After witnessing the total solar eclipse on April 8, 2024, near Lake Nimrod, we were in search of a place to spend the night. As soon as we found cell phone coverage, we stopped to look for accommodations near Hot Springs and quickly realized we were within walking distance of the Hot Springs Village Inn. This hotel was a delightful discovery. The receptionist was exceptionally kind both during check-in and later when we asked for recommendations on a place to have dinner. The hotel is meticulously maintained, both externally (I liked the beautiful flowerbed at the entrance) and internally, boasting modern and updated décor. Rooms were very clean, the bathroom was well-stocked with all necessary products, including a hairdryer, and the beds were exceedingly comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and provided an opportunity to meet other friendly guests who had also come for the eclipse. I highly recommend this property.

The location was perfect for us because it is the closest hotel to the trail heads we went to on the Ouachita Trail. The place is clean and tasteful. Our room was cleaned every day and provided with fresh towels and linens. The staff was courteous and professional. This is a decent low frill motel.

The only downside was the continental breakfast. There isn't much offered other than cereal, bananas, coffee, OJ, and Little Debbie cakes. There was no card guide for the television channels, so it took a while to figure out the channels on my own.

Rooms were extremely nice and newly renovated. I've never walked into a hotel room that nice before. Location is easy to get to and it's a very quiet place. The staff members we met were very friendly and polite. They even chatted with us some during breakfast. The continental breakfast was good and had several options to choose from as well.

There's nothing that we didn't like. No complaints here!

Clean, easy parking, very reasonably priced.

We were in a room adjoining another, but not sharing with the people in the adjoining room. We could hear every bit of their conversations, and they were not talking unusually loud. Maybe because the rooms aren’t carpeted (sound absorption), or the door is not insulated.

Enjoyed our stay- area was quiet. The woman that worked the night shift on the 8th and 9th and served breakfast on the mornings of the 9th and 10th was outstanding. She was super friendly, nice to visit with and breakfast was ready promptly at 6AM.

Everything was good or better!

The staff was great, everything was extremely clean, the beds were good and comfy, rooms had plenty of room, the location is excellent! This is an older Inn that is very well taken care of! I will probably stay at Hot Springs Village Inn every time that I am in the area from now on. You can't beat the quality for the price!

They do need to do just a little small updating here and there, the wallpaper in my bathroom was starting to fall off.

The staff is always very friendly and do their best to meet any of your needs. The rooms are clean and it’s a quiet stay. There are a few restaurants within walking distance as well as a grocery store.

There isn’t anything negative to say about this property. If you’re looking for a clean budget friendly stay, this is definitely worth the stay.

Everything was decent. Quiet, clean, access to several food venues & a grocery store.

The pillows were HARD! Bathroom sink/counter needs to be replaced or resurfaced at a minimum. Sink looked terrible.

As usual......STAFF is AMAZING! Facilities.......AMAZING! Accessibility.......AMAZING! We WILL be back again in 2025!! LOVE everything about this place!! Thank you & see you September 2025!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We had an early tee time so we didn’t get to enjoy breakfast but their Lobby is so clean and tidy.

It’s just an older hotel but you can tell they try to keep it extremely clean and lovely. Management cares about creating a good experience in an older hotel. It was perfect for what we needed.
