Room was nice, balcony was beautiful. Food and service was excellent. A really nice night.

Late at night I went to go to the gaming room from my room. I had to leave the hotel and walk around the other side of the hotel. Felt a little uneasy especially since I didn't know where I was going. I did talk to the attendant in the gaming room about it. He did offer to walk me back. Thank you.

Beautiful hotel in a stunning location

There was nothing not to like. The hotel is so comfortable and the beautiful wide verandah was a lovely spot to relax and enjoy the views, including magnificent sunsets.

Help received by staff, food varied and large. Atmosphere splendid.

Loved the location, across the road from the pier. Room was good and bed was comfortable.

Nobody's fault but the guy in the next room did not have an inside voice volume.

Great value motel rooms for overnight stay in beachside location. We stayed here for a friends 70th being held at the hotel. The amenities of the motel rooms were more basic than the heritage hotel rooms but the beds were comfortable and rooms clean. Parking was convenient for driving in and out. The hotel menu for both dinner and breakfast offered great pub fare and the drinks menu was extensive.

Our room was one of the first adjacent reception and as a result it was quite noisy. If you are using the family motel room with single bed off to one side, the head of the single bed is right by the door leading to the main corridor and reception, so there is some noise.

Received a warm welcome. Managed to swap rooms to a ground floor due to disability. Couldn't arrange this on the website/options. Room was very clean and excellent housekeeping staff. Red wine selection was good. Close to the beach. Large food portions. Lots of heritage features have been kept.

Menu was based on full meals for lunch and evening trade. It wasn't possible to get a simple sandwich and fries. Yet they made toast for breakfast ?? Restaurants shut around 8.30-9.00pm. It was difficult to get through the hotel on an evening once the restaurant was closed. Cash machine charged 7 dollars for a withdrawal.

Beautiful old property. Well looked after (could do with some love on carpets in bedroom and the stairs). Rooms were well stocked with tea/milk/sugar - two complementary bottles of water. Toiletries for short visit. Very comfortable bed. My room has a shower only would have preferred a bath. Aircon a little noisy but fortunately did not need it. Great location and restaurant attached. Excellent breakfast options you could add onto room bill.

Didn’t like the gaming room being attached but in the end didn’t really make a difference as was out on the Friday evening and checked out Saturday morning. Had I had a longer stay the noise may have bothered me.
