Breakfast was beautiful. Federica made a new and different sweet item for breakfast every day. Day 1 we had a scone, as well as Irish breakfast, Day 2 was a lovely custard & date breton pie - my favourite, day 3 a pancake. All of this was with a full Irish plus fresh fruit. She did little thoughtful things, like once she realised I like Earl Gret tea, those were the ones that got left in the room for top ups. F gave us useful tips for the local area and for meals in Cliften.
Virtually nothing, (possibly she might take a look at the bedding/mattresses in a year or two) but a truly wonderful time

Absolutely everything was beautifully and well catered for. On arrival my mom and I were given the choice of a double or twin. While we waited we were given tea and coffee and a biscuit. Our room had everything we needed and was super cozy and comfortable. The location is amazing along the sky round and the breakfast area is perfectly placed for the great view. Breakfast was amazing. We had a fruit salad to start, Irish fry and lovely homemade tart. Frederique is kind and lovely and enthusiastic. We loved every moment.

On our trip to Ireland we stayed in five airbnbs. Clifden Bay Lodge was, by far, the best. Location, view, comfort were very good. Small things, like good size, clearly labeled containers of shampoo and soap that did not require flashlight to read helped. Breakfast was memorable with home baked pastries. The owner made the place special.
It is tough to complain but we heard snoring of guests in next room.

Everything about the property was superb. Frederique was a wonderful host and made us feel very welcome in her beautiful home. The views from the house are amazing - even when the weather is quite overcast and raining The bedroom and bathroom are roomy and tastefully decorated. To top it off Frederique cooked a fantastic breakfast for us both. We wanted to go into Clifden to enjoy a nice meal and a few drinks so through Frederique we got a taxi to and from town which was only 10 euro each way Highly recommend this BnB

Views and location were astonishing. Room was very cozy, clean, spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was complete and served in a very special terrace with superb views. Frederique was very accomodating, gentle and passionate about the area, of which she gave very good advice (both about places to see and restaurants).
Nothing relevant.

The warm welcome & view where magnificent, the breakfast was extraordinary and handmade with love, we got great recommendations from the host for our further journey, the B&B has a real calming/ quiet vibe
in some parts the room might profit from renovation. Also whilst we loved the quiet & relaxing atmosphere this also meant playing games or eating take-away dinner in the Common area felt "too loud" and a bit out of place as it is all an open plan

The location is perfect. I had booked a sea view room, which was delightful. Breakfast was extremely good with tasty home made delicacies, blueberry tarts and muffins, and excellent coffee. I was usually last at breakfast and Frederique went out of her way to re lay the table moving me into the room with the best view.
Nothing.

The location / views were amazing. Frederique took great care to present the food beautifully, including delicious sweet treats each day. It felt like we were ‘abroad’ because of Frederique’s nationality and that of the other guests. Our room was tastefully and subtely furnished with a giant sized bed.
No TV but really we shouldn’t need one given the amazing view in that beautiful location! More shelves to put stuff on would have been helpful

Beautiful view from the room overlooking the gorgeous bay. The room was very clean and comfortable. Frederique was very engaging and provided great information about the local area, pubs and restaurants. She cooked excellent and varied, hot breakfasts as well, which were very much appreciated. Parking was private and convenient. All in all, we had an excellent stay.
No negatives. The location is well beyond walking distance to the center of Clifden (10-minute drive) - but we knew this when we booked. For us, the view/comfort on Lower Sky Road outweighed being within walking distance to town, although this could perhaps be an issue for some.
