Location is very walkable to the heart of downtown. WiFi was good. Room size was as expected. Staff let us park our car in the lot a few hours before check in. This was our second time staying, and we'll definitely stay again.

Early check in costs extra. Late check out costs extra by the hour. Walls were thin, so we could consistently hear our neighbors' muffled speaking and could also hear the shower running (not just pipe noises, but the patter of the water too).

Location is very close to downtown (one block away to the main drag). Room was very clean. Easy checkin. Parking available. We usually stay here when we're in town because of these aspects. And the price is great!

Do not bring your pet or you will be charged a large amount of money. We made the mistake of bringing our dog and were charged for it afterward. They aren't even allowed ON the property, so don't even think about staying there and having your dog sleep in the car. I'm sure there were signs posted in the lobby during check in but I didn't see them and the person checking us in didn't mention it, so I didn't think about it until after we checked out. Once we left, I received a call claiming they "found dog hair in our room" and that they were going to charge us for it. That's fine, I just wish I had read the fine print on the contract first. And I wish the property details during reservation were more explicit about their no pet policy.

I stay in SLO 2-3 time a year and have stayed in various hotels. Depending on your expectations, I've found this location excellent relative to staying close to downtown and freeway. If you posses high expectations for the physical building & services you plan on inhabiting and using, you might want to consider another facility. Otherwise, this place will fit your budget and give you easy walking access to downtown SLO.

Great location, walkable to great restaurants, etc. The room was clean. Main reason I selected this hotel was because it had a microwave and refrigerator. It is budget friendly. Nothing fancy but met the needs.

Noise. The rooms are not soundproof, so it can very loud when people talk, especially outside and the parking lot. The person who was staying above my room was heavy footed so everytime he/she walked they were huge thuds.

Comfy beds, spacious bathroom, microwave and big refrigerator in the room. Plenty of parking spaces. Walkable distance from town center. Friendly and helpful staff. Freeway is close, gas station just next door. Recommend!

The beds are quite narrow, even though they're double beds, it might be uncomfortable for 2 people. We slept on separate beds. The airon is quite loud, we didn't mind this though.

Everything was excellent. Possibly the best inn/motel that I’ve stayed in for the price. Rooms are well laid out, excellent location, super clean. Our room appeared to be fairly new and renovated. Nice large air conditioner, if you need it. Only point of improvement is that on the second floor, the lights outside the room were really bright. But, hopefully it makes it a safe place to stay.

The room was clean and surprisingly quiet from outside noise. The staff member who checked us in was very nice to talk to & gave us some great recommendations for the area.

The room was a little bit small for 2 double beds & we spotted a couple spiders. We were on the ground floor & could hear the people above us walking around really loudly.

Friendly, accommodating staff and is in the best Location for walking to the downtown night life and close to great food options. Couldn’t ask for a better situation.

Personally, LED lights feel like a warehouse or a grocery store. So maybe warmer lights (orange hue) could help a lot. Other than that, the cleanliness makes up for it! Love this motel!

DAILY room service! I was so very pleasantly surprised! It was awesome - when staying for multiple nights - to not need to beg for additional towels, as fresh new ones appeared! It appears that late check ins are doable and not ideal. It is a noteworthy, but not uncomfortable and certainly flat, walk to downtown amenities. The money we saved on lodging made it easy to grab the occasional Uber, have a snack/breakfast at a fun local place, and still have many funds available! There is enough parking for everyone!

This is a motel, not a hotel or anything fancy. Your room faces the parking lot and you have a small room on the ground floor or second floor with a bathroom (that is a hotel). So as far as hotels go, we liked the location, the rooms were fine, the site was fine, coffee in the lobby and ice was available. Checking in and out was easy and parking was easy. We paid graduation weekend prices (2x normal), but that is to be expected in demand based pricing.
