Free bicycles to borrow. Great location, walkable and bikable to many attractions. Non-chain boutique hotel vibe. Glass of champagne at check-in. Unlimited chilled water bottles in the hallway! Great coffee station in the a.m.

Main lobby has strong smells like cheap air freshener. The staff acted surprised when they didn't have my name at check-in (I booked just an hour earlier on Booking.com). They give you a goodie bag for breakfast each morning (muffin, croissant, fruit, jam), but that is too much sugary carb stuff for my taste.

This is a smaller, quiet, more intimate hotel. The staff was fantastic and the customer service was excellent. The vibe is very unique and inviting.

The breakfast was a nice touch. The room was comfortable. The location was perfect … right in the middle of the action in old town Charleston. Everything was walkable.

I wasn’t really happy to find that immediately following providing the Vendue with a phone number for chatting with the staff, we became inundated with spam texts. Very uncool.

The hotel was clean and staff very nice. Location was excellent! The coffee in the lobby starting at 6:00 am was very good.

My credit card was whisked away, out of my sight, during check-in. The artwork and decor were not at all my style, some pieces disturbing. We did not eat the breakfast, which came in a bag and was attached to our door in the morning. There are many great places in the area to have a delicious hot breakfast in a charming atmosphere. I would have LOVED to know the history of the hotel, but no one seemed to know about it.

Really enjoyed our stay at the Vendue. Excellent location in the heart of the historic old town--short walks to historical sites, restaurants, and shopping. Very comfortable room and bath. Super clean with very courteous service staff both for room and foro the wing--across the street from the main hotel. Nice amenities like wine tasting, sherry, and coffee. Would absolutely recommend and stay there again.

Well, the Breakfast snacks were as expected. We needed additional cream for a second cup of coffee. Okay to drink it black. Would be nice if you could offer breakfast service in the adjoining restaurant. It is really not very good for dinner. Not surprised (in retrospect) it was poorly attended. Don't know how they got a high rating. Years ago, when dinner was still in part of your current lobby, the food was exceptional.

Easy check in. Central location. Complimentary fruit and croissants delivered to our door each morning to go with the coffee downstairs. Sunday there was champagne and chocolates. Elevator and eclectic art was a plus. Staff was very helpful. They had timely responses to my questions via text. Had the boutique vibe and short walk to city market as well as many restaurants. We will stay here again.

Check in was esay and staff was excellent! I brought my small dog Scarlett, which she was greeted with love and affection! Camren was amazing!!! He made the stay so welcoming and always giving our dog love. Scarlett loved him and looked forward to seeing Camren every morning and afternoon. Carmen made our stay amazing! Hospitality at its best!!! Bell staff and valet best I’ve experienced in all my travels! Easy always went above and beyond. We will stay at the vendue going forward while in down town!!

The hotel was a very cool and eclectic hotel, in a prime location. The staff were also wonderful and very helpful. It was right in the heart of oldtown, close to the shoreline, and within walking distance of most everything.

The pictures of the rooms are not always the room you get assigned, I had to push to get the room that was shown in the picture. (there are not many of the ones with brick walls that they picture)

Staff were very friendly and attentive. Hotel came with many perks like pastry in the morning, sherry/brownie in the afternoon, cookie at night. The interior decoration was awesome and the location could not be better.

The layout is a bit trickly and requires a bit walk, fortunately the staff helped us carry the luggage upstairs when check in, but when checking out, we had to do thta ourselves down a long hallway. The room only has a sky window, so the air is not the superb.
