We really enjoyed our stay here. Fernando and his family were really kind, friendly and made us feel very welcomed. They provided us with many useful tips and information about the area and what to visit. The home-made breakfast was also delicious. The location is great, within walking distance to the main attractions and to the city center. The terrace and balcony provide an incredible view over the city and sea; loved spending time in both of them. The room is cozy, perfectly clean and the bed is very comfortable. Thank you for the great hospitality, we fully recommend staying in this place!

Location, right outside the old city walls with spectacular views. Host, the nicest family owns the property, they meet you at the property when you arrive, they are really helpful with tons of information. The property is great, very nice room, great views, beautiful common areas, with a full kitchen and an upstairs/rooftop lounge. Breakfast WOW! Full breakfast including Eggs cooked to order, Pastries, Coffee, including Capacino, Expresso, etc. Juice, cheese, ham, excellent. This was easily the best place we stayed during our two weeks in Portugal. Only regret is we did not have longer to spend!

Nothing! Everything was great!

Not knowing anything about Lagos and the surrounding coastal communities, we found this to be an ideal location. Everything was remodeled well and the room had everything you'd need. Our room also had the most amazing window that could open wide for fresh air or bring blinds down for blackout. The upper deck patio was our haven at the end of every day as we'd transition into evening. Perfect spot for wine and cheese with an INCREDIBLE view! Breakfasts were fabulous and everybody running this place does it with love and care for the guests. We feel beyond lucky to have found this spot! Last, when you arrive, Fernando will give you a paper with "suggestions". Take his suggestions, he's genuine and every location we visited was wonderful. We will be back!!!

Our room was even better than the photos, and although is not a huge room (for american standards) it is a great size and it has absolutely everything you may need. The bathroom was large, the shower had nice water pressure and there was a hair dryer and magnifying mirror in the bathroom. We had the best view of the sunrise from our window. Breakfast in the upper floor terrace was incredible. Really nice variety of food, plus a la carte eggs!!! Cherry on the cake was the amazing family that runs this bed and breakfast. They are the loveliest people you'll ever meet and they had plenty of recommendations to share with the guests to make their stay even more wonderful. Also, they are only a short walk away to the center of town and all Lagos has to offer. I wholeheartedly recommend staying here, you will not be disappointed.

Loved the breakfast on the rooftop with beautiful views of Lagos! The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Our room had a comfortable bed, black out blinds, safe, and all was extremely clean! You had your own mini fridge and small communal kitchen. Very well appointed! Great location, close to everything!

Didn’t care for the opaque bathroom barn door that let too much light into the room and a bit noisy when you are trying to sleep and your partner has to get up to go to the bathroom. It door was pretty any a space saver . But even with that we would stay here again! Everything else outweighed this.

Everything about Uptown B&B was exceptional! The host Fernando was a wealth of info, as was Jessica who gave us a great welcome to Uptown and was so friendly throughout!! All the ladies who worked there were fantastic! The room was spotless, the views in the common room/balcony were unmatched! Breakfast was superb, choosing between made to order scrambled or fried eggs, freshly made coffee, and great tarts etc. unbelievable!! It was November and there was a fire in the evening in the common room! The attention to detail here consistently shows how much the owners care about your comfort and enjoyment!! There were more facilities provided than ever expected - could not recommend more!!

The location was excellent, a short walk to the city. We loved the upstairs terrace! Breakfast was great and Fernando and his wife were so helpful and such great hosts! All the staff were excellent. The shared kitchen was appreciated too, it was nice to keep a little food and wine in the fridge so we could prepare a snack and enjoy it on the terrace.

The rooms are not sound proof so you can hear your neighbours but only if they were noisy.

Very well run family business. Everyone was very cordial, accommodating, informative and friendly. Breakfast on the terrace was delicious - eggs, variety of breads, pastries (abundance of the wonderful pastels de nuta) and as much coffee as I asked for. The view from the upper terrace was amazing in the morning and while having a glass of wine in the evening to end the day, as advertised. The view from our room was also as advertised and enjoyable to wake up to. We found out that there was a larger room next to ours and we will choose that one the next time we visit. Our room was attended to daily and we had everything we needed in the shared Kitchen. There were three rooms on our level and we really appreciated the way that there were three cupboards, and three mini fridges provided so that each room could have their own private and separate space containing plates, cups, glasses and utensils. The place is only minutes away from the waterfront and the walk took us through streets with restaurants, pastry shops, bars and all the souvenir shops needed.

The property is just great. A family business running this small B&B perfect for staying in Lagos. It is super new and quiet. Maybe the rooms aren’t that big but when in Lagos you go around, visiting places so you don’t need big rooms! If you just want to relax there is the amazing terrace where they serve breakfast with a great view and you can stay there for the whole day if you want. You also have a kitchen, in case you need to cook. Fernando, the owner, is very friendly and happy to give you a lot of advices on where to go.

It was all good. It is maybe just a shame the terrace closes at 10pm, but it is I think to avoid people staying there making noise.

An accommodation with a great location close to the centre of Lagos. The staff was very friendly, always helpful and full of great advice on places to visit at the Algarve. Within Lagos the most places are within walking distance and we spent a great time.

The bed in our room was very soft, so in case you struggle with it, this might be an issue. Otherwise, never mind and this location is an overall great place to stay at.
