The location was very close to the coast. We were only a few minutes (walking) from everything Sorrento has to offer. We met Federico & Maria when we first arrived. They were very welcoming and provided us with everything we needed. The entry area of our room gave us additional space for luggage which was great compared to the usual limited space of hotel rooms. We watched very little television but they had a smart tv so we were able to quickly catch up on news and even watch a short YouTube video about the area.

Everything was great but be aware...one of the beautiful aspects of Sorrento is the cobblestone streets. These are difficult to use when attempting to roll luggage. You have to drag it instead. Make sure you know where the elevator (lift) down to the beach is located. (Villa Comunale park) It opens early and closes late and cost a few euros depending on whether you have luggage. Arriving by ferry (from Naples) is easier than the bus & train and helps avoid traffic. We didn't use a taxi but we heard they're very expensive for just a 2-3 minute ride.

I cannot say enough good things about Maria and Federico, they are absolutely incredible - such helpful information, really kind conversation, very quick messaging when we needed help, and even went so far as to carry our luggage up the steps! They had all the things we could need, including beverages for purchase already chilled in the room, A/C, beach towels, and and absolutely breathtaking view from their property. It was gorgeously decorated, incredibly located, and felt just so safe. I would come back to Sorrento simply to stay at this place again, and would recommend it HIGHLY to anyone staying in the Sorrento region.

Everything was perfect, the room was clean, also its near the beach, which has a lift nearby! I've loved the personal, i think they are owners, they were so cute, even they had a compliment as a limoncello and even they have a guide book for the stayers, where is everything located! And every detail of the interior, little corner for reading and terrace, even on the stairs flowers were lovely! Really recommend who wants to stay to vacation. The best experience, thanks to the service! Really glad that i've choose this hotel(b&b)!

The room was spacious, very secure, well stocked, comfortable and close to both the busy part of town, and the quiet beach area. The hosts were very kind and provided a map of the area and info about transportation options.

The only down side (not the host’s fault) was the noise from the street below the window (cars, & motorcycles) during the day, but it was quiet before 8 am and after 10.

We had an amazing stay at B&B Al Mara! The location was perfect, the rooms design was very fitting for the area and also spacious! But most of all we loved the hospitality and kindness of hosts Maria and Federico! They were very welcoming to us and always helpful and positively involved. It goes without saying that we would definitely recommend staying at this B&B!

The location of B&B Al Mare was excellent for us, being both close to the Marina and the center (but away from the noise to ensure a peaceful night's sleep). The hosts (Maria and Frederico) were excellent and welcomed us in the best possible way. They also helped us with all the information we asked for and prepared an exceptional breakfast. The room was exactly as in the photo and had all the items in the description. The bed and bathrooms were very comfortable.

The location was spot on perfect, very close to the beach and the centro storico as well as the main part of the town. The room was spacious and we had a lovely little view to the ocean. Parking was easy and very convenient, very safe as well. The best part about the property though were the hosts, they’re absolutely wonderful and lovely, very helpful and sweet.

B&B Al Mare truly such a wonderful place to stay. Maria & Federico are amazing and wonderful hosts, are so hospitable and welcoming. They always made sure we had everything we needed .Тhey gave us very useful advice on choosing restaurants and excursions. Our room was very clean and comfortable The location is great, in the center of everything, literally just a few minutes from the beach and port and marina, which is the best place for seafood. I would highly recommend staying at B&B Al Mare .

Great location to access Marina Grande and Sorrento town centre. Central but also tucked away and quiet on a night. Room well furnished in a bold style, very spacious. Very clean. Good shower and effective aircon. Very slight sea view too!

Quite a lot of keys to carry around to access property and room but that’s only a minor niggle! Safe in room was tiny.

The owners/staff were so friendly and helpful in every aspect! I highly recommend this place to stay. it is in a perfect location.

The only reason I didn't give it a full 10 rating is that the hot water was very scarce. we ran out of hot water after about 2 mins during every shower.
