesavers's landlord was really kind and helpful, and immediately met any needs of ours. We will be definitely a returning customer there.

As an international guest,it's worth the stays. Convenient checked-in and checked-out as the host was very proactive and gave us instructions prior arrival to the property. Feels like home. Excellent location. Very clean apartment. Close to the city centre. Internet accessible, bedrooms facilities/amenities and kitchen utensils provided by the host of the property. We can do things as needed. The staff were very helpful, caring, has good interaction and communication levels to guests. I'm honoured that the host of the property does not required me for a deposit of this apartment. Thank you very much. Me and my family will be staying here again next visit for sure. Highly recommended for the stays.

It would be nice if the ironing facilities and iron are in place.

Location was perfect for a day/eve visiting the local bars. Very prompt and personal service/assistance when we couldn't find the code for the key lock.(My fault) Apartment a little basic but clean and tidy. Nice and warm on entry and throughout.

The mattress was unfortunately like a bag of spanners... Lumpy, creaky and a little small for a couple of our age.I ended up sleeping on the floor (although sleep was limited as I am 61). Think you really need to invest in a better one and an extra duvet/pillows.... But we survived. Carpark was actually good and close by but as first timers here, it was a little confusing as to where we could park as many of the spaces were reserved... All turned out ok tho.

We had a last minute stay in Sheffield and this was the perfect property. You won’t find a better location for the price the process was super easy and the owner was fast at responding and returned the deposit very quickly. The property had everything we needed, to be honest it was the comfiest sleep I’ve had in a long time. It was 2 min walk to the main shopping street and restaurants. Parking was only a 3 minute walk and only £10 for 24hrs which is cheap for Sheffield. Great to have a kitchen so we could cook. It was lovely thank you once again we will most definitely be back!

There wasn’t anything to not like the property was warm and comfortable had everything we needed and is perfect if you want something affordable. We didn’t want to leave!!
