We travel each year during the holidays and this was our first stay in a Tru hotel. For the price, it was excellent. We loved the 24 hour coffee but it was not plugged in and was cold many times. We missed a microwave in the room but for the price, realize that we can do without. The breakfast bar was wonderful and offered different selections each day. The breakfast staff and many of the front desk staff were very helpful and nice. This is one of the cleanest hotels we have stayed in. Thank you for giving us this option in Chapel Hill.

Not Hot coffee in the lobby sometimes and better signs as to when the room would be cleaned. The cleaning staff was excellent but the web page and sign in the room said different things.

Clean and comfortable. Everyone was nice. Room was clean and comfortable. Coffee was really good. The morning clerk was extremely nice. She offered us breakfast during our checkout. We opted out due to testing being done at the hospital. She gave us a number to call for help with rooms for people in that situation. Amazing.

Night clerk wasn't the nicest, but it seemed a person before us irritated her. There wasn't a microwave in the room.

Good location for my son to spend the night because of bad weather and hard to commute from his home to work

I called the front desk and made sure that he could check in without any problem. I paid for the room for him. When he checked in they told him he had to pay $75. They should have told me that when I booked the room. Luckily they recognized him as a mail carrier who delivered their mail at sometimes and let him stay without the $75

Very modern and clean, great staff, the nicest hotel gym I’ve seen in this range (Peloton, dumbbells, kettlebells in addition to the standard treadmills).

Limited breakfast options - toaster wasn’t working and there was no vegetarian hot food item 2 out of 3 mornings we were there (e.g., ham omelets and sausages but no vegetarian omelet or scrambled eggs).

Property is new and clean. Simple, no frills but good value for money. They charge for parking. Booking.com says free parking which is not true. booking needs to correct that as it is very clear on their site and in the parking lot that it costs $5 or $7 per day

Breakfast is very simple but included. The sheets are not very comfortable but we are picky that way.

I think the hotel was modern and the common areas were brightly lit and felt welcoming not like someone is trying to hide something. The furnishings in the room were modern and clean and the bathrooms were roomy and very well stocked. The bed was extremely comfortable and there were plenty of electrical outlets.

The front-end staff could have looked cleaner. Just didn't feel approachable, hospitable. She wasn't rude, but didn't get the warm feeling that i get from other hotels I stay.

Well located spot in between Durham & Chapel Hill near the highways, so pretty easy to drive to everything. It's new, so in great shape, has lots of power outlets, that kind of thing, so as your regular off-the-highway hotel goes it's better than most. There are foosball tables in the lobby which our son loved.

Breakfast was about average as far as free breakfasts in hotels like this go - not the best we've had and not the worst.

Location was good. Room was clean and the size was good. Heating was working fine as well. The breakfast is also ok.

They did not clean the room in 4 nights. A friend ask them after 3 nights and they did do it, but they were supposed to clean each other day.

Tru Hill exceeded my expectations. This was a fantastic hotel. Exceptionally friendly staff, spotless rooms, so incredibly quiet. Affordable too. They have have their own pancake machine which I have never seen at any other hotel. My only gripe was they do have someone staffed for the breakfast room who seems to be watching at all times, but she is super nice. Would absolutely stay again.

modern. exceptional design. very comfortable sleeping facilities (SERTA "dream Sleeper). wife loved, loved wanted to take it home. the staff, was warm and friendly an acknowledging and let's not forget their amazing automatic pancake making machine alone with free breakfast (delicious).

no real complaint. was a busy weekend when we visited. floors could have been swept a little better, but overall room was comfortable and clean as was bathroom, was clean and well designed.
